Michaele and Tareq Salahi are still clinging to 'Real Housewives' dreams.According to TMZ, the former 'Real Housewives of DC' couple are moving to Beverly Hills, but were denied entry to Bravo's posh and buzziest new 'Housewives' series, 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.'

Andy Cohen Scores Book Deal
by Alex Moaba, posted Aug 8th 2011 4:15PM
We have absolutely no idea where Andy Cohen will find the time to write a memoir, but the Bravo Executive Vice-President and 'Watch What Happens Live' host has signed a book deal. Henry Holt and Company have commissioned one of TV's best multi-taskers to write a memoir about his life experience with pop culture. Cohen announced the deal on his Bravo blog. The memoir will track Cohen's lifelong obsession with pop culture and how that has influenced his career. He'll share funny stories he's been saving about his days growing up in St. Louis, including his journey towards coming to terms with his sexuality, his time as a reporter for CBS News, and, we can only hope, some behind-the-scenes goodness about the process of creating the 'The Real Housewives' franchise for Bravo.
"I love to write and I'm thrilled that I get to share stories of my improbable intersections with pop culture that have enriched my life," Cohen said in a statement. He also said that he began writing the book this week, and that it's due out next summer. Cohen is soliciting suggestions from fans to help him decide on the memoir's title.
Northern Fights: 'Real Housewives of Vancouver' in the Works
by Chris Jancelewicz, posted May 31st 2011 9:45AM

The over-the-top squabbles and intense drama of the 'Real Housewives' franchise are coming to Canada -- more specifically, to the west coast city of Vancouver.
While there was initially some speculation that the franchise would be based out of Canada's biggest metropolis, Toronto, the series will launch in British Columbia. According to Shaw Media, the show is set to air on Canada's female-geared reality channel, Slice, and while Canadians are known for their niceties and politeness, we have a feeling this will showcase their darker side (yes, it can happen!).
Bravo to Recast 'The Real Housewives of New York City'?
by Jean Bentley, posted May 16th 2011 12:00PM
Could we have seen the last of Turtle Time?Yep, Ramona Singer and her fellow socialites could be gone from 'The Real Housewives of New York City' next season, reports the New York Post.
According to the paper, Bravo is looking to completely rehaul the 'New York' cast by hiring an all-new group of women for the next season. That means Jill Zarin, pantsless Sonja Morgan and the rest of the ladies could be gone from the show completely.
"They want an entirely new cast to replicate Beverly Hills," a source told the Post. "They want rich, rich women, like Adrienne Maloof and Camille Grammer, dripping in glamour and $10 million penthouses. And they don't want to fake it. They are discreetly reaching out to women who fit the bill."
Rachel Dratch and Cheyenne Jackson Compete Over 'Housewives' Trivia (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Apr 25th 2011 4:48AM
Maybe somebody over at '30 Rock' should considering upping Cheyenne Jackson and Rachel Dratch to full-time status. That way neither of them would have the time to ever become such experts on the 'Real Housewives' franchise again. On 'Watch What Happens: Live' (Sun., 11PM ET on Bravo), the pair put their knowledge to the test with the "Housewives Playhouse Challenge." In it, they took turns reading quotes from various housewives to one another. The person who correctly identified the most quotes was the winner.
And while some people might automatically assume that Dratch would have the edge because surely 'Real Housewives' skews female, you'd be both wrong and surprised. Jackson nailed his answers quickly, and then when it was his turn to ask questions, he even nailed impressions of the women he was quoting.
More 'Real Housewives'? Reports Claim Arizona and Las Vegas Versions in the Works
by Chris Harnick, posted Apr 21st 2011 10:00AM
Ready for more 'Real Housewives'? Well, you better be if these rumors are true!Despite what Andy Cohen said (then backtracked on a tiny bit), more 'Real Housewives' shows are reportedly in works. Forget 'Real Housewives of Toronto' -- these shows are stateside in Las Vegas and Arizona.
A couple of months ago, Bravo honcho Andy Cohen told a magazine there weren't going to be more 'Real Housewives' shows after 'Real Housewives of Miami.' However, when our own Joel Keller asked Cohen about the state of the franchise, he seemed to hedge a bit and said, "... I mean, look, never say never, but I think we're really good right now."
The 'Wives' Are Taking Over! Which Spouses Should TV Document Next?
by Chris Harnick, posted Apr 16th 2011 11:20AM
VH1 premieres its newest reality series, 'Mob Wives,' tomorrow night (April 17, 8PM). Yes, it's a real show! This new "docu-soap" follows the wives and daughters of "alleged" notorious crime bosses on Staten Island. Although their loved ones are locked up, they're still living normal lives ... with a camera crew following them.
'Mob Wives' is just one of a growing number of 'Wives' shows. First, we had ABC's scripted 'Desperate Housewives.' Suddenly, soapy shows with absurd female characters were back in style! Then, Bravo changed the game with a little franchise called 'The Real Housewives.' A soapy reality show featuring absurd real women.
Once that Pandora's Box was open, well, there's been no turning back. We've got 'Basketball Wives,' 'Sister Wives,' rock star wives ('Married to Rock') and 'Wrestler Wives' in the works.
But since there are so many untapped wives markets out there, we decided to help the networks out by compiling a fine list of potential new 'Wives' series we'd like to see. You're welcome, network execs and viewers! Make sure you get the right address for when those residual checks start rolling in ...
Is 'Real Housewives of Toronto' Next?
by Chris Harnick, posted Mar 30th 2011 2:15PM
Remember that time Andy Cohen said 'Real Housewives of Miami' would be the last new addition to the 'Real Housewives' franchise? Well, that might not be the case.According to the Hollywood Reporter, casting is underway for 'Real Housewives of Toronto.' Canada-based Lark Productions is at work on the series, but it has not been given the official green light.
Lark has a deal with NBC Universal, parent company to Bravo, the home of 'The Real Housewives' franchise. The production company is led by former CTV development head Louise Clark.

'The Real Housewives of Orange County' Season 6 Trailer: Divorce, Catfights and Gold Diggers
by Jean Bentley, posted Jan 28th 2011 1:30PM
'The Real Housewives of Orange County' might've been overshadowed by their counterparts in Beverly Hills, Atlanta, New York and New Jersey these past few years, but Bravo's trailer for the newest season of the original Housewives proves they haven't lost their flair for the dramatic just yet.In the one-and-a-half-minute clip, the ladies talk vaginal rejuvenation, the danger of gold diggers (pot, meet kettle) and divorce, then get into fights that would be immature even for high schoolers. Someone actually shouts "Your husband was rude to my husband!" before a shoving match breaks out. Ah, it feels good to be back.
Though Lynne Curtin isn't listed as a full-time cast member, she pops up in the trailer along with former Housewife Jeana Keough. The newbies this season are Peggy Tanous, a stay-at-home-mom-slash-model, and Fernanda Rocha, the first lesbian cast member.
'The Real Housewives of Orange County' season 6 premieres Sun., March 6 at 10PM ET on Bravo. Watch the trailer after the jump.
