Colbert Talks to Radiohead About Christmas Albums, Grammys, Sponsors (VIDEO)
If there's one thing we know about Stephen Colbert, it's that he loves to boast about his own accomplishments. So we knew it was only a matter of time, with Radiohead on 'The Colbert Report' (Weeknights, 11:30PM ET on Comedy Central), before he brought up his Grammy win in 2010.It was kind of charming that lead singer Thom Yorke wasn't even sure if they had one, but they did finally remember winning one for Best Packaging.
"That's one of the top ones right there," Colbert marveled.
In an awkward moment for their sponsor then, Colbert apologized for not clearing it with the band first, and then Yorke said Dr. Pepper could never be the official soft drink of Radiohead because of how horrible it tastes. But hey, there's no such thing as bad advertisement, right?
'Sex and the City' Might Head Back to TV, 'Radiohead' to Play 'SNL' Season Premiere and More TV News
After the second 'Sex and the City' movie turned out kind of horribly (don't argue, you know deep down it's true), all 'SATC'-related attention turned toward the rumored prequel movie, which would star anyone from Blake Lively to Elizabeth Olsen, depending on which article you read. Now, the latest 'SATC' buzz is saying the show could return to its original medium -- television.
According to Britain's Daily Mail (via Vulture), Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha could return for a seventh season of the hit series.
A source told the paper, "Ultimately Darren Star -- the man who created the hit series -- will have the overall say, but everyone is agreed a TV show is the direction they want to take the franchise in."
As with all 'SATC' rumors, we're not holding our breath.

Jay Leno's 'Tonight Show' Promo Gets a Music Makeover
Anyway, the new promos have been using a cover version of the Beatles' "Get Back" to not-so-subtly greet the host back from prime time hell. But one very clever YouTube user found a much more appropriate song to accompany Jay on his return back to 11:30 p.m.

Dr. Horrible by the numbers
Now that we've all had a chance to take in and digest the saga of Dr. Horrible, one of the big questions is "Did it work?" It certainly seemed to work for the viewers. In our poll, an astounding 74.2% of you gave it 5 out of 5. Another 22.5% went with 4 out of 5. The bigger question though, is did it work out for everybody on the money end? And I ask that rather selfishly. Sure, I'd like to see Whedon, Fillion, Harris, Day, and the whole crew make a few bucks. But really, I'm more concerned with getting to see more of the story. If the numbers worked out for all involved, the chances of that happening increase greatly.
Jeffrey McManus has made some educated guesses at just how the numbers shake out for those involved. The short version of McManus' analysis: At a million iTunes downloads he has the principle actors bringing in something in the neighborhood of $100,000 with Whedon coming in at around $4 million $2.6 million. I'm not sure how feasible one million iTunes downloads on iTunes is, but I do know that at the moment Dr. Horrible counts for 3 of the top 4 episodes and the top season on the U.S. lists. Add in the international markets and it's certainly not an outlandish goal.
