Two very unique comedies will get a time slot on an equally unique cable network.

Conan O'Brien's "Conaco" production company and actor Rob Corrdry both scored spots on Adult Swim for two new live-action sitcoms.

O'Brien's company won a spot for Eagleheart, a show about a fading TV star who wins a chance for glory once more on a production in Texas, but constantly clashes with the low-level TV exec in charge of the show.

Corrdry's medical drama spoof web series Childrens' Hospital will also go to Adult Swim. The channel will show re-edited versions of the episodes that aired on TheWB.com as well as produce new ones. Corrdry originally pitched the show to Comedy Central, but negotiations broke down with the network, probably because the show didn't have enough bimbo strippers and shirtless fat guys to fill their quota (cough, Secret Girlfriend, cough).

According to this The Daily Show community post (I know these people... I trust they're legit), Samantha Bee and husband Jason Jones (both correspondents on the show) just welcomed a new baby to the world very recently. Phew! It's about time! It feels like she's been pregnant forever...

 No specifics on the date or weight or anything like that, but there's a name: Piper Bee-Jones. Absolutely adorable, indeed. Samantha Bee's last appearance on the show (complete with her lovely pregnant belly) was on the 15th of last month and Jason Jones' was on the 5th of January... I'm assuming that the baby arrived sometime between Jones' appearance and yesterday but it's a tough call (if it happened yesterday or today, I think Jon Stewart will bring it up during tonight's episode... He usually seems quite keen on congratulating his colleagues on-air).

Apparently, Rob Corddry and his wife (who recently appeared on the show during a segment where Rob tried to rid his fantasy of having a threesome) are expecting too! A big congratulations to all of them.
