Bill Hader Has Trouble With His Lines on 'SNL' (VIDEO)
by Oliver Miller, posted Apr 26th 2010 1:15AM
Comedian Bill Hader has been on 'Saturday Night Live' (Sat., 11:30PM ET on NBC) for many years now. He's also starred in such movies as 'Superbad' and 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall.' But even for an experienced comedian, performing on live TV can be tough. And unexpected problems occurred on the latest episode of 'SNL' when Hader started struggling with his lines.Watch the video after the jump.
Dave Franco is a good addition to the cast of Scrubs 2.0
by Jason Hughes, posted Aug 17th 2009 11:05AM
Casting like this makes me hopeful that the new iteration of Scrubs might have a chance. After all, you can't put the entire weight of the series on Cox and Turk. Dave Franco's role in Scrubs is described as charming, conservative, confidently stupid and incredibly entitled."Now I never saw Superbad, but due to my esteemed position here at the Squad, I did get to review the awful Do Not Disturb, that featured Franco as well. In that, he was arrogant and cocky and lazy, which sounds pretty similar to what he'll be getting up to in Scrubs. More importantly, he played that role very well. I found myself wanting to slap him across the face several times. Partially because he was in such a terrible show, sure, but also because of his portrayal.
We never really got the background of that character, but his entitled whining here is because his family donated a wing to the school. I can already see the friction between him and Dr. Cox. On Scrubs 1.0, he'd have been fired immediately like Aziz Ansari (Parks & Recreation) was, but now Cox will have to put up with his crap.
McLovin does a Letterman
by Bob Sassone, posted Jun 17th 2009 5:05PM
Looks like David Letterman isn't the only celebrity to make a joke about someone's daughter having sex. Christopher Mintz-Plasse, from Superbad and Year One, stopped by Fox 5 NY for an interview and said something similar to the host (about 3:20 into the video). This won't be controversial, but her reaction is funny.
Saturday Night Live: Jonah Hill/Mariah Carey - VIDEOS
by Annie Wu, posted Mar 16th 2008 11:05AM
(S33E08) Cold Open: No surprise here, the first thing to get mocked was the Eliot Spitzer sex scandal. Bill Hader's impression was spot-on, as always, and Kristen Wiig did a great job as the pained Mrs. Spitzer. The overall skit was all right, but I wasn't too quick to get my hopes up. After all, the post-strike episodes haven't been too hot, with the last two being particularly hard to sit through, and I wasn't sure how Superbad funnyman Jonah Hill would fare on live TV.Milonakis hearts Apatow - VIDEOS

The video at the end of this post has a lot of swearing, so if that's not your thang, watch this instead.
We all know that Judd Apatow (Freaks and Geeks, Undeclared, Forty Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up) is a man who can do no wrong and who deserves our respect, adulation and fawning worship. However, no one has ever expressed his love for the man quite like Andy Milonakis (The Andy Milonakis Show).
Michael Cera coming to CBS
by Brett Love, posted Nov 27th 2006 11:01AM
Apparently CBS isn't just screwing around with that Innertube thing on their website. The network has signed Michael Cera (Arrested Development) to do a scripted short-form series. The Good Life will be a mockumentary about two aspiring television producers who are convinced that their show is the next big thing. Unfortunately for them, it's not. Cera will be joined by Clark Duke, who you may remember from CSI, but I doubt it. He played Frat Boy #1 two years ago, if that helps. The pair will also both be in Judd Apatow's next film, Super Bad, next year. This is a big step for the networks and new media. It's one thing to have a web only reality show, added bonus clips, or to burn off episodes of your failed series online. But it is an entirely different thing to hire known actors to create a series specifically for online distribution. Now let's see NBC answer by finally producing some more Nobody's Watching episodes.
