Katy Perry Gets Slimed at the 'Kids' Choice Awards' (VIDEO)

by Jane Boursaw, posted Mar 28th 2010 9:37PM
Kids' Choice Awards 2010, Katy PerryYou just never know when that slime is going to hit you at the 'Kids' Choice Awards 2010' (Sat., 8PM ET on Nick), but there's a pretty good chance that it WILL hit you. It's still a shock, though, as Katy Perry can attest to when she got slimed while announcing the favorite movie actress winner.

Green goes good with her blue hair, though, doesn't it? Even if it does taste like "boogers"! Miley Cyrus, who won the award, was very, very grateful that Perry didn't try to hug her and mess up her gorgeous white top.

Watch the video after the jump.

Steve Carell is officially hotter than Spiderman - VIDEO

by Annie Wu, posted Apr 3rd 2007 3:01PM
Tobey and SteveI've had a weird little crush on Steve Carell ever since his correspondent days on The Daily Show, but no one -- apart from a few fellow TDS fans -- has really agreed with my awkward attraction until now.

A few nights ago, Justin Timberlake hosted Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards, which is an annual brightly-colored celebration of slime and burping and all things immature. As Tobey MacGuire and Steve Carell stepped up to present the award for Favorite Animated Movie, there was a collective gasp heard from anyone older than 14 in Nickelodeon-watching households... "The 40 Year-Old Virgin could totally beat up Spiderman". Look at these pictures! Someone has obviously been working out. Carell looks like he could pound in MacGuire's nerdy little face and take his lunch money. Of course, this strange shift in the public consensus on "hotness" was so sudden that it knocked the Earth off its axis and we are currently spiraling into the sun.

Episodes of You Can't Do That On Television on YouTube

by Adam Finley, posted Apr 9th 2006 9:05AM

you can't do that on televisionCable was just starting to make its way into people's homes when I was young, so my friends who actually had cable were able to watch shows like Fraggle Rock and other cool stuff while I was stuck with network TV. This may explain why most of my younger years were spent at a friend's house watching Nickelodeon and a little show called You Can't Do That On Television. It was this show, I believe, that introduced the whole "slime" concept that has become synonymous with the kid network. There's a bunch of full episodes on YouTube right now, though the quality on some of them is a bit low. Still, if you're roughly my age and need that nostalgia fix, they're worth checking out.
