'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Looking for New Recruits
by Alex Moaba, posted Aug 9th 2011 12:30PM
'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' is apparently looking to shake up its gang of drama-addicted ladies. According to Millburn-Short Hills Patch, Vinnie Potestivo Entertainment has issued an open casting call to re-stock Andy Cohen's harem of 'Housewives' for Season 4.It's not clear how many new recruits they're looking for, or if this means that any of the beloved and/or hated 'Housewives' are moving on.
In addition to table-throwing, yelling and showing up to parties uninvited, cast-shakeups have been a constant of the 'RHONJ' franchise. Caroline Manzo, Jacqueline Laurita and Teresa Giudice are the only remaining original 'Housewives.' Teresa's sister-in law Melissa Gorga joined the cast for Season 3 along with her cousin Kathy Wakile. Dina Manzo left in the middle of Season 2 and Danielle Staub was not asked back for Season 3.
