With 'How to Be a Gentleman' tanking so badly CBS yanked it from Saturdays as well, 'Rules of Engagement' (Thu., 8:30PM ET on CBS) was upgraded to the sweet post-'Big Bang' slot on Thursday nights. And just in time for the premiere. We'll see if it fares any better. For their Season 6 premiere, we were surprised with the announcement of another engagement. Actually, it looks like Russell skipped that step altogether and married crazy cat-neighbor Liz from upstairs, who was on that cruise with him.

Bianca Kajlich Talks About Her Topless Scene in '30 Minutes or Less' (VIDEO)
by Nick Zaino, posted Aug 1st 2011 2:45PM
Bianca Kajlich plays a stripper named "Juicy" in the new film '30 Minutes or Less,' a role that's a tad more revealing than Jennifer on 'Rules of Engagement.' But her co-star Danny McBride helped put her at ease when they were filming the topless scene, even though they had to shoot it two different ways, said Kajlich on 'Access Hollywood Live' (weekdays, syndicated on NBC)."Danny McBride is such a professional," she said of filming her risque scene with the actor. "He's such a fun, great guy and he made it totally comfortable. And it was fun." Billy Bush was a little suspicious of McBride, wondering if the film was an elaborate plot to see Kajlich nude. "Suspiciously, we actually shot it two different ways, so we had to do double the takes," Kajlich said.
CBS Announces 2011-2012 Schedule
by Jean Bentley, posted May 18th 2011 9:20AM
It's CBS's turn to shake things up with its fall schedule, which the network just announced this morning.'CSI' is finally getting the boot from its longtime Thursday night time slot in favor of the J.J. Abrams-produced 'Person of Interest,' while 'The Good Wife' is getting transferred from Tuesdays at 10PM to the highly competitive Sundays at 9PM slot.
The network's two new comedies will both get their shots after established shows, with '2 Broke Girls' airing after 'How I Met Your Mother' on Mondays and 'How to Be a Gentleman' landing post-'Big Bang Theory' on Thursdays. Interestingly, 'Rules of Engagement' is being pushed to Saturday nights.
CBS is saving the Robert De Niro-produced cop drama 'The 2-2' for mid-season (hopefully with a better name).
The full fall schedule is after the jump.

Timmy Translates Russell's Date on 'Rules of Engagement' From Beginning to Awkward Ending (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Mar 11th 2011 1:35AM
There's been a whole industry created on the inability of men and women to communicate. Russell didn't have the problem of being from different planets than his date on 'Rules of Engagement' (Thu., 8:30PM on CBS). It was only different countries. That's not much of a barrier when you aren't looking for much of a commitment. All he needed to do was corral Timmy into joining him on the date as a translator and they'll be set. What could go wrong?
Well, first you might want to feed your translator. So you can avoid comments like, "I hope she can hear me over the sound of my stomach eating its own lining."
How Will Charlie Sheen's Firing Affect the Other CBS Sitcoms?
by Joel Keller, posted Mar 8th 2011 4:00PM
Even before CBS and Warner Brothers lowered the boom on Charlie Sheen yesterday, firing him from 'Two and a Half Men,' the Eye network was already showing evidence that they were planning Life After Sheen. The two-season renewal of 'How I Met Your Mother,' announced hours before the Sheen firing, was the first sign that CBS might be scrambling to ensure its comedy lineup can go on without 'Men' -- or at least 'Men' as we've known it for eight seasons -- on the schedule. According to Deadline, the per-episode licensing fee CBS is paying to Fox is $3.3 million, a healthy raise from their last deal and quite a price to pay for a show that's already passed its 100th episode.
But with the future of 'Men' uncertain, this may not be the first CBS sitcom that benefits from this whole Sheen mess. A look at who stands to gain and why after the jump.
David Spade Fears Competing With 'American Idol' (VIDEO)
by Donald Deane, posted Feb 24th 2011 1:30PM
David Spade discusses the move of his sitcom 'Rules of Engagement' from Monday to Thursday on 'The Early Show' (weekdays, 7AM ET on CBS). In particular, he seems uneasy going up against the 'American Idol' juggernaut on the same night."Thursday was good until I heard about stupid 'American Idol' and that's on against us. So, I was nervous," Spade said.
Oliver Hudson Talks About Fame and Family on 'The Talk' (VIDEO)
by Nick Zaino, posted Feb 22nd 2011 5:45PM
Audiences mostly know Oliver Hudson from the sitcom 'Rules of Engagement,' but his kids still know him simply as Dad. Hudson can sympathize with having famous parents. He told the panel on 'The Talk' (syndicated on CBS) today about an experience when he was a kid with his mother, Goldie Hawn, on the set of the movie 'Protocol.'Hudson would have been about 7 or 8 when the 1984 film, was being shot (though he said he thought he was about 11). He said he remembers getting a startling surprise when he found a woman who he thought was his mother. "I grab her leg to tell her something, and she turns around, and it's her stand-in," he said.
That moment, he said, was seared into his memory, and it was "like a horror film" when the woman turned around. Could have been worse. She could have been filming 'Death Becomes Her.'

'Rules of Engagement' -- Sex With the Surrogate (VIDEO)
by Oliver Miller, posted Sep 20th 2010 11:45PM
Having a baby can be harder than it looks. Or at least, the process can be difficult in sitcoms and comedies that focus on how hard it is to have a baby. For instance, there's 'Rules of Engagement' (Mon., 8:30PM ET on CBS). The show began its fifth season tonight, and Jeff and Audrey Bingham (played by Patrick Warburton and Megyn Price) are attempting to have a kid of their own. They're looking into adoption, fertility treatments, and finding a surrogate mother.Pam (guest star Jaime Pressly) is the couple's first choice as their potential surrogate. But that's before she runs into Russell (David Spade, playing the traditional "David Spade as a horny jerk" character). Russell tries to seduce Pam as soon as she leaves the Binghams' apartment. Not good.
