Shatner takes on Limbaugh on upcoming Raw Nerve

by John Scott Lewinski, posted Dec 5th 2009 9:02AM
William Shatner takes on Rush Limbaugh on Raw Nerve. It'll be a feast for the eyes for anyone who loves to watch doughy, puffed up, bombastic old men when Rush Limbaugh sits down with William Shatner on the Biography Channel series, Raw Nerve.

Airing this Sunday after taping last summer, the Shatner Vs. Limbaugh clash touches on everything from family background to health care. But the exchange looks like a couple aging members of a country club debating stock tips at the 19th hole.

I have no interest in the inevitable political jibber-jabber headed our way Sunday. But, I'd love to see these two square off over who gets the last piece of lasagna. The fatty grunts alone would blow out your TV speakers.

Fascinating: Kirk to interview Spock tomorrow

by Bob Sassone, posted Jan 5th 2009 7:02PM
ShatnerHas anyone been watching William Shatner's talk show Raw Nerve? I swore to myself that I would watch it when it premiered, but it's on The Biography Channel, and sometimes when we're talking about those channels that get up to 105 or 144 or 170 on your cable system, you forget that the show is on. Heck, I'm not even sure I even get The Biography Channel on my cable system since they started taking away and adding channels in my package last year. But if I do have it I'm going to check out tomorrow's episode for sure.

On the January 6 episode, Shatner is going to interview good friend and Star Trek buddy Leonard Nimoy.

Chris Isaak gets a wicked new show on Bio Channel

by Bob Sassone, posted Jul 10th 2008 3:02PM

Chris IsaakLooks like The Biography Bio Channel is trying to make a name for themselves outside of the usual programming they have. First they signed Williams Shatner to do his own talk show, called Raw Nerve, and now they've signed musician/actor Chris Isaak to host his own talk show too, The Chris Isaak Hour.

This should be fun, because Isaak is a funny, likable guy and can probably get some cool guests/bands that you don't usually see on talk shows. And I'd much rather see him do this than those guest spots he's been doing on Extra (or is it Access Hollywood? All those shows tend to run together on the schedule and in the mind.)
