(S19E01) CBS just came off the highest-rated season ever of Big Brother. Will they be able to repeat the deed with Survivor: Samoa? You know, it's very possible that they just might do it. That is, if the season premiere is any indication.

Right off the bat, they gave me a reason to watch (other than I write about the show). I want to see Evil Russell knocked down by a woman. He's not to be confused with Good Russell, nor Russell on Big Brother. Nor even my brother, Russ. He's nasty, I tell you!

'Survivor' is back -- this time, with a whopping 20 contestants.

The 'Samoa' cast was revealed bright and early this morning.

Among those you'll see competing for the $1 million prize include a mixologist, two law students and someone already being pegged as the biggest 'Survivor' villain ever.

The 19th season of 'Survivor' will lead off CBS' 2009 fall premiere schedule.

The 'Samoa' edition premieres Thu., Sept. 17, followed by the network's Monday night comedy block, which includes the debut of Jenna Elfman's 'Accidentally on Purpose,' on Sept. 21.

Meanwhile, dates were also added for hit shows like 'Criminal Minds' (Wed., Sept. 23), 'The Mentalist' (Thu., Sept. 24) and the NBC import 'Medium,' premiering Fri. , Sept. 25.
