by Donald Deane, posted May 10th 2011 11:45AM
Chaz Bono may have once been a woman, but he absolutely can't stand it when women gossip. On 'Good Morning America' (7AM ET on ABC), Bono, who was born Chastity to Sonny Bono and Cher, said he finds it difficult to deal with groups of chatty women since he underwent gender reassignment."When I'm in a group of women ... they'll start talking as women can do and I just can't do that anymore. I just can't talk endlessly about, you know, whatever," Bono said.
Cher Discusses Her Former Daughter's Sex Change With Letterman (VIDEO)
by Oliver Miller, posted Nov 12th 2010 5:05AM
Cher is a legendary singer, actress and long-time advocate for gay rights. She had one child with former husband Sonny Bono -- daughter Chastity Sun Bono, who was named after Cher's first dramatic film role in the 1969 flop 'Chastity,' where she played a bisexual.Daughter Chastity came out as a lesbian many years ago, and following a sex-change operation, she changed her name to Chaz Salvatore Bono. Cher fully supports Chaz, who was legally declared a man this past May. But on 'Late Show' (weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS), she and David Letterman puzzled through how to refer to her child.
Kelli Williams Talks About Selling Lemonade With Johnny Carson (VIDEO)
by Oliver Miller, posted Jul 13th 2010 9:00PM
Kelli Williams -- star of the drama 'Lie to Me' -- appeared on 'The Kilborn File' (weeknights, 7PM ET on Fox). There, she discussed her "normal" childhood, growing up in Beverly Hills as the daughter of an actress and a plastic surgeon.Ms. Williams spoke of being a little kid in Hollywood, and having famous stars as her neighbors -- including Kenny Rogers, Sonny and Cher ... and Johnny Carson, who lived right across the street from her. Since tour buses stopped there to look at Johnny Carson's house, the young Ms. Williams opened up a business called "The Johnny Carson Lemonade Stand" -- in order to separate some of the tourists from their money.
The lemonade stand idea was Johnny Carson's own suggestion. While discussing the topic, host Craig Kilborn hinted that Johnny might have wanted a share of the profits from the lemonade. Ms. William neither confirmed nor denied this.
Alfred Hitchcock will not wear a Halloween costume
by Bob Sassone, posted Oct 31st 2008 2:16PM
I love seeing celebrities dressed up for Halloween. Some of them go all out and look rather crazy. A lot of celebs don't wear anything because they don't want to mess up their hair or be caught dead in anything but Prada. Once in a while a celeb that doesn't go the costume route will put on a mask, like Elvis Presley in this photo. It's one of many photos that The Daily Beast has in a new Halloween gallery.Alfred Hitchcock doesn't really have a costume, more like a prop. You can almost hear what he said to the crew. Look, I'll stand behind this atrocious pumpkin structure and hold a broom, but I am not going to wear a costume.
Looks like it was shot on the set of Alfred Hitchcock Presents maybe (it was 1958)?

Halloween TV: Before she was Old, she was a nymph
by Bob Sassone, posted Oct 27th 2006 11:39AM
That's Julia Louis-Dreyfus on the right, in her groundbreaking performance as a woman turned into a nymph in the classic 1986 horror flick Troll. It was her first big screen appearance after her short stint on Saturday Night Live. Luckily, she went on to a role in Woody Allen's Hannah and Her Sisters the very same year, then on some show about nothing. And now, of course, she's on the hit CBS comedy The New Adventures of Old Christine. If you've never seen Troll, it's, um, interesting to say the least. Maybe good for a goofy Halloween DVD to rent. It stars Michael Moriarty, Sonny Bono, Shelley Hack, June Lockhart and Noah Hathaway as the hero of the flick, Harry Potter.
Yup, Harry Potter.
