'Daily Show' Producer Rory Albanese Talks Sexism and Answers Reader Questions

A few weeks back, we gave you, the TV Squad community, the opportunity to ask 'The Daily Show With Jon Stewart' executive producer Rory Albanese anything you wanted about the inner workings of the popular, subversive faux-news show. Thanks to everyone who wrote in with their questions.

As promised, Albanese has returned with answers, serious and otherwise, to everything from how montages are put together to accusations of sexism at the show to the producer's average day.

Apologies to those who didn't get their questions answered but cut the guy some slack; it takes time to come up with brilliance four nights a week.

For many, watching 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart' has become a nightly ritual on par with brushing your teeth. The show's insightful mix of sarcasm and satire is one of the few programs that directly calls out politicians (on both sides), the media and anyone else whose hypocrisy outweighs their efficiency, while never forgetting that the program is, first and foremost, a comedy show.

Executive Producer Rory Albanese is one of the reasons you laugh as hard as you do four nights a week. The 33-year old has been juggling the dual jobs of 'Daily Show' employee and stand-up comedian for over a decade and recently released his first 'Comedy Central Presents' special.

While the Emmy award-winning producer is currently hard at work on a film script with 'Daily Show' correspondent John Oliver, he agreed to take some time to answer some reader questions.
