Trista Sutter Talks 'Bachelorette' Regrets on 'Rachael Ray' (VIDEO)

by Donald Deane, posted Jan 4th 2011 1:45PM
Trista Sutter's biggest 'Bachelorette' regret is not telling front-runner (and future husband) Ryan that she loved him and meant to choose him during the show's final rose ceremony. Because of his uncertainty, Ryan nearly left the show, Trista said on 'Rachael Ray' (weekdays, syndicated).

Trista Sutter Talks to Inside TV About Staying Together With Ryan

by Nicholas White, posted Dec 16th 2009 7:29PM
As another 'Bachelor' contestant found love this week (when Melissa Rycroft got married) off the TV show, it was a reminder of how tough finding love on reality TV can be.

The most famous example of longevity is the six-year marriage of Ryan and Trista Sutter, who met on ABC's 'The Bachelorette' in 2002. While many other reality romances have perished (with a few notable exceptions), the Sutters, who have two kids, Max, 2, and Blakesley, 8 months, are still together, living in Colorado.

While the couple keeps its distance from the glaring lights of Hollywood, Trista caught up with Inside TV at Tuesday's JCPenney "Joy of Giving" party in West Hollywood, and talked about how she and Ryan keep their marriage solid, the "hard work" behind it, and building a house.

'Bachelor' and 'Bachelorette' Couples: Who's Still Together?

by Ji Hyun Lee, posted Dec 3rd 2009 3:25PM
Reality Show Couples: Who's Still Going Strong? jason meznick, molly malaney, the bachelor, the bacheloretteHave reality dating shows forgotten their mission?

Couples have been entering and exiting the revolving doors of 'The Bachelor' and 'The Bachelorette' asking, "what's love got to do with it?" Not much apparently, because 15 out of 18 couples have broken up after the show wrapped.

According to US Magazine, the latest couple to call it quits is season 6 bachelor Byron Velvick and his fiancée, Mary Delgado. The pair had a dreamy on-camera courtship but off-camera their five-year relationship was tumultuous: Delgado was arrested in 2007 for assaulting Velvick after a 'Bachelor' reunion show. So if these casualties of television induced romances are any indication, on-camera dating is no way to find true love.

The Bachelorette couple has a baby boy

trista; ryan; the bacheloretteTrista and Ryan Sutter are parents to a baby boy! The couple met on The Bachelorette in 2002 and, unlike any other relationship on that series, these two stayed together.

According to Celebrity Baby Blog, the little boy was born via c-section on Friday at a hospital in Vail, Colorado, which is where the couple lives. Trista had some complications late in her pregnancy, as she was suffering from both preeclampsia and gestational diabetes, and their son was born a month before his due date. An official statement from the couple says "everyone's doing great".

Trista and Ryan named their son Maxwell Alston. He was a 5 pounds, 3 ounces.

Celebrity couple Ryan and Trista expecting a baby

by Anna Johns, posted Feb 21st 2007 8:06AM
ryan sutter; trista rehnIt reportedly took two years of trying, but reality show lovebirds Ryan and Trista Sutter are finally expecting a baby. Trista chose Ryan back in 2002 when she was ABC's The Bachelorette. The couple married three years ago. Unlike pretty much any other relationship from The Bachelor series, these two have actually stuck it out.

I like these two because, unlike other reality show couples (I'm looking at you, Rob & Amber) these two had their televised wedding and a few other gigs, and then got out of the spotlight. I believe they're living near Vail, Colorado.

Trista is 14 weeks along in her pregnancy (too early to know the child's gender) and is due the third week of August. It's gonna be a long, hot summer for that girl. I sure hope she has air conditioning!

The latest Bachelor breakup

by Anna Johns, posted Mar 8th 2006 5:36PM
travis stork sarah stone break upIf reality television stars can't find true love through liquor and hot tubs, is there any hope for the rest of us? It's true, the latest happy couple created on ABC's The Bachelor is splitsville. Despite professing mutual admiration for each other when The Bachelor concluded last month, it turns out that Travis Stork and Sarah Stone weren't meant to be. Stork gave Stone a diamond ring on a necklace during the season finale on Feb. 27th, but didn't propose. He just said he wanted to return to Nashville (hometown for both of them) to see how it goes. Of course, that actual interaction happened in November and the two haven't been allowed to see each other or date until the season finale aired last month. Stork and Stone follow a long line of The Bachelor couples who haven't made it. In fact, the only couple that survives is The Bachelorette's Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter, who married in December 2003.
