Got TV Questions? Ask Mo Those Queries Here

by Maureen Ryan, posted Mar 1st 2011 10:30AM
It's time for another Ask Mo column. Please leave your TV queries below, and I'll get to as many of them as I can in a soon-to-be-published post.

If you'd rather email your queries, feel free to drop me a line here. I regret to say that I don't have time to reply to everyone who sends a question, but please know that I do read every email.

All my previous Ask Mo columns can be found here. Please give the recent ones a quick peek before leaving your query; your question (or something similar to it) might already have been answered in a recent column.

Got Questions? Leave Your TV Queries Here

by Maureen Ryan, posted Jan 24th 2011 1:15PM
It's been far too long since we've done an Ask Mo session. I'm betting you've got a lot of questions about what's going on and what's to come in the TV realm. Please leave your questions in the comment area below.

I'll answer as many questions as I can in an upcoming Ask Mo column, and Ryan McGee and I will also try to answer a few in this week's Talking TV with Ryan and Ryan podcast, which is likely to go live Wednesday.

It's 'Ask Mo' Time: Answering Questions on 'Game of Thrones,' 'Parks and Recreation,' 'The Good Guys' and More

by Maureen Ryan, posted Dec 17th 2010 1:30PM
Welcome to the latest edition of Ask Mo! Thanks, as always, for your good questions (by the way, one of them, which was about 'Fringe,' was answered here). Let's get started, shall we?

From Matt Notley: Are you as excited about 'Game of Thrones' next year as I am?

Mo here: Heck yeah! I've been avidly waiting for each behind-the-scenes featurette, photo and blog post from the 'GoT' team. George R.R. Martin, author of the book series on which the HBO show is based, noted on his Not a Blog that production had recently ended on the first season of the show, and he also said there might be some news on the show in early January (though 'GoT' itself reportedly won't premiere until some time in April).

It's been too long since I did the last Ask Mo column. So let's get one more done before 2010 ends!

Leave your questions in the comment area below or email me. If you left a question on a different post at some other point in time, don't assume that I will recall it. It's best to leave all queries on this post (or email me), and I'll try to get to as many questions as I can before the week is out.

It's That Time Again: Ask Mo Your TV Questions Here!

by Maureen Ryan, posted Nov 15th 2010 1:30PM
The last couple "Ask Mo" columns have been a lot of fun to write, and I certainly hope you've enjoyed reading them as well (previous editions of "Ask Mo" -- one of them in podcast form -- are here, here and here).

For an "Ask Mo" column that will be posted later this week or early next week, I'm soliciting your questions once more.

If you have a TV-related query, ask it below in the comment area. You can also hit me on Twitter or email your question if you'd rather go that route. I'll try to get to as many questions as I can.

Thanks!

Ask Mo: Answering Your Queries on 'Caprica,' 'Chuck,' 'Walking Dead' and More

by Maureen Ryan, posted Nov 2nd 2010 6:20PM
From Harvey: I was just wondering if you had any thoughts about 'Caprica' and the way the cancellation was handled. I can't remember ever being this [angry at] a network and I don't know if there's any point to even trying to save the show or if I should just move onto the boycott idea. ...Basically, what I'm asking is, do you think that there is any good will left at Syfy to wrap up the story (because we know that the season ends with a cliffhanger)?

Mo says: I got a lot of questions and tweets about 'Caprica' during the past week, some of which contained a certain amount of strong language.

I get it: I understand that it hurts when a show you really like gets canceled, and it's very rare for a cable show to get pulled from the schedule before it completes airing the episodes in its current season. I'm sure that for 'Caprica' fans, the sudden yanking of the show adds to the sting.

Last time I asked you all for questions, I got a lot of great responses. Many thanks!

I'm happy to say that 'Ask Mo' is going to be a regular feature, and I'd like to get more questions from you, pretty please. Leave your questions below, hit me on Twitter or email them to me when you get a chance. I'll answer as many as a feasibly can in a column that will be posted tomorrow afternoon.

Ask Mo: Answering your questions on 'Justified,' 'Mad Men,' 'Doctor Who' and much more

by Maureen Ryan, posted Oct 26th 2010 2:45PM
I recently asked you to hit me with questions, via the comment area of this post and email. I didn't get to all your great questions in the list of answers below, but look for more discussions of some issues and topics that you raised in next week's 'Talking TV with Ryan & Ryan' podcast. Thanks for all the great queries -- and don't fret, I'll be soliciting your questions again soon!

Cyloncaprica: I love 'Justified.' Nothing against Walton [Goggins, who plays Boyd Crowder on the FX show], but the lack of Jacob Pitts and Erica Tazel bothered me a bit. Hopefully the creators find a way to integrate their characters a little bit better [in season 2].

Mo says: Nobody felt worse about the sidelining of actors Pitts and Tazel than 'Justified' executive producer Graham Yost. I spoke to Yost at the TCA Summer Press Tour in August, and he winced when I mentioned that we hadn't seen much of them later in the season.

by Maureen Ryan, posted Oct 14th 2010 12:15PM
Got questions about television? Leave them below for a new Ask Mo feature we're going to start posting here regularly.

Feel free to leave your questions in the comment area, hit me on Twitter with your inquiries or email me with what's on your mind.

A few small requests: Don't ask me when 'The Unit' is coming back (sorry, it's not), and if your question is about when a particular show is coming out on DVD, hit up the indispensable TV Shows on DVD for that info.
