'Chuck' Set Visit: Yvonne Strahovski and Carrie-Anne Moss Share Nudist Colony Intel (EXCLUSIVE CLIP)

by Laura Prudom, posted Dec 8th 2011 10:40AM
Chuck castToday is a bittersweet day for loyal 'Chuck' fans, as the show wrapped its final night of filming just a few hours ago. But even though the cameras have stopped rolling, the Buy More lives on -- at least for nine more episodes, the first of which airs tomorrow night (Fri., Dec. 9, 8PM ET on NBC).

AOL TV was on set for the filming of 'Chuck versus the Hack Off,' which was also the final episode of the series that Zachary Levi directed. It guest-stars 'Community' favorite Danny Pudi, 'Lost' alum Eric Lange and ass-kicking 'Matrix' heroine Carrie-Anne Moss, and judging by what we saw during our visit, it promises to be one of the show's most hilarious episodes yet.

We caught up with Moss and Yvonne Strahovski to get the scoop on why Chuck, Sarah and Gertrude find themselves infiltrating a cult; Levi's directing style; and what Strahovski was feeling as the show neared its end. We also have an exclusive -- and revealing -- preview of tomorrow night's episode, so read on for more.

'Happy Endings' Preview: Fred Savage, a Steak Me Home Tonight Commercial & More

by Maggie Furlong, posted Nov 2nd 2011 3:30PM
Tonight's episode of 'Happy Endings' (Wed., Nov. 2, 9:30PM ET on ABC) is one I've really been looking forward to. Fred Savage -- yes, Fred Savage of 'Wonder Years' and 'Princess Bride' fame -- not only directed this episode but also stepped in front of the cameras for a quick cameo playing himself.

I visited the 'Happy' set while they were shooting this episode, titled 'Lying Around,' which finds Savage randomly interrupting a date that Alex (Elisha Cuthbert) is on. We'll also see Dave (Zachary Knighton) taking his food truck to the next level. Yep, that's right, we're talking about a Steak Me Home Tonight commercial. Only problem? Dave is horrible on camera, and Max (Adam Pally) might not be that great behind the camera either. (Couldn't they have gone super meta and had Savage direct the commercial within the show, too?)

'Fringe' Set Visit: The Cast Talks Peter's Return, Dueling Universes & New Threats

by Laura Prudom, posted Oct 21st 2011 10:00AM
After four episodes of ghostly visitations, disembodied voices and brief cameos in reflective surfaces, Peter Bishop (Joshua Jackson) is back from non-existence, which, ordinarily, would be cause for celebration.

Unfortunately for 'Fringe' fans, there's still the small issue of no one remembering who Peter is, which means that the tearful reunions might be a long time coming -- especially since there's no new episode this week.

Fringe cast
Last month, AOL TV traveled to Vancouver to catch up with the cast of the Fox drama (Fridays at 9PM ET) and find out what's coming up for our intrepid Fringe divisions -- on this side and the other.

After the jump, Anna Torv, John Noble, Jasika Nicole, Seth Gabel and Lance Reddick weigh in on what Peter's return will mean for the team, how the addition of Lincoln will change the character dynamics and how the working relationship between the two universes will evolve. Warning: Spoilers ahead.

'The Secret Circle' Cast Talks Character Deaths, New Romance and Truth or Dare

by Laura Prudom, posted Oct 13th 2011 3:30PM
The Secret Circle castOne murky Vancouver evening in early October, a sodden group of out-of-towners stumbled through the densely-knit woods, seeking shelter from a sudden, brutal downpour that had caught them unprepared. The mud was caked up to their knees, the ground was treacherously slick, and the only solid structure in sight was a lake house belonging to a dead man.

Unaware of the building's sinister history, the shivering procession snuck past cameramen, grips, PAs and boom operators to find refuge in the drafty basement, above which an oblivious coven of witches was engrossed in an alcohol-fueled game of Truth or Dare.

Just a typical night on the set of 'The Secret Circle.'

AOL TV (along with an intrepid band of fellow reporters) braved the rain -- both real and man-made -- to talk to the cast of the supernatural drama (which just received a full season pick up) while they shot on location at an atmospheric lakeside property. We grilled them on the show's ever-evolving love triangles, upcoming deaths, and the truth about Cassie's father. Spoilers ahead.

'Raising Hope' Stars Tease Sabrina's Reveal, Heading to Vegas & Dream Guest Stars

by Maggie Furlong, posted Sep 27th 2011 8:15PM

We've gotten cozy hanging out in the Chance house on 'Raising Hope,' but tonight's episode (Tues., Sept. 27, 9:30PM ET on Fox) has the crew moving on up.

See, Sabrina doesn't really have to work at the grocery store. Truth is, she comes from money -- like sick mansions and fancy yachts kind of money -- and this week the Chance family will get to meet her crazy, gun-toting father Cap, played by the fabulously funny Stephen Root.

I visited the show while they were on location at Cap's mansion to see everyone all dressed up (Virginia's wearing lipstick! Jimmy and Burt are in short-sleeved button-downs!) and to find out what we'll learn about wealthy Sabrina's past.

'Free Agents' Stars Talk 'Party Down' Parallels & Being the Anti-Romantic Comedy

by Maggie Furlong, posted Sep 14th 2011 11:00AM
Hank Azaria & Kathryn Hahn, 'Free Agents''Free Agents' is not 'Party Down' ... but it does share some very key elements with that cult favorite, canceled-too-soon show.

First and foremost: creator John Enbom, who shared creator credit on 'Party Down' with Paul Rudd, Dan Etheridge and Rob Thomas, whom Enbom first teamed up with after working in the writers room on Thomas' other other cult favorite series 'Veronica Mars.'

But possibly even more important than pedigree here is set-up. Much like the Casey-Henry 'Party Down' romance rollercoaster, 'Free Agents' PR execs Alex (Hank Azaria) and Helen (Kathryn Hahn) get the wham-bam-thank you ma'am out of the way really early on. It's the "what now?" that drives their relationship -- at work and in the bedroom -- as opposed to the more popular "will they/won't they" dilemma. They did already, and as Enbom, Azaria and Hahn all promise, they will again and again.

And thirdly, well, let's just say they'd welcome any 'Party Down' alums to stop by for a guest spot.

The 'NTSF:SD:SUV::' Cast Talks Acronyms, Guest Stars & the Shake Weight (VIDEO)

by Maggie Furlong, posted Jul 18th 2011 4:40PM
You've seen the over-the-top promos, you've probably spied a hilarious on-set picture or two and, of course, everyone's familiar with the show's acronym-happy inspirations -- now we'll finally be thrust into the universe of 'NTSF:SD:SUV::' (premieres Thurs., July 21, 12:15AM on Adult Swim).

Originally thought up as a funny interstitial during Adult Swim's late-night programming, the show now follows the adventures of a band of misfits who are at the top of their game when it comes to fighting terrorists. Yes, it's the 'National Terrorism Strike Force: San Diego: Sport Utility Vehicle,' now in 15-minute episode form.

NTSF:SD:SUV::
I got to hang out on the show's set with Rebecca Romijn, Martin Starr, June Diane Raphael, Brandon Johnson, Kate Mulgrew and creator and star Paul Scheer, who describes his strike force leader perfectly: "It's like if Michael Bay and Jack Bauer had a baby, it would be me."

Watch the set visit video interviews after the jump to get a taste of the show, and to hear more gems from the hysterical cast. Like Starr's thoughts on his pal Raphael sleeping with the boss (she's married to Scheer), Romijn's dish about her hubby Jerry O'Connell doing a guest spot and Mulgrew spouting lines and going places where no 'Star Trek' captain has gone before.

'The Voice' Final Performance Show: What You Didn't See On TV

by Maggie Furlong, posted Jun 29th 2011 2:00AM
I haven't been shy about my love for 'The Voice' this season. I can't help it -- this show has hooked me like no other reality competition show has in a long time.

I was lucky enough to be in the audience this week for the final performance show before the winner is crowned in the first season finale (Wed., June 29, 8PM ET on NBC). Did you watch? Unbelievable, right?

There was plenty of excitement in the crowd for the final four performing original songs for the first time, and doing duets with their coaches -- not to mention the coaches' 'Under Pressure,' that booty-shaking Pitbull and Ne-Yo performance and Blake Shelton jumping up to sing alongside country star Brad Paisley (all after the jump).

But what happened on the live show when the cameras weren't on? Here, the six things you didn't see on TV -- also known as six more reasons 'The Voice' is real, raw and worthy of my adoration.

The Stars of 'Drop Dead Diva' Dish Love, Romance & Dream Guest Stars (VIDEO)

by Maggie Furlong, posted Jun 15th 2011 6:00AM
At the end of 'Drop Dead Diva' Season 2, an engaged Grayson was left badly beat up after an accident, and a distraught Jane was by his side, wondering if he really saw her as Deb or was just hallucinating before slipping into a coma.

Drama, right? The clever, quirky show doesn't keep things serious for too long though, returning with a big hospital song-and-dance number to 'Don't Leave Me This Way' in the premiere.

'Drop Dead Diva' Season 3 Premiere

That balance of heart-wrenching and laugh-inducing is exactly why fans can't wait for more. With Season 3 premiering (Sun., June 19, 9PM ET on Lifetime), AOL TV visited the show's set in Peachtree City, Georgia, to get the scoop on what's next.

'NY Ink' Set Visit: Ami James Takes His Tattoo Talents to NYC

by Alex Moaba, posted May 27th 2011 3:00PM
Renowned tattoo artist Ami James will be taking his talents from South Beach to New York this summer, expanding his reality tattoo show empire into the Empire State with 'NY Ink' (premieres Thurs., June 2, 10PM ET on TLC).

James has spent the last few months putting together a new crew and setting up an expansive, sprawling tattoo shop in downtown Manhattan that he's dubbed the Wooster Street Social Club. AOL TV spent a day hanging out at the shop, taking pictures and talking with James about the new cast, what's in store this season and New York's vibrant tattoo culture.

James said he's extremely excited about opening a new shop in New York. "The tattoo culture is way bigger in New York than Miami; there's no comparison at all. New York has always been a tattoo capital. You walk down a New York street in the summer and literally every third person has a sleeve. That's something that just doesn't exist in Miami. The really cool part is that you have a lot more customers who want to get serious work, really cool tattoos, which inspires you as an artist everyday."

'How I Met Your Mother' Finale Preview: The Stars Tease Romance & More Mysteries

by Laura Prudom, posted May 13th 2011 1:00PM
It's been a season of emotional highs and lows on the CBS comedy 'How I Met Your Mother' -- we started with a wedding, took a tragic pitstop at a funeral and found ourselves inordinately fixated on a dingy old building populated by cockamice, but on Monday (May 16, 8PM ET), it all comes to a head.

Cobie Smulders, Josh Radnor and Neil Patrick Harris

The season finale will see Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) given a chance to make amends for a mistake he made earlier in the year, relationships will be tested, questionable foods will be eaten and the Arcadian will meet its ultimate fate.

AOL TV was on set to watch the finale being filmed, and we caught up with Josh Radnor and Cobie Smulders for a few hints on what fans can expect as the season wraps up. (Spoilers ahead)

'Chuck' Finale Set Visit: Will Chuck and Sarah Make It Down the Aisle?

by Laura Prudom, posted May 10th 2011 12:45PM
Yvonne Strahovski and Zachary LeviThough next week's 'Chuck' finale is titled 'Chuck vs. the Cliffhanger,' after last night's shocking episode, you'd be forgiven for wondering how much more cliffhang-y things could possibly get in Burbank.

Our blushing bride and dashing groom were left facing an uncertain future at the episode's conclusion, and at this point, making it to the church on time is the least of our spy team's worries.

Last month, AOL TV was among a number of outlets invited to the 'Chuck' set to interview the cast as they filmed the finale. Though the series still hasn't been officially renewed for another season, the actors were optimistic about their chances; 'Chuck' is the Little Show That Could, after all, sustained by fan love, product placement and more than a few 'Star Wars' references. (Edit: 'Chuck' has been renewed for a fifth and final season!)

Join us after the jump to discover what we learned about next week's climactic finale and what the stars had to say about their loyal fans. (Spoilers ahead.)

'Community' Cast Talks About Josh Holloway, Crazy Costumes & Paintball (VIDEO)

by Maggie Furlong, posted May 2nd 2011 9:00AM
By now we've all heard a lot about 'Community''s big two-part paintball season finale (part one airs Thurs., May 5, 8PM ET on NBC; part two airs May 12), but what do we really know?

Well, Josh Holloway is guest starring as the mysterious Black Rider, and his old pal Chevy Chase was happy to have him and his dimples on set. Not surprisingly, everyone admits to having a massive crush on Holloway: "I was flirting with him. I don't care," Donald Glover said; "Dreamy with a capital "D," Joel McHale agreed.

Also, there's a Sergio Leone western theme for the first part, but the costumes and theme change a bit for part two, welcoming a 'Star Wars' theme -- sort of. There are stormtroopers running around and Danny Pudi's Abed looks a lot like Han Solo when he takes off his serape, but Yvette Nicole Brown's Shirley is dressed as Father Guido Sarducci.

Yep, so it'll be about as random as 'Community' fans have come to expect from the show.

EXCLUSIVE: 'Hellcats' Gets Anti-Bullying Message to Larger Audience (VIDEO)

by Maggie Furlong, posted Apr 25th 2011 3:15PM
Tyler Wilson on the set of 'Hellcats'11-year-old Ohio native Tyler Wilson became national news back in September when he was bullied at school for wanting to be a cheerleader. Apparently the other kids thought that was worthy of a beating that led to a broken arm for Tyler.

Bullying certainly isn't a new issue in schools, but it's getting more attention lately, as big-name celebrities are speaking out against it.

When Tyler's story made headlines, the cast of The CW's 'Hellcats' made a PSA reminding kids that it's their right to be whatever they want to be; they even invited Tyler to the show's set to see some tough TV cheerleaders, male and female, in action.

AOL TV is proud to share this exclusive behind-the-scenes video of Tyler's visit to Vancouver, including anti-bullying messages from stars Aly Michalka, Matt Barr, Heather Hemmens and Robbie Jones; Tyler learning some moves from the show's choreographer; and a sneak peek of the scenes he got to be a part of in this week's episode, 'Before I Was Caught' (airs Tuesday, April 26, 9PM ET on The CW).
