(S07E16) When it was announced that Gena Rowlands would be on 'NCIS' as a guest, playing Jethro's former mother-in-law, you just suspected that this was going to be something special. Sometimes it's difficult to live up to the expectations, for the creators as well as the fans watching. Fortunately, this show did live up to the expectations, especially for those who have always wanted to know more about Gibbs and his tragic past.

Fans of 'Lost' know that this is the season where a lot of old favorites come back to the show, whether they're dead or not (well, mostly dead).

We've already seen Boone (Ian Somerhalder), Claire (Emilie de Ravin), Helen (Katey Segal), and Juliet (Elizabeth Mitchell - we assumed she died in the season finale last year but she popped up again for a teary goodbye with Sawyer). And now another well-loved character is coming back.

Who? Someone close to one of the characters above...

IGN has some pictures of the new Lost figurines that will be available in September. They're made by McFarlane and feature characters in scenes from the first season. For instance, Charlie's sitting on a log writing F-A-T-E on his fingers and Jack appears to be stumbling out of the jungle, still in his suit. There's also a larger one with the hatch, and 11-year old boys everywhere will be begging for a Shannon doll for Christmas.

The dolls look pretty awesome, with a few exceptions. While the details are pretty astounding, the faces of two of the characters seem a little bit off. Jack sort-of looks like Adam Sandler. Kate isn't quite right, either. Locke and Hurley look pretty rad, though.

Unfortunately, there isn't a Sawyer doll. So Kate and Sawyer are never going to hook up!

I wholeheartedly disagree with this editorial in the Toronto Star. The writer calls for Ana Lucia's character to be killed off on Lost. He'd like to see her get scurvy, mauled by a polar bear, "vanish into a black cloud", or get shot in a special guest appearance by Dick Cheney. He says that, despite her tragic back-story, Ana Lucia is not a captivating character. He thinks she lacks depth and doesn't like her attitude. He also calls for the "killing-off" of Izzie on Grey's Anatomy, so he may just be completely out of his mind.

Here are five reasons to keep Ana Lucia alive:

5. We love to hate her.  Why does everybody have to get along? So she's abrasive and lacks common sense or civility. She has a management style thats, um, different. That makes for a great, strong character. Even if we do hate her.
