Maggie Q Talks Nikita and Michael, Reuniting with Alex and Charities Close to Her Heart

by Laura Prudom, posted Dec 2nd 2011 10:30AM
Maggie QTonight, The CW will air the last 'Nikita' episode of 2011, which will probably result in much wailing and rending of garments when we're left with an inevitable and infuriating cliffhanger to speculate over for the next four weeks.

Suspecting that this whole "winter hiatus" nonsense was just another evil scheme devised by Division to lower our morale, we decided to track down the show's elusive heroine to gather some much-needed intel on Nikita's relationships with Michael, Alex, Owen and Ryan.

In addition to supplying us with scoop about Nikita's potential romances and the character's troubled backstory, Maggie Q also shared a few of her favorite charitable organizations with us, just in case you're in a giving mood this holiday season. Hit the jump for our one-on-one chat with Q, but tread carefully, there are light spoilers ahead.

'Supernatural' EP Sera Gamble Talks Dean's Drinking Problem, Sam's Worst Nightmare & the Midseason Cliffhanger

by Laura Prudom, posted Oct 21st 2011 2:15PM
Dean and SamWe're only five weeks into Season 7 of 'Supernatural,' and already, we've seen (alleged) character deaths, lies, explosions, a broken leg and a couple of seriously creepy visitations from Lucifer -- and the show seems to have no intention of slowing down any time soon. Tonight's episode (9PM ET, The CW) even boasts 'Buffy' alums Charisma Carpenter and James Marsters as a quarreling couple at the center of a suburban bloodbath.

But with so many unexpected twists, questions are sure to follow. Yesterday, I caught up with executive producer Sera Gamble to get some insight into Dean's current mental state (and Sam's, for that matter), the Leviathans' nefarious scheme to draw the Winchesters into the open and a potential return for a fan-favorite character (but not the one you're thinking of).

Spoilers ahead.

'The Secret Circle' EP Andrew Miller Talks Overwhelming Fan Reaction, Cassie's Father & Nick's Bad Boy Brother

by Laura Prudom, posted Oct 19th 2011 4:15PM
Andrew MillerLast week's shocking episode of 'The Secret Circle' (Thursdays, 9PM ET on The CW) elevated the supernatural drama series to a whole new level, proving that it's not afraid of killing off a beloved character to drive the story forward. Since then, fans have taken to message boards and Twitter to react to Nick's demise -- both positively and negatively (and loudly) -- and their passion has obviously taken the producers by surprise.

Earlier this week, I spoke to executive producer Andrew Miller to gauge his reaction to the outpouring of online opinion -- suffice it to say, he's pleased. During our chat, Miller also touched on the ever-evolving love triangles that populate the show, discussed the arrival of Nick's troublemaking brother Jake (Chris Zylka), and teased a little more about the role Cassie's father will play in the ongoing story.

We also have an exclusive preview clip from this week's episode to whet your appetite for tomorrow night, so hit the jump for the video and our conversation with Miller. Warning: Spoilers ahead.

'The Secret Circle' Cast Talks Character Deaths, New Romance and Truth or Dare

by Laura Prudom, posted Oct 13th 2011 3:30PM
The Secret Circle castOne murky Vancouver evening in early October, a sodden group of out-of-towners stumbled through the densely-knit woods, seeking shelter from a sudden, brutal downpour that had caught them unprepared. The mud was caked up to their knees, the ground was treacherously slick, and the only solid structure in sight was a lake house belonging to a dead man.

Unaware of the building's sinister history, the shivering procession snuck past cameramen, grips, PAs and boom operators to find refuge in the drafty basement, above which an oblivious coven of witches was engrossed in an alcohol-fueled game of Truth or Dare.

Just a typical night on the set of 'The Secret Circle.'

AOL TV (along with an intrepid band of fellow reporters) braved the rain -- both real and man-made -- to talk to the cast of the supernatural drama (which just received a full season pick up) while they shot on location at an atmospheric lakeside property. We grilled them on the show's ever-evolving love triangles, upcoming deaths, and the truth about Cassie's father. Spoilers ahead.

by Jean Bentley, posted Aug 8th 2011 11:46AM
Two and a Half Men castAlthough cast and audience members reportedly had to sign a confidentiality agreement at this weekend's taping of the season premiere of 'Two and a Half Men,' naturally the details surrounding the demise of Charlie Sheen's character and the return of former guest stars leaked online immediately. Warning: spoilers ahead.

Photos on TMZ showed Charlie's famous blue striped polo shirt hanging in front of a church surrounded by flowers. Now that the details surrounding his death have leaked, we know why there's no casket -- apparently, while in Paris with Rose (the pair flew to the city of love), he fell into the subway tracks and was killed.

The Trouble With Spoilers & Other Lessons Learned From Six Years at TV Squad

by Bob Sassone, posted Mar 24th 2011 11:30AM
TV Squad old logoThis month marks the sixth anniversary of TV Squad's launch and also my sixth anniversary at the site.

A lot of newbie readers of TV Squad might not realize that back in 2005, we used to snail mail our blog posts to readers and they'd read them on paper. It's true! Then we decided to use this thing called "the Web" to post the stories when we realized that, with the postal rates going up every few years, it just wasn't cost-effective.

This was my first post on TV Squad, where I talked about how much I was looking forward to the big-screen version of 'Bewitched.' I've learned a lot since then, like you shouldn't say that you're looking forward to a big-screen version of a TV show or it might blow up in your face. Here are five other things I've learned since 2005.

'Big Brother 12' - Head of Household Spoilers

by Jackie Schnoop, posted Aug 27th 2010 9:40AM
Big Brother 12 is down to the final fiveLast night's 'Big Brother 12' live double eviction show ended on yet another cliffhanger. Sure, there was a lot of action in the episode itself -- an eviction, a Head of Household competition, nominations, a Power of Veto competition and then a second eviction.

That would leave us with a Head of Household who has no duties for the week unless ... there's another HoH competition. Unlike the normal weeks, the HoH comp won't be aired live. It will air on Sunday's episode. But it's already a done deal in reality. You can wait until Sunday to find out or you can keep on reading.

Beware -- extreme spoilers ahead!

'Big Brother 12' Spoilers - Head of Household Farm Competition

by Jackie Schnoop, posted Aug 13th 2010 7:00PM
Matt watches the Head of Household competitionThey've gone and done it again. They ended the 'Big Brother 12' live show with an HoH competition underway, yet not completed. They're either out of ideas for short competitions or, by leaving viewers with a cliffhanger, they're hoping to increase the ratings for Sunday night's show.

While it would be a hoot if the hamsters all got so tangled up in their ropes that they were still struggling by Sunday night, we all know that's not the case. The competition is over and there's a new Head of Household in place. Plus, that HoH has chosen three people to be Have Nots. You can wait until Sunday night when it airs on television or ... you can keep on reading.

Beware -- extreme spoilers ahead!

'Big Brother 12' Spoilers: New Head of Household

by Jackie Schnoop, posted Aug 6th 2010 7:00PM
The 'True Colors' competition has ended'Big Brother' is messing with us. There are usually two endurance competitions per season, then the one at the end of the season.

We just had an endurance comp two weeks ago. Usually the next one is due the third week of August. Well, not now! The live eviction show ended with our beloved (cough) hamsters standing on a ledge on a spinning paint can while a paint brush slapped them and paint was squirted on them.

But, what's that? That paint can has no one on it? How did that happen? Well, it's because the competition ended. There is a new Head of Household and one person is the sole Have Not for the week. Why wait until the show airs on Sunday night? Don't you want to know the spoilers from the live feeds?

Extreme spoilers ahead. You've been warned.

'Big Brother 12' - Live Feeds Special HoH Report

by Jackie Schnoop, posted Jul 23rd 2010 11:20AM
Brendon and Enzo hang ten on 'Big Brother 12'So ... you're watching 'Big Brother' and waiting to see who wins the Head of Household. What? It's an endurance competition, the first one of the season. Now you know that there's no way those hamsters are going to stay on those surfboards until Sunday night. Yes, that's when the results will air.

But, thanks to the 24/7 live feeds, we know right now who's the new Head of Household. You could know, too. If you knew, you wouldn't jolt awake at night in a panic thinking, "I know one of them won! Which one? Will the powers shuffle sides again? Will Britney win and put half the house on the block?" You could sleep at night and not worry havoc with hamsters. If you want extreme spoilers for Sunday night's show, read on.
