by Donald Deane, posted Mar 2nd 2010 4:00PM
We're not quite sure what point Sherri Shepherd is trying to make in this clip, but it sure is fun to watch. Barbara Walters criticizes Levi Johnston for failing to pay child support to Bristol Palin and argues that he should simply "get a job" on 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated). This sets off Shepherd, who comes to Johnston's defense and says that his recent pictorial in Playgirl counts as legitimate work.

Octomom's Bizarre Appearance on 'The View' (VIDEO)
by Donald Deane, posted Feb 24th 2010 3:30PM
This absolutely qualifies as one of the most bizarre moments we've ever seen. Nadya Suleman made a scattered, loopy appearance on 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated) today, forgetting questions, distractedly moving her attention from one co-host to another, and breaking out in strange, braying fits of laughter throughout the entire segment. Suleman's behavior is so odd that Joy Behar asks, "Are you on something?" Suleman responds by saying she's simply full of "energy." Hmm. Is that what the kids are calling it these days?

Sherri Shepherd Questions Howard Stern as 'Idol' Replacement (VIDEO)
by Donald Deane, posted Feb 9th 2010 3:00PM
Sherri Shepherd questioned Howard Stern as a potential choice for Simon Cowell's replacement on 'American Idol,' and wondered whether the shock jock is as relevant as he used to be after moving from terrestrial to satellite radio on 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated). "I think if you got Howard Stern on here now ... the legitimacy of 'American Idol' really, really goes down," Shepherd said. "I don't know if he's as relevant as he used to be." An informal poll of the studio audience seemed to support Shepherd's opinion, with the majority indicating they're not in favor of Stern's involvement in the highly-rated singing competition.

by Jane Boursaw, posted Jan 26th 2010 5:30PM
Nothing is off limits for the ladies of 'The View,' not even "self love." Whoopi Goldberg talks about why sex is so alluring to teens, and goes on to say that she doesn't need a partner to experience the feeling of mind-blowing sex. "I am my best audience," she said.
All of this is totally opposite of what Sherri Shepherd wants – someone to take out the garbage. "You want a slave," said Goldberg.

Sherri Shepherd appeared on 'The Mo'Nique Show' still riding high on 'The View's' Daytime Emmy win last August for "Best Talk Show Host." But, according to Shepherd, her reaction to winning the award was less-than-dignified."I was in Miami, and I didn't even go because we didn't think we were going to win," Shepherd said. "So, when they opened up the envelope and they were like, 'The winner is 'The View,'' I was sitting there in my pajamas ... I got up ... I screamed. I peed on myself."

Snoop Dogg Works Wonders on 'The View' (VIDEO)
by Meg Prossnitz, posted Dec 15th 2009 12:54PM
Though the ladies of 'The View' have made headlines for their bickering, it took nothing more than a gangsta rapper turned family man -- Snoop Dogg -- to turn the ladies from daytime divas to grinning, giggling graces. Ice Cube, here's lookin' at you!Bearing crippin' blue gift bags, Snoop Dogg graciously avoided the mistake of snubbing one of the hosts by kissing each and every one on the cheek. And his gifts offered a personal touch: though Whoopi, Barbara, Sherri and Elisabeth all received Neff beanie hats designed to look like cupcakes in "vanilla," their first names were embroidered on each hat. Joy, however, received a black iPod loaded with Snoop's new album, 'Malice N Wonderland,' hooked up to his Skullcandy headphones. One way to unify the 'View' ladies: woo them with gifts. Future guests, take note.
