New episodes of Squidbillies?
by Adam Finley, posted Jul 10th 2006 2:02PM
To, answer my own question, yes, Squidbillies is returning to Adult Swim on September 17. I've said it before and I'll say it again: while not every show on Adult Swim thrills me, I'm more than happy to have a few shows in the lineup I don't particularly care for if it means more variety for the rest of the viewing audience. That's not to say I dislike Squidbillies, because it does have some good laughs once in awhile, and it's one of those Adult Swim shows, along with Robot Chicken, that I've been delving into recently after dismissing them when they first aired. I like to think of Adult Swim as a salad bar. I'll just take what I like and leave the rest. Fourteen new episodes of the series are planned.Canada's Teletoon picks up Adult Swim shows

The Detour, Canadian television's late-night cartoon block, has picked up six more Adult Swim shows: 12oz Mouse, Robot Chicken, Space Ghost Coast to Coast, Squidbillies, and Tom Goes to the Mayor. Didn't Space Ghost end a few years ago? I'm a bit surprised by that addition to the line-up. Anyway, these shows will join the returning Adult Swim programs, Aqua Teen Hunger Force; Harvey Birdman, Attorney At Law; and The Venture Bros. Have fun with that, Canadians.Adult Swim: What's coming and what's staying

Adult Swim has announced some new shows that will be coming down the
pike later this year, as well as some of the old standbys that'll be returning. Here's the rundown:
First off, we have Brendon Small's (Home Movies) new series about a heavy metal band, whose official name is now apparently Death Clock Metalocalypse.
The team who created Sealab 2021 is also returning with a new show called Frisky Dingo, about a super hero and a super criminal who aren't always that intrested in fighting one another.
