So when AOL TV got Harry Shum Jr. on the phone last week, we had to ask for some scoop about his furry encounter with the 'Star Wars' star.

Harrison Ford and Chewbacca Fight on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (VIDEO)

by Catherine Lawson, posted Jul 28th 2011 7:15AM
Jimmy Kimmel, Chewbacca and Harrison FordHan Solo and Chewbacca are one of the all-time great movie double acts, but we haven't really seen them together much lately. Has there been a rift in the Millennium Falcon cockpit?

Last night Harrison Ford appeared on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' to promote his new movie 'Cowboys & Aliens,' and Chewbacca stopped by his dressing room.

However, far from being the love-fest we might have expected, the reunion quickly turned ugly.

It seems as though Chewbacca did the nasty with Ford's wife and he's not the type to forgive and forget: "I'm done with that 'Star Wars' crap and I'm done with you!"

As he tossed Chewie out of his dressing room Ford drove the knife in a little further and twisted it: "Daniel Craig's my Wookiee b***h now!" Ouch.

Watch the hilarious expletive-laden video after the jump.

New 'Star Wars' Show Like 'The Godfather,' Still Years Away

by Chris Harnick, posted Jun 13th 2011 2:15PM
Star WarsGeorge Lucas may have hours -- seasons even -- of scripts written for his long-discussed 'Star Wars' TV show, but we know we'll have to wait. How long? Producer Rick McCallum told the Czech Position the wait could be for years.

"We have 50 hours of third-draft scripts, but the problem we have is there is a lot of digital animation; we don't have the technology yet to be able to do them at a price that is safe for television.

"Since we would be financing them, it would be suicide for us to do this [now]. So we are going to wait three or four years," McCallum said, echoing statements made by Lucas.

George Lucas: I Have 50 Hours of 'Star Wars' TV Series Planned

by Chris Harnick, posted May 31st 2011 11:20AM
George LucasA live-action 'Star War's TV show? Yes, it's been talked about before, but George Lucas has been mum on details ... until now.

According to the New York Post, Lucas has 50 hours of a 'Star Wars' TV series planned. That's at least two seasons.

What's the hold up? Technology. Lucas reportedly told G4 that he's waiting for "a different type of technology we can use so it's economically feasible to shoot the shows."

Lucas said the financial difference between producing movies and TV shows is too vast right now.

'Family Guy' Closes Out Its Take on the 'Star Wars' Trilogy With 'It's a Trap!' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted May 23rd 2011 7:31AM
'Family Guy' - 'It's a Trap!'Hardcore fans of 'Family Guy' (Sun., 9PM ET on FOX) have already seen the concluding chapter of Seth MacFarlane's take on the original 'Star Wars' trilogy. (It was released on Blu-Ray and DVD way back on December 21, 2010.) Now, however, everyone got a chance to experience the fun.

While these take place in the 'Family Guy' series, MacFarlane reaches through all of his shows to bring in characters to fill out the vast 'Star Wars' cast. Rallo from 'The Cleveland Show' appears as Nien Nunb while Tim the Bear is the obvious choice for Wicket, the Eewok. From 'American Dad' we get Roger as Moff Jerjerrod and, the obvious choice for Admiral Ackbar, Klaus.

Fans of the first two installments will find more to enjoy here, as MacFarlane continues to show his love for the source material, while still finding plenty to mock. But that's what true fans of 'Star Wars' do.

Stephen Colbert Uses 'Star Wars' to Blast Mike Huckabee's Natalie Portman Single Mom Dig (VIDEO)

by Jeremy Taylor, posted Mar 8th 2011 6:10AM
'The Colbert Report'Mike Huckabee made waves last week when he called Natalie Portman out for "boasting" about being pregnant out of wedlock.

Huckabee's criticism didn't sit well with Stephen Colbert, and he explained why on 'The Colbert Report' (Weeknights, 11:30PM ET on Comedy Central.)

"What are you thinking, Governor? Look, I'm no fan of single mothers either, but it's Natalie Portman we're talking about," Colbert said of the 'Star Wars' Episode I, II and III actress. "That kid she's pregnant with, is Luke Skywalker! Think!"

'Family Guy's' Seth MacFarlane Talks About 'It's A Trap!', the 'Return of the Jedi' Spoof

by Michael Maloney, posted Dec 20th 2010 3:00PM
Seth MacFarlaneSeth MacFarlane has a legion of devoted followers, but he takes nothing for granted.

When TV Squad asked MacFarlane a week ago about the success of 'Family Guy: It's A Trap!' (his spoof on 'Return of the Jedi'), which comes out on Blu-Ray and DVD on Dec. 21, he carefully replied, "We don't know [it's a success] yet. It could bomb. You never know."

Yeah, right. Who doesn't want the highly-anticipated movie as a holiday gift or stocking stuffer? (All three 'Family Guy' 'Star Wars' spoofs are now available, too, on either DVD or Blu-Ray as a boxed set -- 'Laugh It Up Fuzzball: Family Guy Three-Pack.')

Boba Fett Gets His Revenge on the 'Star Wars' Heroes ... At Last (VIDEO)

by Oliver Miller, posted Dec 20th 2010 6:01AM
Boba Fett Gets His Revenge on the 'Star Wars' Heroes ... At LastThey say that revenge is a dish that is best served cold. But then, that's a quote from 'Star Trek.' And we're more concerned with 'Star Wars,' in this instance -- plus some "hot" revenge.

The animated special 'Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode III' (Sun., 11:30PM ET on CN) takes an irreverent look at the 'Star Wars' universe. And the show brings back one of the most beloved figures in geekdom, bounty hunter Boba Fett.

In the real 'Star Wars' movies, the relentless Boba Fett captures Han Solo, delivering him to Jabba the Hutt. But then, Luke Skywalker frees Han Solo -- and Boba is killed when his jetpack is accidentally activated. The bounty hunter dies from ... crashing into a sail barge and falling into a big pit. It's a really lame ending for a really cool bad guy. Ever since then, geeks have wished that Mr. Fett hadn't died. Now, 'Robot Chicken' gives him a second chance.

'The Late Late Show' Takes on 'Star Wars' (VIDEO)

'The Late Late Show' Takes on 'Star Wars'A long time ago ... in a galaxy far, far away -- well, you know the rest. And not that long ago -- but still, you know, about three years ago -- Seth Green began making animated specials mocking 'Star Wars.' And so, on the new 'Late Late Show' (weeknights, 12:37AM ET on CBS), Craig Ferguson and Mr. Green took on the Star Wars saga.

Seth previewed his new 'Robot Chicken'-based Star Wars special; while Craig -- well, Craig mainly asked some questions. Questions such as this one: What is Darth Vader doing struggling with his suit in a bathroom?

Carrie Fisher, Craig Ferguson Have Flirty, Crude Chat Involving the Princess Leia Bikini (VIDEO)

by Aimee Deeken, posted Jul 29th 2010 8:15AM
Carrie Fisher Flirts with Craig Ferguson on 'Late Late Show'Aside from being famous for playing Princess Leia, Carrie Fisher is also known to sometimes be, well, scattered and a bit crazy, in part due to bipolar disorder. She was again exceedingly hyper when she appeared on 'The Late Late Show' (weeknights, 12:37AM ET on CBS), but perhaps this was all an excuse to flirt with Craig Ferguson.

After dancing onto the stage, Fisher took off her glasses and proceeded to "feel around," grasping at air -- but then Ferguson's leg. That progressed into a random discussion on who discovered (?) the clitoris, which related to Christopher Columbus, because both, er, explorers were Italian.

"They accidentally found it. They were looking for a trade route to China," joked Ferguson. Fisher also said she's in the process of losing weight: "I'm trying to get back in the ['Star Wars'] metal bikini," she joked.

When Fisher said she'd wear it for him, he replied, "Alright. Maybe I'll help you find a trade route to China."

Lucasfilm Making Another 'Star Wars' Animated Series

by Brad Trechak, posted Apr 19th 2010 1:00PM
Robot Chicken Star WarsIt's not what you think. It's much worse. Apparently, a Lucasfilm representative at C2E2 confirmed that the company will be making another 'Star Wars' animated series that will serve as a sequel to 'Return of the Jedi' and feature all the original characters from the first trilogy. It will be in the same computer animated format as the current 'Clone Wars' series on Cartoon Network.

Perhaps this will be the comedy series with the 'Robot Chicken' creators that he was referring to in the past. Or perhaps it's a variation of that live-action 'Star Wars' television show that is forthcoming. Or perhaps it's just Lucas messing with the heads of any fans of the franchise even further than he already has.

Anybody who reads the original novels that serve as a sequel to the original trilogy is in for a nasty shock. Lucas has a tendency to ignore concepts that he himself didn't originate that actually enhance his franchise. It's likely that any new series will render those novels as moot as 'Galactica 1980.'
