Rene Russo on Her First Love Scene With Michael Keaton on 'Kimmel' (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted May 3rd 2011 4:56AM
There's nothing more awkward and yet eagerly anticipated by the public sometimes than a big Hollywood sex scene. On 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (Weeknights, 12AM ET on ABC), Rene Russo was presented with a list of her on-screen lovers and then asked if one was more memorable.First of all, Russo is still a working actress, and the list included men who were still working as well, so she had to be careful how she addressed the question. So instead, she deftly avoided it altogether and instead talked about her first ever love scene.
It was with Michael Keaton, and based on her story, it was almost a lot more realistic than the director would have intended. She had no idea how to film a sex scene, after all.
Rene Russo Was Hot for Her On-Screen Son Chris Hemsworth in 'Thor' (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Apr 28th 2011 4:38AM
After Rene Russo's appearance on 'The Tonight Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM on NBC), there's a whole new reason to go to theaters and see 'Thor' when it comes out May 6, 2011. Apparently, Russo struggled in a certain way to play the role of the title character's mother, Frigga."The guy looks like he eats superheroes for breakfast," she told Jay Leno's audience. She was so enraptured with talking about how yummy Chris Hemsworth was, she ignored the host and didn't seem to realize the film had come out yet, asking the audience if they'd seen him in that yet.
"Where's the love scene?" she asked.
Right now on Cinematical

The folks at our sister site Cinematical are working hard to give you news and reviews of the best -- and worst -- the silver screen has to offer. Here are some of their musings on the latest blockbusters, indies, and everything in between:
- G.I. Joe may have won the weekend box office, but when I was at my local theater on Saturday afternoon, I didn't hear one person in line ask for tickets to see it. So why did people stay away? Check out the review here.
- Cinematical is asking a lot of questions this weekend. The first of which is, what is your favorite John Hughes memory?
- Also, What happened to Rene Russo? I can't think of anything offhand that I've seen her in since The Thomas Crown Affair.
- How can Barbarella not be campy? Cinematical explains-- kinda.
- I saw the trailer for It's Complicated in front of Julie and Julia this weekend. It stars Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin, and makes me hope that there will be more movies for the over-50 crowd. Cinematical seems to be cautiously optimistic about it.
Will Kristen Bell and Rob Thomas reunite on new project?
by Allison Waldman, posted Apr 2nd 2008 9:22AM
Will it be the magic again? You've gotta hope so... According to Watch with Kristin on E!online, there's a good chance that the Veronica Mars team of Kristen Bell and Rob Thomas will be working together again. In a recent chat with Kristin, Kristen (that's Ms. Bell -- check the spelling) has been talking with Rob about the possibility of another series. It would be great if they were talking about bringing Veronica back, but that's apparently not meant to be. Only fans like us, we see that that is what we'd want most of all, but it ain't happening.
