Alan Thicke Uses Son's Music for Romance (VIDEO)
by Donald Deane, posted Mar 17th 2010 12:00PM
Okay, we get that Robin Thicke makes sexy music, but when father Alan Thicke uses it to set a romantic mood, that's just creepy. Thicke admitted he uses his son's music to inspire love on 'Today' (weekdays, 7AM ET on NBC). Here's hoping he was kidding."Ordinarily, when you're getting your cuddle on, you wouldn't want to hear your son's voice ... That's usually the enemy of love, when you hear a kid's voice," Thicke said. "But, in this case, it is romantic ... It's a mood-setter."

Leighton Meester Debuts 'Somebody to Love' Music Video
by Rebecca Paiement, posted Nov 12th 2009 1:48PM
Leighton Meester gives her splashy 'Gossip Girl' wardrobe a run for its money in her new music video for the single 'Somebody to Love.' With an album due out in the end of this year or early 2010, actress-turned-pop diva Meester writhes around in the back of a limo and on various couches with the stubbly-faced R&B sensation and Grammy winner, Robin Thicke.
Recently featured in Cobra Starship's single 'Good Girls Go Bad' -- which peaked at number seven on the Billboard Hot 100, Meester inked a deal in April 2009 with Universal Republic to create a mostly electronic CD, with producers like RedOne, J.R. Rotem and 'American Idol''s Kara DioGuardi.
Dancing with the Stars: Week 8 Results

(S08E15) I finally learned my lesson and turned the channel at the minute before the top of the hour. I was rewarded with the Team Tango dance. I was dreading the group week, because I thought that whichever team got Ty, it would have been a crutch. I was wrong; there was no Susan Lucci this year. The synchronicity of the end sequence is great to see.Tonight's recap pointed out two odd things I never noticed: 1) There was a woman's head that blocked part of the judge's table; if I were the producers, I'd ask her to move. 2) Bruno sniffed Ty's shirt when he took it off during the Team Tango. More odd nuances after the jump.
How I Met Your Mother: Sandcastles in the Sand - VIDEOS

(S03E16) Bless the peapickin' little hearts of Carter Bays and Craig Thomas. All week, they've been setting us up, telling us about the return of Robin Sparkles, saying that we were going to get an episode full of eighties and nineties goodness, complete with James Van Der Beek, Tiffany, and Alan Thicke. We even got a video (full video is after the end of the review) as a taste. But all of it was a ruse. A week-long ruse to distract us from realizing what was really going to happen in this episode. Since I don't want to spoil it for anyone, come with me to the after-jump portion of our review and then we can talk.
