Cathy Falters at the Marathon Finish Line on 'The Big C' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 27th 2011 6:45AM
'The Big C' - 'Crossing the Line'In learning to let Lee go this season, Cathy has decided to live life to the fullest while she still has it on 'The Big C' (Mon., 10:30PM ET on Showtime). In this season finale, that meant picking up Lee's plans to run in the New Year's Eve marathon.

She actually wound up picking it up quite literally, as she missed the deadline to enter, and took his number and ran it as him. But while Cathy was training for and running the marathon, she was missing some pretty serious stuff going down in the family, and this time it didn't involve Adam. In fact, Adam seems to be getting himself together.

Did the Botwins Reunite and Find Family Peace on 'Weeds' Finale? (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 27th 2011 3:15AM
'Weeds' - 'Do Her/Don't Do Her'It's been a crazy ride for the Botwin family, torn apart by greed and weakness throughout this season of 'Weeds' (Mon., 10PM ET on Showtime). But in last night's finale, Silas admitted his failings and apologized to Nancy.

Nancy got herself out of trouble with Heylia, who told her Silas wasn't happy in the city. So Andy came up with a solution to solve this problem, as well as Nancy's custody battle with her sister over Stevie. That solution jumped us ahead four months to Connecticut.

There we find that the Botwins are living together in a type of compound, allowing them to be a family without having to be that close to one another. But there are still secrets, as Shane is now attending the police academy while telling the family he's going to college.

Truth is Revealed on the Season 3 Finale of 'Drop Dead Diva' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 26th 2011 4:45AM
'Drop Dead Diva' season finale - 'Change of Heart'It's a good thing Lifetime has already renewed 'Drop Dead Diva' (Sun., 9PM ET on Lifetime) for a fourth season, as they certainly left us with quite a shocker in this season finale. After drawing closer and closer to one another, Grayson started to see bits and pieces of the Deb he loves and misses in Stacy.

And so, after declaring her a free woman, he kisses her. Of course, Jane sees this and then stops watching before it comes to an end and Stacy tells Grayson it'll never work between them.

Only that's not exactly what she said. To his credit, Grayson admitted that his attraction to Stacy was because, "You're so much like Deb and when I'm with you it's like I'm with her."

Tyler Gets Some Heartbreaking News on the 'Teen Mom' Finale (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 21st 2011 5:30AM
'Teen Mom' season finaleIt was the season finale of 'Teen Mom' (Tue., 10PM ET on MTV), and with it came some tough news for Tyler.

Catelynn and Tyler had opened up their home to his dad Butch, who was on parole. They laid down some ground rules and everything seemed to be going well.

While Butch had agreed that he wouldn't do drugs anymore, he failed a drug test and wound up being taken back to prison. It was a pretty tough blow for Tyler, who found support in Catelynn's arms.

We were a little stunned by the way April revealed the news. "Well, your dad went to prison, dude," she said casually when she came in.

Who Won 'Hell's Kitchen'?: Was It Will or Paul? (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 20th 2011 7:00AM
'Hell's Kitchen' finaleIt was the finale of 'Hell's Kitchen' (Mon., 8PM ET on FOX) and just two chefs were left. For their final challenge finalists Will Lustberg and Paul Niedermann needed to develop their own menu for a dinner service. To make things more intense, their staff was made up of eliminated contestants.

!!SPOILER ALERT!!

It was fun seeing all those familiar faces bustling around the kitchen, but in the end it came down to two men and two doors. One would open and the other would not. In a blast of confetti and profanity, it was Paul who emerged triumphant.

"We didn't do it for me," he told his assembled friends and family. "We did it for my mom."

T.K. Faces Off Against His Biggest Rival on 'Necessary Roughness' Finale (VIDEO)

by Catherine Lawson, posted Sep 15th 2011 7:55AM
'Necessary Roughness' S01/E12It was play-offs time in 'Necessary Roughness' (Wed., 10PM ET on USA), so everyone had to bring their A game.

Unfortunately for the New York Hawks, star player Terence "T.K." King (Mehcad Brooks) has been suffering from panic attacks, and on last night's season finale his state of mind wasn't helped by the fact that he knew he'd be going up against his biggest rival, Maurice "The Minefield" Manningfield (Terrell Owens).

T.K. was chilling at the club when The Minefield showed up. After the pair indulged in some harmless trash-talking Minefield went too far, and T.K. prepared to go toe to toe against him.

Did Adam, Porsche or Rachel Win 'Big Brother 13'? (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 15th 2011 2:16AM
'Big Brother' season finaleIt went by so fast. It seems like just yesterday Rachel was crying on 'Big Brother' (Wed., 9:30PM ET on CBS) and driving everyone at home and in the house crazy. And now here she is in the finale with probably the best chance of winning between the Final Three. But first, she has to win the last HOH competition!

!!SPOILER ALERT!!

It's been a while since we checked in with the Houseguests, and while we were away, Rachel walked away with the win in Round One of a three-part HOH competition. When it comes to simply hanging onto things, nobody seems able to touch her. Adam gave up quickly, while Porsche hung in there until she was about to hurl.

'America's Got Talent' Crowns Season 6 Winner (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 14th 2011 10:54PM
'America's Got Talent' finaleAfter a two-hour season finale that easily felt like it lasted three or four, 'America's Got Talent' (Wed., 8PM ET on NBC) crowned its Season 6 winner.

Would it be another solo singing act, which seems to have dominated the past several seasons, or would one of the unique dance groups rise to the top (sorry, POPLYFE, I've already ruled you out of contention)?

Before we found out, each of the final four acts got to perform a duet. Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. perhaps surprised the most by switching up the style of song completely with a more uptempo jam with Patti LaBelle.

'Bachelor Pad': Top 5 Awkward Moments in the Season Finale

by Laura Prudom, posted Sep 13th 2011 5:00AM
Bachelor Pad finaleAnother tear-stained season of 'Bachelor Pad' has come to a close, filled with more fights, more feuds, and more than a few revelations (even though many of them were ruined by the media long before the episode actually aired).

Jake and Vienna, Vienna and Kasey, Melissa and Blake, Blake and Holly, Holly and Michael, Erica and gavel -- it's hard to keep track, but by gum, I tried!

Summer is most certainly over and we have blah-blah-Ben to "look forward to" as our next 'Bachelor,' so let's savor the trashy triumph of 'BP' while we still can and look back at the top five most awkward moments from the 'Bachelor Pad' season finale.

Michael J. Fox Is a Formidable Opponent on 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' Finale (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 12th 2011 5:34AM
'Curb Your Enthusiasm' - 'Larry vs. Michael J. Fox'For the season finale of 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' (Sun., 10PM ET on HBO), Larry David tapped one of New York's most famous citizens in Michael J. Fox. As he was playing a version of himself, FOX didn't shy away from his Parkinson's. In fact, it was a major part of the conflict between him and Larry.

But Parkinson's wasn't the only potentially controversial subject broached on this episode, as Larry gave a fantastic gift to a seven-year old "pre-gay" boy.

Now the gift was incredibly well-received and loved by the child, but his mother -- who also happens to be Larry's latest girlfriend -- was none too pleased, accusing Larry of trying to make her son gay.

'In the Flow with Affion Crockett' Puts Rush Limbaugh and Chris Rock Together (VIDEO)

'Rush Limbaugh' and 'Chris Rock,' 'In the Flow with Affion Crockett''In the Flow with Affion Crockett' (Sun., 9:30PM ET on FOX) has been a real mixed bag, and it hasn't found much audience support. That said, though, Crockett does have some pretty spot-on impressions, and there are funny bits to be found on the show. We were particularly impressed with his take on Chris Rock.

Crockett matched both his unique voice and cadence, as well as his body tics perfectly. It made for an awkward sketch with the show's impression of Rush Limbaugh, because it just wasn't nearly as good.

Sookie Decides Between Bill and Eric on the 'True Blood' Season Finale (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 12th 2011 4:06AM
'True Blood' - 'And When I Die'Sure, 'True Blood' (Sun., 9PM ET on HBO) is one of the most violent and gory shows on television, but at its heart it's still a love story.

What started as the story of Sookie's unlikely love affair with a vampire expanded into a love triangle between her and two vampires. In this season finale, she finally made a decision.

!!SPOILER ALERT!!

But before that could happen, there was Marnie to deal with. I have to say that once she jumped into Lafayette, I expected her to be a lot more difficult to deal with. And then she managed to take Jesus' demon spirit ... should she have been so easy to dispatch? I mean, Holly, Tara and Sookie?

'Louie' Wraps Season on a Positive, Delusional Note, With Some Help From Chris Rock (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 9th 2011 5:40AM
'Louie' - 'New Jersey / Airport''Louie' (Thu., 10:30PM ET on FX) wrapped Season 2 with one of the most brilliantly unique scenes I've ever seen on any kind of television show. Honestly, the only way to describe that moment is that it's so ... 'Louie.'

!!SPOILER ALERT!!

The show sticks with its two-vignettes format for this episode, but the halves work well together, pushing the character of Louis C.K. reluctantly toward a genuine adulthood. The first half was incredibly awkward and uncomfortable, as Louis succumbed to his weakness and yearnings by agreeing to get in the car with a strange woman.

The Return of 'Evil' Ryan on the 'Wilfred' Season Finale (VIDEO)

'Wilfred' season finale - 'Identity'The first thought I had when reaching the end of the 'Wilfred' (Thu., 11PM ET on FOX) finale was thank goodness the show's already been picked up for a second season. The entire episode was a fantastic exploration deeper into Ryan than we've gone all season, but the closing moments positively blew my mind.

!!SPOILER ALERT!!

A few weeks back I said I was going to stop trying to figure out what Wilfred represented and what was real and what wasn't. Rather, I was just going to go along for the ride and enjoy myself. But this show just won't let me.

'Famous Food' Season Finale Ends With a Twist (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 8th 2011 12:35AM
Reality shows love their dramatic twists, and never is it more dramatic then to throw one at the contestants in the final episode, which is exactly what happened on 'Famous Food' (Wed., 8PM ET on VH1). But on the way to that moment, we learned that Vinny doesn't take constructive criticism well.

He stormed off before the announcement of the winner. His ego got so out of control, he started telling judges Mike Malin and Lonnie Moore of the Dolce Group about how he's a movie star and they should have some respect.

Who knew that being a big-time movie star with a Screen Actor's Guild statue in your house means you know everything about the restaurant business?
