(S01E01) Normally, I wouldn't be reviewing the premiere of a primetime game show like Power of 10. I mean, other than the object of the game, the concept is cookie cutter to the other nighttime game shows that are currently airing. You have the loud music, the spotlights racing across the stage, the reveal of the answer after the commercial break (which I find soooo annoying) and another stand-up comedian who has taken on new duties as show host.

• At 8, CBS has the premiere of Power of 10, then a new Big Brother.
• FOX has a new On The Lot at 8.
• NBC has a new America's Got Talent at 8, followed by a new Singing Bee.
• TCM has Jane Russell in The Outlaw at 8.
• Also at 8: ESPN has two new episodes of The World Series of Poker, then a new installment of The Bronx Is Burning.
• At 8:30, ABC has a new Just For Laughs, then a new Primetime: Crime and the premiere of i-Caught.
• At 9, Discovery has a new Dirty Jobs.
• A&E has a new Dog The Bounty Hunter at 9, then a new Criss Angel: Mindfreak.
• History Channel has a new episode of The Universe at 9.
• There's a new Decorating Cents on HGTV at 9.
• At 10, FX has a new Damages.
• At 10:30, Food Network has a new Giada's Weekend Getaways.

Back in April, Joel told you about the game show pilot that Tucker Carlson was filming for CBS. Back then it was titled Who Do You Trust?, which is the same name of the game show Johnny Carson had in the 1950s. I'm not sure why, but the title has been changed to Do You Trust Me? The network has ordered six episodes of the game show.

This isn't the only game show CBS has this fall. They also have Drew Carey's Power of 10.

CBS is on a good run, being the most watched network for the last five years, but they have taken a bit of heat for the formulaic way they have gone about doing it. Not arguing with success, the whole family of CSIs, and their crime based cousins, will be back, but the network is trying to branch out with some edgier programming. Most notably, Swingtown, Viva Laughlin, and Moonlight.
