'Grey's Anatomy' Musical Episode Recap
by Denise Warner, posted Mar 31st 2011 11:30PM
['Grey's Anatomy' - 'Song Beneath the Song']Let's get what happened in the 'Grey's Anatomy' musical episode out of the way.
Arizona asked a pregnant-with-Mark-Sloane's-child Callie to marry her, but before she could answer, they were hit by a truck.
Dr. Torres was thrown through a windshield, leaving her bloody and clinging to life. (Bad idea to be eating right now!) During the trauma, Callie has an out-of-body experience where she and everyone around her sings. (And inexplicably, when they are not around her, too.)
All the doctors band together -- including Addison, in a random cameo, and the mention of the long lost Dr. Burke -- to save her life and the baby's. She wakes up and says yes to Arizona. Yay.
Now, let's move on to why this may not get the reaction Shonda Rhimes wants.
'South Park' Season 14, Episode 14 Recap
by Brad Trechak, posted Nov 18th 2010 1:45AM
['South Park' - 'Crème Fraiche']Tonight's episode brings us to the end of another season of 'South Park' and Trey Parker and Matt Stone have decided to end the season with a lot of sexual double entendres (or at least more sexual double entendres than usual). With this break, perhaps Matt Stone and Trey Parker will use the time to reflect and create. Perhaps they'll even write a Broadway musical.
It's funny how 'Crème Fraiche' made both food and exercise dirty at the same time. The Food Network became analogous to porn (and indeed, it is sometimes) and the Shake Weight became analogous to ... well, you know. This episode was more overtly sexual but you have to be overtly sexual when the subject of your satire is the sex life of a marriage.
Introducing our reality-free feed

There's no getting around it -- there's a crapload of reality shows on TV. The writers' strike wreaked havoc on television programming as we knew it this year, so not only did returning reality monsters like American Idol and Dancing with the Stars come back, but we were blindsided with new ones; this is a TV website, so we're not going to ignore this enormous elephant in the room. We've gotten some requests for a "reality-free" page, where you won't see any posts related to reality television as posted here on TV Squad. Behold, the Reality-Free page! Like other categories, you can subscribe to that category's RSS feed as well. We've just started using it today, but it will continued to feature any non-reality TV posts from now on.
