'Biggest Loser' Star Sam Poueu Sends Message to Fans After His Four-Story Fall

Sam Poueu is used to overcoming adversity. The 25-year-old lost 134lbs during season 9 of 'The Biggest Loser,' going on to work as a personal trainer at the show's resort to help others achieve their weight-loss goals.But on Sept. 3, the reality contestant fell from the roof of a four story apartment building in San Francisco, leaving him in critical condition. He was treated for head trauma, torn ligaments, a punctured lung, a broken leg and a pelvic injury.
After undergoing multiple surgeries, Poueu was transferred to a rehabilitation center in October. On Nov. 19, Poueu tweeted his first message to fans in the wake of the accident, thanking them for their words of support.
