Olbermann has it out for Britney Spears
by Anna Johns, posted Feb 8th 2006 9:21AM
Have you seen the photos of Britney Spears driving her
SUV with her 4-month-old son, Sean Preston, sitting on her lap? It's all the gossip columnists and entertainment news
programs can talk about (Britney says she was fleeing paparazzi). For some reason, it has captured the mind of Keith
Olbermann. Whenever he reports celebrity news on his show, Countdown, he usually begrudgingly says his
producers made him do it or he does it in popsicle stick theater. Not this time. Keith spent the last SIX MINUTES on
his show last night making fun of Britney Spears with gossip columnist Michael Musto. The banners on the screen said
Dummy and Me and Moron on Board. He and Musto were very nasty about the whole situation, Musto taking
the opportunity to show off his celebrity gossip know-how by bashing Britney, Kate Moss and Michael Jackson in the same
breath. It seemed a little over the top, even for Olbermann.
Britney, Kevin sue US Weekly
by Anna Johns, posted Dec 20th 2005 5:37PM
I saw the episode of Chaotic where Britney talked
about having sex with Kevin, made out with Kevin, and got drunk with Kevin. So, Kevin and Britney making a sex tape
doesn't sound that far-fetched to me. It didn't sound far-fetched to US Weekly, either, when it printed the story,
Brit & Kev: Secret Sex Tape? New parents have a new worry: racy footage from 2004. The story cited a
reliable source, saying that some of Britney's entourage threatened to release the tape to the public. It said Brit and
K-Fed told their lawyers about the threat and even watched the tape with their lawyers. Britney is suing US Weekly,
which ran the story in October. She says there's no X-rated tape, no threat, and no viewing with lawyers, y'all!
Britney and K-Fed filed a $10 million lawsuit in Los Angeles this week. Her lawyer says she finally filed a lawsuit
against the tabloid because she's fed up with all the false stories it prints about her.TV Squad Hot Topics
