More on the Strangers with Candy movie
by Adam Finley, posted Feb 7th 2006 1:30PM
I mentioned recently that the movie version of Strangers with
Candy would in fact see the light
of day after all. Of course, there wasn't much information at the time other than Amy Sedaris' alleged
announcement, but Martha over at Cinematical uncovered a
bit more. The movie will be released by ThinkFilm, an independent distributor. Originally the movie, which is produced
by David Letterman's Worldwide Pants, was to be distributed by Warner Independent Pictures, but the
filmmakers switched to ThinkFilm due to "rights clearance issues." Well whatever, the movie is
coming out, albeit in limited release, and I'm stoked. So stoked, in fact, that I'm using out-of-date slang. That's how
totally boss this movie is going to be. Word up.TV Squad Hot Topics
