'Real Housewives' Tamra Barney, Peggy Tanous 'Roofied' at NYC Bar (VIDEO)

by PopEater Staff, posted Mar 9th 2011 12:30PM
'Real Housewives' stars Tamra Barney and Peggy Tanous got a dose of reality this week while out for drinks in New York City.

Orange County 'Housewife' Tamra Barney appeared on Andy Cohen's 'Watch What Happens Live' talk show and claims she "got roofied," referring to the drug Rohypnol, used in many date-rape cases.

NYC Housewife Ramona Singer, who was with Barney and her co-stars Vicki Gunvalson and Peggy Tanous when the incident occurred, explained the situation to Radar. Singer said the ladies were out at a New York bar, greeting fans and having a nice time.

'The Real Housewives of Orange County' Season 6 Trailer: Divorce, Catfights and Gold Diggers

by Jean Bentley, posted Jan 28th 2011 1:30PM
The Real Housewives of Orange County'The Real Housewives of Orange County' might've been overshadowed by their counterparts in Beverly Hills, Atlanta, New York and New Jersey these past few years, but Bravo's trailer for the newest season of the original Housewives proves they haven't lost their flair for the dramatic just yet.

In the one-and-a-half-minute clip, the ladies talk vaginal rejuvenation, the danger of gold diggers (pot, meet kettle) and divorce, then get into fights that would be immature even for high schoolers. Someone actually shouts "Your husband was rude to my husband!" before a shoving match breaks out. Ah, it feels good to be back.

Though Lynne Curtin isn't listed as a full-time cast member, she pops up in the trailer along with former Housewife Jeana Keough. The newbies this season are Peggy Tanous, a stay-at-home-mom-slash-model, and Fernanda Rocha, the first lesbian cast member.

'The Real Housewives of Orange County' season 6 premieres Sun., March 6 at 10PM ET on Bravo. Watch the trailer after the jump.

Vicki Wants Out of the 'Real Housewives' Reunion Show (VIDEO)

by Jane Boursaw, posted Mar 12th 2010 1:34AM
Real Housewives of Orange County, VickiVicki, Vicki, Vicki. First of all, where did you get that hideous dress? Seriously, did you play like Scarlett O'Hara and rip a curtain off a window?

And if you don't want to fight on national TV, why on earth would you sign on for a show like 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' (Thu., 9PM ET on Bravo)? That's what you guys do – fight, make up, fight, make up. That's really about all there is to it.

So either get with the program, or move on to a show like 'The Marriage Ref.' Yeah, you'd probably fit right in over there.

Tamra Barney Dishes on her Separation on 'Real Housewives' (VIDEO)

by Jane Boursaw, posted Mar 11th 2010 4:35AM
Real Housewives of Orange County, Simon and Tamra SeparationThings have been imploding between Simon and Tamra for a while now on 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' (Wed., 10PM ET on Bravo), so it's no big shocker that they would separate.

Tamra talked moving out and getting her own apartment, but whenever there are kids involved, it always ups the emotional factor exponentially. Sophia isn't doing all that great, which is hard for everyone involved. And Tamra looks like she's aged about ten years during this season.

'Real Housewives' Head to Beverly Hills

by Chris Harnick, posted Mar 10th 2010 4:22PM
Mia MichaelsGet ready for the 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.'

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Bravo has given the go-ahead to four new series, including a Beverly Hills edition of its popular 'Real Housewives' franchise. (We're already imagining a crossover episode with the nearby 'Real Housewives of Orange County.')

Also getting the greenlight are 'Miami Social Club,' a reality series that chronicles the lives of Miami socialites, but apparently has nothing to do with Bravo's other Miami-based series, 'Miami Social,' 'Million Dollar Decorators,' about high-end designers, and the New York-based 'Pregnant in Heels.'

Vicki Comforts Tamra on 'Real Housewives of Orange County' (VIDEO)

by Jane Boursaw, posted Mar 5th 2010 3:53AM
Real Housewives of Orange County, Tamra, VickiEven though they can be shallow, petty and whiny, it's still disheartening any time a divorce enters into the equation on 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' (Thu., 10PM ET on Bravo).

Tamra thinks that's just where she's headed with Simon, and turns to Vicki for guidance. And Vicki has some darn good advice.

"You've gotta stop him from controlling you," she told the distraught housewife. "You are gonna control your own destiny. You can't let anybody else do it. At the very end of the night when you put your head on the pillow, it's your life." You can't argue with that.

On the other hand, is Vicki really one to be giving marriage advice?

What to Watch: March 4

by Kim Potts, posted Mar 4th 2010 6:00AM
'Real Housewives of New York City' (11PM, Bravo) season 3 premiere
Oh, it's on! The season opens with Jill and LuAnn joining Ramona on a Hamptons boating excursion, but they don't make it more than a few minutes into the episode before the claws come out and Jill is riffing on the inappropriateness of Ramona's skimpy bikini while LuAnn picks at Ramona for her rude hubby's behavior. And that's small stuff compared to the tension-filled get together the snooty Countess has with tell-it-like-it-is Bethenny, as LuAnn calls Bethenny out on some catty comments from last season, and Bethenny calls LuAnn, among other things, a drag queen. We also learn that one-time BFFs Bethenny and Jill are on the outs, and a sneak peek at the rest of the season shows Bethenny again butting heads with crazy Kelly. It's a good thing our favorite preggers, nekkid-posing, Skinny Girl chef Bethenny is getting her own spin-off series on Bravo ... this show isn't big enough for her and the other NYC divas.

March 2010 Premiere Dates And Finales

Dancing with the Stars / Nip/Tuck
Now that Olympic fever has subsided, it's time to look ahead to a March filled with many returning favorites, including ABC's 'Dancing with the Stars,' NBC's 'The Apprentice,' and Comedy Central's bad boys of 'South Park.' The month also offers both 'The 82nd Annual Academy Awards' on ABC and NCAA Basketball's "March Madness" on CBS.

March kicks off with one of the most controversial premieres of the year. After a dismal performance in primetime, Jay Leno returns to 'The Tonight Show' (Mon., March 1 at 11:35PM on NBC) desk he temporarily vacated for Conan O'Brien. Make sure you don't miss a moment of the biggest premieres and finales in March.

Simon Compares Vicki to Hitler on 'Real Housewives' (VIDEO)

by Jane Boursaw, posted Feb 26th 2010 1:02AM
Real Housewives of Orange County, TamraIt's one thing to fight with your wife's friend, but quite another to compare her to Hitler.

"Everyone has a good side," Simon says to Tamra on 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' (Thu., 10PM ET on Bravo). "Hitler had a good side. He was very nice to Eva Braun ... he had some dogs and he took care of the dogs, but he was evil anti-Christ."

You know ... like Vicki. We especially love the editing on this scene. When Tamra cranks her head to look at Simon, it's like that "dramatic hamster" video on YouTube.

Gretchen on 'Real Housewives': 'Everyone Should Be For Lease' (VIDEO)

The Real Housewives of Orange County, GretchenTalk about ruining the moment. Slade was all set to pop the question to Gretchen on 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' (Thu., 10PM ET on Bravo), until she started crazy-talking about how everybody should be for lease.

"If I had somebody for lease and I knew that, hey, they're either gonna keep me or turn me in for a newer or better version, I'm gonna try and stay tuned up! I'm gonna try and be as good as I can."

Yeah, that's stable. Good luck with that, Slade.

The Curtins Get an Eviction Notice on 'Real Housewives of Orange County' (VIDEO)

by Jane Boursaw, posted Feb 12th 2010 2:34AM
Real Housewives of Orange County - Lynne gets an eviction noticeHey, they don't call it a reality show for nothing. Reality is hitting home on 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' (Thurs., 10PM ET on Bravo) when the Curtins get an eviction notice. Only problem? Lynne and Frank weren't there when the eviction was served. Raquel had to call and tell her mom they'd just been served.

Well, you know what, Lynne? Maybe you should have thought twice about that face lift. Maybe Frank is right, and you've been living beyond your means for a while now. Maybe it's time to get ... a reality check!

'Real Housewives of Orange County': 'Stay out of my marriage!' (VIDEO)

The Real Housewives of Orange County"Stay out of my marriage!" says Simon, Tamra's husband on 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' (Thurs., 10PM ET on Bravo). It's true that Vicki was sticking her nose into Simon and Tamra's marriage, but everyone knows that something told in confidence to a girlfriend shouldn't go any further.

At any rate, things aren't looking so good for Simon and Tamra's marriage. How long do you give these two? For that matter, how long before Tamra and Vicki's friendship implodes?
