Dinnertime on 'Sextuplets Take New York'It's dinnertime in the Carpio house on 'Sextuplets Take New York' (Tue., 10PM ET on TLC). And that means feeding six 23-month-old babies. "Sometimes all of them cry, and I start singing," says Digna Carpio. Sure enough, the little ones start wailing as they wait for food, and she begins to sing. Amazingly, they all turn silent and listen, seemingly entranced by their mom. But it's only a lull.

"At 8 o'clock they go to the bed again," says Digna, and Victor adds, "and it's time for us." The couple admits that parenting seven kids (including their 10-year-old son) is a tiring job, but you can tell theirs is a house brimming with love. "We are blessed," says Victor.

sextuplets_take_new_york_TLCCarpe diem means seize the day. For the family that's the focus of TLC's new reality show, 'Sextuplets Take New York,' that phrase could be changed to Carpio diem.

The Carpio family consists of two loving parents, one 10-year-old, and six 23-month-old babies. Each day is a challenge that they seize with love, understanding and determination to succeed.

'Sextuplets Take New York' premieres Sept. 14 at 10PM on TLC, and if it seems like it might be similar to 'Jon & Kate Plus Eight,' that's no coincidence. Both shows have the same producers.
