Sophia Bush's Relative Killed in Arizona Tragedy, Chelsea Handler Calls Herself a Bully (VIDEO)
by Aimee Deeken, posted Jan 11th 2011 5:10AM
Actress Sophia Bush and her family have been personally affected by the tragedy of the shootings in Arizona. The youngest victim, 9-year-old Christina Taylor Green, was her second cousin."You've gotta take every day, and you've gotta tell the people you love that you do," said Bush on 'Chelsea Lately' (weeknights, 11PM ET on E!). "It's easy to get heated and to scream and yell about what's going on in the world, but when it's getting irresponsible, when it's getting out of control..."
Chelsea Handler responded, "Anything that incites any sort of violence -- because I'm the most guilty one of all, I'm the biggest bully there is, I make fun of everybody. But you can't ever ever suggest violence ... To involve guns... to ruin a family for the rest of their lives is just so unacceptable."
'One Tree Hill' Star Sophia Bush Talks Twitter and the Continuing Crisis in the Gulf
by Laura Prudom, posted Sep 8th 2010 3:20PM
Last week, we threw the spotlight on a number of CW actors who are dedicated to making a difference to our world through charitable contributions and random acts of kindness. One such star was Sophia Bush, the vivacious actress who has portrayed Brooke Davis through seven seasons of 'One Tree Hill'. Previously wary of social media and its lack of privacy, Bush has recently joined the Twitter revolution and started her own blog in order to communicate with fans and share her inspiring passion for environmentalism and humanitarian aid.
TV Squad recently caught up with Bush to learn more about the charitable foundation she holds close to her heart, and to discover the ways in which we can all contribute to making the world a greener, cleaner place.
EXCLUSIVE! CW Stars Sophia Bush and Misha Collins Give Back
by Laura Prudom, posted Aug 31st 2010 10:45AM
Everyone loves an underdog -- and in terms of ratings, few can deny that The CW often seems like a scrappy featherweight trapped in the primetime ring with four heavy-hitters. But when it comes to making a difference in the lives of fans and the public at large, (even those who are too impoverished to own a television), it seems as though the CW network might just be the undisputed heavyweight champion. (We're done with the boxing metaphors now, we promise.)
Whether it's raising money for the clean-up in the Gulf following BP's catastrophic oil spill, finding homes for abandoned dogs, aiding in the rebuilding of New Orleans in the wake of Hurricane Katrina or helping orphans in Haiti, the passion and dedication of the CW's stars is tireless and undeniably inspiring.
Over the weekend, TV Squad caught up with Sophia Bush of 'One Tree Hill' and 'Supernatural' star Misha Collins to discuss their latest charitable projects and give advice to anyone who wants to help change the world, one random act of kindness at a time.
Sophia Bush Joins Don Johnson in 'Southern Comfort'
by Kim Potts, posted Apr 14th 2010 9:30AM
'One Tree Hill' has been on the air for seven seasons, which have included a major flash-forward reboot of the show for its fifth season, the ouster of its two biggest stars -- Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton -- after its sixth season and the real-life marriage (and subsequent divorce) of stars Murray and Sophia Bush. But has the CW teen drama finally hit a wall with news that Bush, its biggest remaining star, is looking to move on to a higher profile show -- and network -- for next season?
Bush, who plays teen queen-turned-fashion mogul Brooke Davis on 'OTH,' has signed on to co-star in the ABC comedy pilot 'Southern Discomfort,' in which she will play the daughter of a Texas couple played by Don Johnson and Mary Steenburgen.
One Tree Hill: Remember Me As A Time Of Day (season finale) - open thread

It always interests me when a show goes on for years and years even though not many people talk about it. One Tree Hill is a show like that. You always here about CW shows like Gossip Girl, Smallville, and Supernatural, but One Tree Hill is a show that has its rabid fan base too, proving that its not just buzz that's important.
But can the show survive without Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton (who are leaving the show), or are we probably looking at the last season next year anyway?
Chad Michael Murray engaged -- again
by Anna Johns, posted Apr 5th 2006 8:11AM
How weird would it be to work on the set of One Tree
Hill? Star Chad Michael Murray, his ex-wife Sophia Bush, and his new fiance, 18-year-old Kenzie Dalton, all work
together. Murray and Bush play lead roles on the WB nighttime soap, while Dalton plays a cheerleading extra. Murray and
Bush married in April of 2005, announced their split in September, and had their marriage annulled in February. But,
their characters still make out with each other on One Tree Hill. But, Dalton and Murray have reportedly been
dating since December. At the age of 24, this will be the second marriage for Murray and the first for 18-year old Dalton. We think.
