Surprise Proposal on 'The Millionaire Matchmaker' Reunion Special (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Dec 7th 2011 2:00AM
'The Millionaire Matchmaker'If ever Patti Stanger wanted validation that she was good at what she does, she certainly got it on the second part of 'The Millionaire Matchmaker' (Tue., 9PM ET on Bravo) reunion special. Unbeknownst to her or host Andy Cohen, one of her client bachelors had an agenda all his own.

"Baby, I love you with all my heart," David said to Ayla, the woman Stanger set him up with, before dropping to one knee. He then took out a gorgeous diamond ring and asked her to marry him.

In the background, Stanger and Cohen were as speechless as Ayla was, and perhaps nearly as overjoyed when she emphatically said yes. "I've waited for a guy who would be as nice as my father is, and he's everything and more," Ayla said a few minutes later, beaming with her fiance by her side.

Andy Cohen Tries to Set Patti Stanger Up on 'Millionaire Matchmaker' Reunion (VIDEO)

'The Millionaire Matchmaker' reunion specialBecause Andy Cohen will host a reunion of anything, he presided over 'The Millionaire Matchmaker' (Tue., 9PM ET on Bravo) reunion special. And in it, he decided to take on Patti Stanger's job, only Patti was going to be his client.

When a viewer wrote in asking about former client Marcellus asking Patti on a date, Marcellus was clearly interested. As expected, Patti deflected and started talking about another woman she knew, but Cohen wasn't going to let it die that easily.

"I kind of like the idea of the two of you together," he said, pulling them back to the topic at hand. Patti said she'd try it, though she didn't seem to believe it could work out between the two of them. One thing was absolutely for certain, Marcellus was interested.

Caroline Insists Teresa Was Never Her Friend on 'Housewives' Reunion (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 24th 2011 6:45AM
Caroline Manzo, 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey'It was another hour of reunion-time fun with most of the cast of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' (Sun., 10PM ET on Bravo). We still don't know why Jacqueline Laurita wasn't there, other than that it happened during filming for next season. But we do know that Caroline Manzo is sad about that.

She's not, however, sad about the seeming collapse of her friendship with Teresa Giudice. She's emotional about family, who are there for you no matter what, and she's emotional about whatever went down with Jacqueline, but now she's decided Teresa was never even her friend.

Mike and Snooki Still Arguing on 'Jersey Shore' Reunion Special (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 21st 2011 5:30AM
'Jersey Shore' ReunionNow that everyone's back from Italy, things have largely settled down for the kids. On the 'Jersey Shore Reunion' (Thu., 10PM ET on MTV), they were mostly able to laugh off their Italian adventures, but there's definitely still some tension between Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino and Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi.

They bickered like school children, each trying to out-dog the other with burns and insults throughout the show. The other castmembers didn't help, shouting oohs and aahs with each successive insult.

They still can't agree with what happened between them sexually, but when trying to talk about her frustration at how Mike had treated her, Nicole certainly chose the wrong words.

Ryan Talks About Maci's Boyfriend Kyle on 'Teen Mom' Reunion (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 5th 2011 6:30AM
Kyle, Maci & Ryan, 'Teen Mom' ReunionIn the second of the two-part reunion special for 'Teen Mom' (Tue., 10PM ET on MTV), Dr. Drew talked with the two men in Maci's life, her boyfriend Kyle and the Ryan, who's the father of her child.

As you might expect in such a situation, the two didn't get along very well at first. Ryan admitted that a lot of the negative perceptions he had of Kyle had formed before he even met him. But he committed to giving him a fair shake, and after meeting him, he did text Maci and admit that Kyle was "a good dude."

That's not to say that negative things haven't been said back and forth, but it's inevitable when you have two different personalities and a child in the mix. The important thing is that even though they're still not friends, according to Ryan, there's at least a respect there.

Jeff Lewis Catches Trace in a Lie on the 'Flipping Out' Reunion (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 14th 2011 3:32AM
'Flipping Out'Even though they were fired during the regular season run of 'Flipping Out' (Tue., 9PM ET on Bravo). Sarah and Trace were brought back for the reunion. But if Trace thought he was going to be able to air any grievances he has toward Jeff Lewis, he was mistaken.

Instead, Jeff immediately called him out on a lie and then went to town. Andy Cohen asked if Trace was in touch with any of his former clients from when he worked for Jeff. Doing so would put him in breach of contract.

When Trace said no, Jeff called him on the lie immediately, citing a client by name he'd been in contact with multiple times. With the camera on Trace's face, we could see the wheels spinning as he tried to come up with a way to talk his way out of the lie, but it ultimately didn't work.

Jenn Blows Up at Laurel on 'The Challenge: Rivals' Reunion (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 1st 2011 3:35AM
'The Challenge: Rivals'Because you demanded it -- Why would you do that? -- the cast of 'The Challenge: Rivals' (Wed., 10PM ET on MTV) was back for a reunion sit-down with Maria Menounos so they could yell at each other some more. Why has this become a staple of these reality shows?

We get that it's sometimes nice to see where things stand now, but these shows never really get into that. Instead, they rehash old beef and try to stir up drama to milk another week of ratings out of whatever reality hit spawned them.

Considering this season of 'The Challenge' had conflict built in to the 'Rivals' format, it was inevitable that some fighting would ensue, and Jenn was determined not to let the viewers down, so she lit into Laurel, who stayed calm and aloof throughout the whole encounter.

Jennifer Repeats Herself a Lot Fighting With Royce on 'Basketball Wives' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Aug 23rd 2011 1:52AM
'Basketball Wives Reunion'I've never understood the desire to say the same thing over and over again in rapid succession during an argument. Jennifer does it here on this reunion of the 'Basketball Wives' (Mon., 8PM ET on VH1). The idea, apparently, is to keep repeating what you're saying in an attempt to drown out the other person who is talking.

But it never works out that way. In this instance, when Royce interrupted Jennifer's tirade about Royce taking her opinion to Twitter, Jennifer retorted to saying, "I'm talking!" over and over and over again.

It didn't even slow Royce down. "I don't give a damn if you talking because what you saying is s***," she shouted. "And your a** is jealous of the s*** that's coming out of your damned mouth."

Evelyn Yells at Meeka and Her Earring Designer on 'Basketball Wives' Reunion (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Aug 16th 2011 12:42AM
Evelyn Lozada, 'Basketball Wives'If you thought the 'Basketball Wives' (Mon., 8PM ET on VH1) were going to be more civil on their reunion special, you clearly haven't been following the show. Evelyn in particular was in rare form, calling out Meeka for her fashion sense, accusing her of stealing her look from the other wives.

The argument settled on Meeka's earrings, which she insisted were custom-designed. She even had the designer in the audience. But even that wasn't enough to sway Evelyn, who turned and started accusing the designer of stealing the designs.

When the designer tried to defend herself, Evelyn dismissed her like gutter trash, calling for security and yelling at her to get off the stage with all kinds of colorful terms. See, it works like this. Evelyn can call you out as a cheat and a liar, but don't you dare speak back to her!

'Bad Girls Club' Season Finale: Body Blows, Silly String, and One Last Brawl (VIDEO)

by Oliver Miller, posted Nov 24th 2010 10:30AM
'Bad Girls Club' Reunion Finale: Body Blows, Silly String, and One Last Brawl Previously, on part one of the 'Bad Girls Club' reunion -- the girls got in a fight. " ... But that's all that ever happens on 'Bad Girls Club,'" you're saying to yourself.

True, but this is why we watch the show. It's as reliable as an old grandfather clock. And it's oddly comforting to know that -- no matter what -- these ladies will always be screaming insults and pulling each others' hair.

Still, that was just part one of the reunion. Tonight's season finale (Tue., 10PM ET on Oxygen) was part two, and in honor of that ... the girls got into another fight. But this one involved silly string! And if you're not "into" watching sexy young women roll around in tight dresses, while being sprayed with silly string -- well, you're a very strong and moral person, and we salute you.

The exact cause of tonight's fight was vague. It had something to do with Lea getting mad at Kristen ... for spray-painting her room in the 'Bad Girl' house ... a really long time ago. Lea wanted to know if Kristen thought she was a "bad b*tch" for doing this. "I want to know!!!" she yelled.

'Bad Girls Club': A Reunion Leads to Hair Pulling, and More (VIDEO)

by Oliver Miller, posted Nov 17th 2010 12:35AM
'Bad Girls Club': A Reunion Leads to Hairpulling, and More'Bad Girls Club' (Tue., 9PM ET on Oxygen) had the first part of its two-part reunion special tonight. And it went about as well as ... a reunion for a show called 'Bad Girls Club' could go. By "well," we of course mean "badly." Tempers flare, curses fly around the room -- and one girl's hairpiece goes flying as well.

On the reunion (hosted by Perez Hilton), angry words lead to a physical fight between the girls. Though if you needed that explained to you, you've never seen the show before. "Angry words leading to a physical fight" is pretty much all that ever happens on the series.

To kick things off, Kristen confronts Kayleigh about being fake, while the rest of the girls glare at each other from the fancy "reunion show" couches. ... Well, Kayleigh isn't about to stand for being called fake! Although the general accusation is a little hilarious in a room filled with this many hair weaves and fake breasts.

'227' Cast: Where Are They Now

by Chris Jordan, posted Mar 3rd 2010 11:00AM
227 castWhere is the '227' cast now? NBC's 'Today' show stopped off at '227' today during its Classic TV Families Reunion Week. While the address might not be immediately familiar to some, it's significant as the series was one of the few '80s shows to feature an African-American cast.

'227,' which ran from 1985 to 1990, starred Marla Gibbs, who at that point was known best as the sassy maid from 'The Jeffersons.' Gibbs played a mom in a Washington, D.C. middle class neighborhood, while sexy Jackée Harry became the series' breakout star and the late Helen Martin had the best lines.

What's the cast up to now? Find out after the jump.

Mother and Daughter Reunited on 'Oprah' After 42 Years (VIDEO)

by Jane Boursaw, posted Feb 18th 2010 11:05PM
Oprah, 42-year reunion, birth motherOn 'Oprah' (weekdays, syndicated), a woman was reunited with her daughter after 42 years – 42 years! These reunion shows can be sweet, because sometimes all it takes is that one moment they meet to bring people back together again.

We're not sure we'd want the whole thing captured on national television, because it's such a private thing. But maybe it'll give others hope of finding their lost relatives, too.

Or ... in the case of kids given up for adoption, is it better to not delve into the past? After all, it's their adoptive parents who raised them. Sound off with your thoughts.

Watch the video after the jump.

NCIS: Reunion

by Allison Waldman, posted Sep 30th 2009 12:35AM
After last week's action packed NCIS, you might think that tonight's episode would be more sedate. Not really. There was a gruesome murder scene at the open, and plenty of mystery involving a cop who was out for revenge, but all that was a backdrop for something far more interesting. Ziva's return to the fold. More after the jump.

Mackenzie Phillips was high during One Day at a Time reunion

by Bob Sassone, posted Sep 24th 2009 1:07PM
Like you, I wanted to take a shower and pour bleach into my ears after hearing what Mackenzie Phillips had to say on Oprah yesterday (thanks Oprah). But one of the interesting revelations that has come out of all of this is that Phillips had done heroin and was high during a One Day at a Time reunion on Today last year. Here's the clip from that episode.

Bonus: I didn't realize that One Day at a Time was based on the life of Meredith Baxter's family.
