The Amazing Race: He Can't Swim But He Can Eat Cow Lips

by Deidre Woollard, posted Nov 6th 2006 7:26AM

Survivor: Episode 4

by Deidre Woollard, posted Feb 24th 2006 12:10AM
The season's Survivor seems to be evolving into the story of two families, the dysfunctional Casaya and the harmonious patriarchy of La Mina. As today's episode begins over at La Mina, the alliance of four guys is deciding whether or not to let Sally the Spear-dropper go with them to the final five.  Over at  Casaya, the men hunt for fish and snails while the women practice yoga, sleep and let the fire fall to ashes (oh and Bobby's napping too). Aras reads everyone the riot act. Aras is beginning to question his alliance of idiocy. Meanwhile Cirie is keenly aware of how fragile the alliance is and is pretty smart about positioning herself as a strong second option.

The reward is for a bathroom and the challenge involves assembling a floating puzzle. Once again the challenge is really close. For a tribe that is pretty disordered, Casaya manages to man up when the prize is on the line. They chose to send Terry to Exile Island. Good move, without their head the tribe is a flailing body not sure where to move first. They can't keep the fire going, they are starving and listless. Terry's exile gives him a chance to look for the hidden idol which he does and easily retrieves it. It seems like he is pretty unstoppable at least until the merge.
