Rachel Zoe Compliments Kate Middleton's Effortless and Elegant Style on 'GMA' (VIDEO)
by Nick Zaino, posted Jul 11th 2011 12:45PM
Kate Middleton (and that guy she's married to) visited America last week, and the royal couple were welcomed by impressed celebrities and onlookers wherever they went. Count fashion stylist and reality TV star Rachel Zoe among them. Monday on 'Good Morning America' (weekdays, 7AM on ABC), Zoe critiqued Middleton's style with host Robin Roberts. Middleton came out favorably on all accounts."I think she's very comfortable and confident in who she is and in her style," said Zoe. "And I think she's just really hitting ... an incredible, like, I mean, the bright colors, the knee-length. She's, like, conservative but chic and elegant and timeless and effortless. And I love that she's doing it on her own."

Kate Hudson Dishes Out Relationship Advice for 'The Rachel Zoe Project' (VIDEO)
by Oliver Miller, posted Sep 1st 2010 9:55AM
'
The Rachel Zoe Project' (Tue., 10PM ET on Bravo) follows the life of, well, Rachel Zoe -- the perpetually-stressed celebrity stylist. Or at least, Rachel seems like she's always stressed. It could just be an act for the cameras, to heighten the drama of her series. But based on Rachel's personality, we're going to agree with the concept that she's just agitated by everything, all the time.
On the latest episode, the thing that Rachel is currently stressed about is ... her marriage. Rachel's husband Rodger is feeling neglected in their relationship, and in addition to that -- he wants a baby. Hmm. It seems like if Rachel is this overwhelmed already, then adding a baby to the mix would just freak her out even more. But hey! Maybe the couple are in need of some advice. Perhaps from a famous celebrity of some kind?

Bethenny Frankel Gets Her Own Show
by Chris Jordan, posted Jan 11th 2010 11:45AM
Bethenny Frankel appears to have it all: fame, fortune, Skinnygirl Margaritas -- everything, that is, except for her own reality series.Until now.
Frankel, one of the breakout stars of Bravo's 'Real Housewives of New York,' is set to star in her own series called 'Bethenny's Getting Married?', which will presumably follow Frankel's engagement to Jason Hoppy, according to E! (yes, the question mark is intentional).
Taylor Jacobson Leaving Rachel Zoe: Who Should Replace Her?
by Rebecca Paiement, posted Nov 9th 2009 1:00PM
If and when the 'Rachel Zoe Project' resumes on Bravo, it will have to be without assistant Taylor Jacobson.PEOPLE is reporting that Zoe has fired Jacobson, effective immediately. Zoe's rep, Carrie Gordon, has since confirmed the news.
Why Jacobson was let go remains to be seen, although, given how often she complained about her job on the show, many would say she had it coming.
Still, Jacobson insists that the decision was solely her own. Hoping to begin her own fashion styling business, Jacobson's Twitter account and emails to colleagues, leaked to Fashionista, reflect her enthusiasm to get out on her own. "I am saddened and exhilarated at the same time to announce my departure," she wrote. "After much thought and consideration, I have decided to take the challenging leap and go off and style on my own."
Bethenny Frankel disses Rachel Zoe and her "project"
by Allison Waldman, posted Sep 9th 2009 3:05PM
It's taken a real housewife to call it like it is. One of the Real Housewives of New York, Bethenny Frankel tweeted about Rachel Zoe and how ridiculous her Bravo show is. I can't imagine the network is happy about the shot across shows, but Bethenny is completely right. The Rachel Zoe Project is one of the worst reality shows I've seen in a long time and Zoe is way over the top.On Monday, Frankel took to Twitter to pose the question, "Wondering if I'm the only one who can't get over the self-important nonsense that is Rachel Zoe. Wow."
You're not alone, BF. In just a few episodes, Rachel has revealed herself to be completely self-involved, horrible to work for, obsessed with frippery, and possessed of a vocabulary that would make a Valley Girl sound like William F. Buckley.
The Rachel Zoe Project returns tonight - that's bananas!
by Jane Boursaw, posted Aug 24th 2009 9:02AM
I can't say that I'm the biggest reality TV freak on the planet, but one show I always look forward to is The Rachel Zoe Project on Bravo. A lot of that fascination is not only because of the teeny-tiny Rachel herself, but also her tortured assistants, Taylor Jacobson and Brad Goreski. These three, along with Rachel's husband, Rodger, make up one of fashion's most lovably dysfunctional families. Taylor is possibly the most non-people-person ever to appear on a reality show, and the bow-tied Brad is the guy I'd most like to have as a girlfriend. He's upbeat and funny, which is the exact opposite of the broody Taylor. But together, they somehow make it work, as Tim Gunn would say. Or as Rachel might say, they're "a soldier of rising above it all" (OK, she was talking about herself with that comment, but still ... ).
Rachel Zoe returns - Shut.Up!
by Jane Boursaw, posted Dec 9th 2008 12:06PM
I'm overly excited about the news that The Rachel Zoe Project has been picked up for a second season on Bravo. I got hooked on the first season this fall, and have grown to love that pixie stylist and her dysfunctional assistants. If you haven't watched the show, it follows the crazy life of Rachel Zoe, an L.A.-based stylist to celebs like Debra Messing and Molly Sims. She makes the stars look good on the red carpet, on magazine covers, and at fashion shows, and mixes with all sorts of interesting people, like designers Marc Jacobs and Michael Kors.
But all the fun really happens inside Rachel's studio, where she tries to keep everybody happy, including hubby Rodger, and squabbling assistants Taylor Jacobson and Brad Goreski. Those two are as opposite as they come, but that's what makes it fun for the rest of us.
Project Runway: Fashion that Drives You

(S05E07) Wow, this season's designers are an emotional little bunch, aren't they? There's a lot of whining, a lot of complaining, a lot of talking behind each others' backs. These kids make me feel like I'm in high school all over again, except everyone is somehow even more poorly dressed and misinformed about aesthetics. The designers also seem increasingly insecure about their own work and this challenge did their fragile states no favors. Charged with the mission to grab materials from cars and make something wearable, you'd probably get a little grumpy too.TV Squad Hot Topics
