Remembering His Life and Legacy on 'A Tribute to Ryan Dunn' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Nov 29th 2011 6:30AM
'A Tribute to Ryan Dunn'Ryan Dunn made a lot of people laugh with all of the crazy stunts he did on 'Jackass' and its various spin-off shows for MTV. So the network, along with his friends, family and castmates, presented 'A Tribute to Ryan Dunn' (Mon., 10:30PM ET on MTV), featuring a look at his life and rise to fame, as well as never-before-seen stunts.

There was also a cautionary element to the story; Dunn died in a drunk driving incident. Had he not been drinking, he'd likely be alive today, and that wasn't lost on Johnny Knoxville in his remembrance. But mostly, his friends and loved ones were joyful that he was happy with his love and his life, even if it did come to an end far too soon.

MTV Gives Rob Dyrdek's 'Ridiculousness' a Second Season

by Crystal Bell, posted Oct 17th 2011 6:30PM
Looks like MTV loves Rob Dyrdek's 'Ridiculousness' just as much as teenage boys do.

The network has renewed the funny viral video series for a second season. 'Ridiculousness' joins 'Awkward' and 'Teen Wolf' as a breakout hit for the network.

'Ridiculousness' averages 1.9 million viewers per week, a 1.8 rating in the network's target 12-34 demographic and is the network's second-highest rated show on the men 12-34 demographic, behind 'Jersey Shore.' The amateur viral video show also ranks second across all television in the 12-34 demo in its Monday night 10PM time slot.

EXCLUSIVE: Rob Dyrdek's 'Ridiculousness' On Drunk Stair Climbing (VIDEO)

by Maggie Furlong, posted Sep 2nd 2011 1:30PM
RidiculousnessFalling down the stairs is no laughing matter ... unless it happens to someone else, that someone is silly drunk and it's all been captured on video and posted online.

Then? Laugh away.

That's what Rob Dyrdek and co. are doing in this exclusive clip from next week's episode of 'Ridiculousness' (Mondays, 10PM ET on MTV), and really, how can you blame them? They see a lot of videos that are worthy of some mocking analysis, but this tipsy toppler actually has the perfect excuse for why she can't quite make it upstairs.

It's not that's she's drunk. It's not her high heels. It's the stairs. Obviously. Watch and enjoy!

One thing this clip doesn't show: guest star Johnny Knoxville, who'll be stopping by on Monday to join in on the fun.

by Maggie Furlong, posted Aug 10th 2011 3:30PM
Rob Dyrdek's 'Ridiculousness'What's a scorpion? No, not the creepy crawly poisonous insect, but rather the back-bending, spine-twisting position one finds themselves in mid-accident.

Need an example? Look no further than this exclusive clip from Rob Dyrdek's new MTV clip show 'Ridiculousness.' Dyrdek is no stranger to stunts gone awry, but his new show highlights the craziest catastrophes on the Web in a way that only he can.

In this preview, a track and field event turns "owww"-inducing when someone goes full scorpion, and the freeze-framed pose just so happens to mirror the show's klutzy logo exactly.

Check out this sneak peek of what you'll see when the show premieres Mon., Aug. 29, 10PM ET on MTV.

by Maggie Furlong, posted Jun 29th 2011 1:45PM
If you watch MTV at all, then you're already familiar with pro skateboarder Rob Dyrdek's unique brand of comedy. Now, the guy behind 'Rob & Big' and 'Fantasy Factory' is getting even more ridiculous.

We've got an exclusive sneak peek at Dyrdek's new MTV show 'Ridiculousness' (premieres Mon., Aug. 29, 10PM ET), which finds Dyrdek giving his honest commentary and energetic spin on some hilarious amateur viral videos.

Dyrdek takes those clips and makes a full 30-minute TV show out of them, with segments like 'Redneck Good Times,' 'Worst Case Scenario,' 'Pop Stuck,' 'Hot Mess,' 'What Happened Last Night' and, my favorite, 'Ridiculousness in Training.'

Complete with a studio audience, expect some of Dyrdek's closest friends to stop by the show as well, joining him and co-hosts Sterline "Steelo" Brim and Chanel "West Coast," the rapping receptionist from 'Fantasy Factory.'

Justin Bieber on 'Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory'Rob Dyrdek has a special present for Justin Bieber in the season premiere of 'Fantasy Factory' (Mon., 10:30PM ET on MTV). But before he receives the mystery gift hidden under a large tarp, the teen superstar must prove he's "crazy enough to have it."

Bieber happily obliges with various stunts on wheels. He grabs a bicycle and launches up a ramp into the foam pit. Next, Dyrdek drives a go-cart at high speed toward the foam pit. Bieber skateboards close behind him, hanging on to a rope attached to the back of the cart. Dyrdek veers off just before the ramp, and Bieber soars up and into the pit. "You're makin' me so proud right now!" shouts Dyrdek.

His last feat is to jump the go-cart itself into the foam pit. Easy. His prize? A suped up three-wheel go-cart personalized with the Bieb's initials.
