by Jason Hughes, posted Dec 13th 2011 2:00AM
Taylor Swift, 'T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle'When he received an invitation to perform with Taylor Swift at one of her concerts, T.I. was conflicted. On 'T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle' (Mon., 9PM ET on VH1), he talked about how such an appearance might impact his "street cred."

He was just days out of prison when Swift invited him to join her Atlanta concert. While he wrestled with a dilemma, saying, "The dilemma becomes street cred [or] Hollywood." He even went so far as to think about some people calling such an appearance "career suicide."

But T.I. decided to do it, though he was still cautious to make sure he kept it clean for this performance. "I could see the headline now," he said. "T.I. corrupts the minds of 20,000 youngsters at the Taylor Swift concert."

Top Three Revealed on 'Top Chef Just Desserts' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 20th 2011 6:30AM
'Top Chef: Just Desserts'This week proved to be such a fun challenge, we went straight to the elimination challenge on 'Top Chef: Just Desserts' (Wed., 10PM ET on Bravo). Each of the four finalists was asked to pick a country, and then tasked with making a dessert that looked like a dish from that country.

By dish, of course, the judges meant a main course, so they had to disguise their desserts as traditional meals. What a brilliant challenge to really see who's a master of desserts. And it proved tough for the competitors.

Cassi, 'Big Brother 13'After Dominic saved his own skin in the Power of Veto competition, Jordan put up Cassi and Shelly for Eviction. This meant yet another newbie would definitely be going home on this week's 'Big Brother' (Thu., 8PM ET on CBS), making the Head of Household competition more critical than ever.

Jordan may not be happy with her decision to stand by her alliance with Rachel and Brendon, but she did, leaving Shelly and Cassi no choice but to fight for themselves. Cassi, however, decided to take the direct approach and talk to Rachel and Brendon about what happened between them.

'America's Next Top Model' Cycle 16, Season Premiere Recap

by Alaina O'Connor, posted Feb 24th 2011 1:30AM
['America's Next Top Model' - 'Erin Wasson']

Welcome to cycle 16 of 'America's Next Top Model.
It's hard to believe that there's been this many seasons of a show that Tyra Banks still manages to make all about her. Case in point: Tyra's caricatures of various girls from past seasons at the beginning of the episode and her spending way too much time pointing out the couture T-shirt she was wearing. Oh, Tyra. It's OK. We get it.

From the very first moments of the premiere episode, Tyra wanted to make it clear that this cycle was different from the others. First off, this wasn't just any old premiere episode. This time around there was no casting week. I'll repeat that; NO CASTING WEEK. This is a first in 'Top Model' history and quite frankly, I was relieved. It's not that there's anything particularly wrong with casting week, but attempting to generate drama from a few girls who will ultimately stand little to no chance of making it seems like a waste of time.

Ashley Sullivan's 'American Idol' Audition: A Whole Can of Crazy (VIDEO)

by Elizabeth Chan, posted Jan 19th 2011 11:30PM
It's not uncommon to watch contestants put forth their showbiz dreams in their auditions, but it seems that the state of New Jersey has opened up a can of crazy as far as 'American Idol' auditions go.

Ashley Sullivan aspires to be the first "showtunes pop star." (Has anyone told her this has been done already, as in 'Glee' or Liza Minnelli?)

But Ashley's got the drive and, frankly, disturbing desperation, to prove it. Check out her Britney Spears kind of 'Crazy' in the video below.

'American Idol' airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8PM ET on Fox

There's a Red and Blue State of Affairs on 'Top Chef' (VIDEO)

by AOL TV Staff, posted Jun 23rd 2010 10:42PM
Togetherness can be a virtue -- but not necessarily on 'Top Chef' (Wed., 9PM ET on Bravo).

The show welcomed assistant White House chef Sam Kass to host an unusual challenge that caused an uproar in the kitchen.

Host Padma Lakshmi laid out the ground rules. "A successful government is bipartisan," she said. "So you'll be competing in a 'Top Chef' bipartisanwich" contest. But there was one more thing -- double aprons, meaning contestants had to pair up, with each using only one hand.

"I suggest you leave your egos at the door, forget about taking credit, and just get to work," Kass said. Kinda like Congress?

Brandy Gets Worked Up at Dinner Looking Out for Her Brother (VIDEO)

by AOL TV Staff, posted Jun 21st 2010 6:48PM
Business dinners sometimes just aren't fun.

Brandy is concerned that her little brother Ray J will get a fair shake with his recording deal and goes to bat for him at dinner in Sunday's episode of 'Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business' (Sundays, 9PM ET on VH1), making sure that there will be someone to represent his best interests -- whether he wants that or not -- at the label. "Blood is thicker than water," she says.

As the conversation progresses, Brandy gets a little heated up -- but keeps eating.

Erin Triumphs With Fergie Cover on 'The City' (VIDEO)

by Harley W. Lond, posted May 19th 2010 6:47PM
Olivia and Erin have very different ideas on how to dress Fergie for an Elle cover shoot, leaving creative director Joe Zee in the middle, in the latest episode of 'The City' (Tue., 10PM ET on MTV).

Everyone seems to support Olivia's cover, with Fergie in black bra, hot pants and jacket, and with jewelry. Erin prefers the more conservative approach, highlighting Fergie's natural beauty. But Joe thinks that the ensemble works, especially the jewelry. "You don't think the diamonds made the cover?" he asks Erin. "I think Fergie's body made the cover." In the end, Erin's cover wins out. Which do you prefer?
