Twin Peaks second season on DVD in spring

by Adam Finley, posted Dec 11th 2006 6:25PM

twin peaksOver a year ago I mentioned a rumor that David Lynch would be bringing Twin Peaks back to television, possibly as a series of TV movies. As it turns out, that's not true. Lynch put the kibosh on the rumors an interview with Suicide Girls, and stated he has no intention of revisiting the series. To be honest, I'm not that bothered by his decision. Twin Peaks had a decent run considering how bizarre the show was, and it seems more than a little foolish to come back to it at this late date. Of course, someone should tell that to Sylvester Stallone, too.

There is some good news for Twin Peaks fans, however. In another interview with iF Magazine he said that the second season of the series would be available next spring. TVShowsOnDVD also has an unofficial announcement that the DVD will hit stores in April of next year, so keep your eyes peeled.

12 oz. Mouse is coming back

by Adam Finley, posted Jul 16th 2006 12:01PM
12 oz mouse12 oz. Mouse, Adult Swim's cartoon about a poorly-drawn drunken mouse and his adventures with various pieces of clip art is coming back for a second season. The season kicks off on September 17, though as of this writing the actually airtime is unspecified. Quite honestly, I never knew what to make of 12 oz. Mouse. Some programs I love, others I hate, and then there are those like 12 oz. Mouse I could just never form a definite opinion on. I dug the humor just fine, but found the pacing to be too slow to my liking, and the minimalist quality of the show, which I would normally find endearing, just didn't turn me on. Is anyone out there excited about this show coming back?
