Ramona Questions Luann's Parenting Style on 'Real Housewives of New York City' (VIDEO)
by Nick Zaino, posted Apr 29th 2011 5:15AM
We realize this comes as no surprise to anyone, least of all those familiar with 'The Real Housewives of New York City' (Thu., 10PM ET on BRAVO), but things got catty between Ramona and Luann on Thursday night's episode. It all had to do with Luann and her boyfriend, and the time she spends in New York with him versus the time she spends at home with the kids.Ramona's position, though she never stated it explicitly, was that Luann was a bit of an absentee parent. Ramona talked about Luann bringing her kids to this new life, and then leaving them to spend time in New York with her boyfriend. "You have this great guy, and now you live in the city during the week with him," Ramona said. Luann begged to differ, saying it was only a couple of days a week.
The arrangement worked out well for her, Luann said, which led Ramona to call her a "weekend mom." "It's whatever works," said Ramona, somewhat insincerely. You know, whatever you wanna do. If being an absentee parent works for you, that's fine, Ramona won't judge you. She's just sayin'. You know?
What You Missed Last Night: dancin' fools on Real Housewives of NYC
by Bob Sassone, posted May 6th 2009 6:30PM
If you were to summarize any of the Real Housewives shows, it would be "stupid people doing stupid things for stupid reasons." Is there ever anyone on these shows that you actually like? In this clip from last night's season finale of Real Housewives of New York City, Ramona (love these names) goes all loopy ("it's a cocktail party, not a disco party!") and then dances with some guy (check out Bravo's site if you can't see this video). Um ... enjoy?
