Sherri Shepherd Imagines Tim McGraw in a Certain Kind of Movie (VIDEO)
by Nick Zaino, posted Apr 27th 2011 3:50PM
Tim McGraw made quite an impression on Sherri Shepherd on today's episode of 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated on ABC). McGraw is mainly known as a country music star, but he has also dabbled in acting, appearing in movies like 'The Blind Side' and 'Country Strong.' But those aren't the kinds of movies Shepherd says she was imagining for McGraw.Joy Behar said she could imagine McGraw doing something about the life of John Wayne.
"You don't even want to know the movie I got with you in my head," Shepherd piped in. "Hot dog! He is so fine. Oh my God!"
Whoopi Goldberg agreed -- she did not want to know the movie Shepherd had in her head. McGraw seemed amused, but no matter what critics said about 'Country Strong,' it was probably a better option for him than what Shepherd had in mind.
Sherri and Elisabeth Kiss in Honor of the Royal Wedding on 'The View' (VIDEO)
by Donald Deane, posted Apr 26th 2011 12:45PM
The ladies of 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated) wore masks of the royal family as a way to mark the upcoming wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. And, Sherri Shepherd, as William, and Elisabeth Hasselbeck, as Middleton, engaged in a lengthy make-out session that was more unsettling than anything else.Shepherd and Hasselbeck made loud kissing sounds, embraced and pushed their masked faces together in a semblance of kissing, giggling hysterically all the while. Meanwhile, Whoopi Goldberg, as Queen Elizabeth II, looked on, and she was not amused.

by Donald Deane, posted Apr 22nd 2011 2:00PM
Sara Ramirez of 'Grey's Anatomy' regaled Sherri Shepherd with an impromptu rendition of 'Happy Birthday,' but Barbara Walters seemed more concerned about having to pay royalties for the song on 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated)."You know, if you sing 'Happy Birthday' you have to pay for it. You're welcome," said Walters, pointing at Shepherd. "We're going to charge you."
Joy Behar and Sherri Shepherd Count Their Vibrators on 'The View' (VIDEO)
by Donald Deane, posted Apr 21st 2011 3:00PM
Whoopi Goldberg cited an article in The New York Times pointing out the growing acceptance of vibrators on 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated). This prompted a discussion between Sherri Shepherd and Joy Behar where they compared the number of sex toys received as gifts from guests over the years."I only got two. How many have you gotten?" Behar asked Shepherd.
Sherri Shepherd and Rachael Ray Discuss Swapping Their Curves (VIDEO)
by Nick Zaino, posted Apr 18th 2011 7:30PM
Sherri Shepherd is only a few months away from her August wedding, which is traditionally a time when brides feel the stress of fitting into their wedding dress. On Monday's 'Rachael Ray' (weekdays, syndicated), Shepherd spoke about trying to lose weight, what she'd like her dress to look like, and her desire to trade a couple of body parts with Ray.
Shepherd said she had been trying to get down to a single-digit dress size by going to the gym, but kept forgetting and eating anyway. She's decided not to worry quite as much.
'The View' Hosts Take the Citizenship Test (VIDEO)
by Nick Zaino, posted Apr 15th 2011 4:40PM
Good news for the hosts of 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated on ABC). They are all allowed to stay in the U.S. That's the verdict after Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sherri Shepherd and Elisabeth Hasselbeck collectively took a citizenship test today in honor of a crew member who had just been granted her American citizenship. 'View' producer Bill Geddie administered the test on camera, asking basic questions about the Constitution.Hasselbeck was the secret weapon, able to name the number of voting members in the House of Representative (435) and the current Chief Justice of the Supreme Court (John Roberts). When asked to name a U.S. territory, Goldberg jokingly yelled out "Hawaii!" They did well enough to pass. "Not bad," said Bill Geddies, clearly happy to be through with the segment. "You can all stay. I guess."
Their status may be contingent on how Donald Trump feels about them and if he can divert his team from studying President Obama's birth records in Hawaii long enough to look into 'The View.'
Tracy Morgan and Sherri Shepherd Hilariously Rehash '30 Rock' Nude Scene (VIDEO)
by Nick Zaino, posted Apr 14th 2011 3:50PM
Sherri Shepherd plays Tracy Morgan's wife on '30 Rock,' and got a pretty good look at him on an episode where Morgan had to come out in nothing but a robe and undies. When Morgan appeared on 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated on ABC), Shepherd claimed that Morgan kept stuffing his pants during filming, but he begged to differ."That wasn't stuffed!" Morgan proclaimed. "That's me. You know I'm magically delicious. I don't create nothing but stalkers." Shepherd laughed and looked embarrassed, and eventually apologized to Morgan, which made Whoopi Goldberg laugh even harder and point out that Shepherd was sweating.
Sherri Shepherd Serenades a Package of Toilet Paper on 'The View' (VIDEO)
by Donald Deane, posted Mar 24th 2011 2:30PM
Sherri Shepherd serenaded a package of Charmin Ultra Soft Bath Tissue in a sponsor-related segment on 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated). Has anyone ever professed such undying love for toilet paper? Seems unlikely.Shepherd reclined on top of a piano while she delivered a schmaltzy song with such cringe-worthy lyrics as "Charmin, when I've got to go / Charmin, you're the roll that I know," "Charmin, you soak up my love" and "Charmin, you wipe a smile on my face."
Whoopi Catches Sherri Wearing Dress Backwards on 'The View' (VIDEO)
by Donald Deane, posted Mar 21st 2011 1:00PM
Did Sherri Shepherd get dressed in the dark this morning? Shepherd appeared on 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated) today wearing a dress backward. Still, it wasn't an obvious fashion faux pas and probably would have gone unnoticed if Whoopi Goldberg hadn't called attention to it.After Goldberg does so, Shepherd seems compelled to defend herself. "You can't tell," she said, pointing out that the dress looks the same from either direction.
Jessica Hahn and Barbara Walters Spar Over Affairs on 'The View' (VIDEO)
by Donald Deane, posted Feb 22nd 2011 3:30PM
On 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated), Jessica Hahn brings up Barbara Walters' affair in the 1970s with married Senator Edward Brooke as a way to contrast her sexual relationship with televangelist Jim Bakker, which Hahn says was rape. But this prompts a strong reaction from Walters, who immediately shuts her down.Hahn takes exception to Sherri Shepherd's description of her relationship with Bakker as an "affair," and tries to point out how different it was from Walters' dalliance with Brooke. "This wasn't an affair ... I don't want to be cruel or anything, but ... you had an affair with a senator and ... " Hahn started to say to Walters.

The ladies of 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated), discuss a recent paparazzi photo of John Travolta, in which the balding actor is seen lounging on a beach in Hawaii without his hairpiece."Why doesn't [Justin] Bieber donate his bangs to Travolta?" jokes Joy Behar, referring to the teen singer's recent haircut.
Joy Behar Gets a Dance Party Intervention on 'The View' (VIDEO)
by Nick Zaino, posted Feb 9th 2011 6:30PM
Joy Behar admitted today on 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated on ABC) that she is uncomfortable dancing in public. Doesn't matter, as Sherri Shepherd mentioned, if the music is infectious."I just feel silly. You're looking at the audience ..." she said, launching into an awkward shimmy with a plastered-on smile. She eventually broke into a less-inhibited dance, snapping her fingers about her head, which drew cheers from the audience and encouragement from her co-hosts.
Whoopi Goldberg told Behar what she has to do: "You've got to turn yourself so you're looking at us and we can feed you. Goldberg, Shepherd and Elisabeth Hasselbeck then got up and tried to help Behar get in the spirit of things. She tried but wound up laughing, covering her face with her hands, saying, "I can't."
"And here you all thought that it was white men who couldn't jump," said Goldberg.
Sherri Shepherd Can't Take Her Eyes Off Elka's Lawyer on 'Hot in Cleveland' (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Feb 3rd 2011 3:58AM
Betty White's Elka Ostrovsky is facing some serious trouble due to her relationship with her husband, a man with former mob connections, on this season of 'Hot in Cleveland' (Wed., 10PM ET on TV Land). Fortunately for her, those connections brought her a lawyer.Perhaps we should say fortunately for the ladies around her. He wasn't nearly as capable in helping Elka out in the courtroom as he was at distracting all of the women around him, including the judge, played with gleeful abandon by 'The View's Sherri Shepherd.
All business until she raised her eyes and saw the handsome defense attorney, suddenly the judge was asking if he worked out, and even wanted explicit details. "That's fascinating," she said, though it couldn't have been less so.
Sherri Shepherd Sweats and Grunts (Again) on 'The View' (VIDEO)

Here, trainer Jessie Pavelka helps Shepherd get in shape for her upcoming wedding to Lamar Sally.Sherri Shepherd Recalls Dating an Arsonist on 'The View' (VIDEO)
by Donald Deane, posted Jan 27th 2011 2:00PM
Drawing from past experience, Sherri Shepherd recalls dating an arsonist on 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated). The moral of this discussion seems to be that, while firebugs have hearts too, they really can't be trusted. And it's probably a good idea to hide your matches as well.TV Squad Hot Topics
