Craig Ferguson's Robot Sidekick Works 'Red's' Red Carpet (VIDEO)

by Aimee Deeken, posted Oct 15th 2010 7:00AM
Robot Geoff Interviews 'Red' Stars at Premiere"Geoff Peterson" can be much more than Craig Ferguson's straight man robot on 'The Late Late Show' (weeknights, 12:37AM ET on CBS). He has red-carpet talent: the ability to catch movie stars off-guard, make them laugh and say things like "I love you" (surely something red-carpet reporters rarely hear from celebrities).

At the 'Red' premiere, Geoff made Richard Dreyfuss ponder this: "Which would you rather -- quail hunting with Dick Cheney or carpooling with Mel Gibson?"

Ferguson had advised John Malkovich to slap Geoff when he visited the red carpet. But after a flimsy tap to his face skull, the two hugged and made up. Sylvester Stallone suggested carbohydrates for Geoff and later remarked to Bruce Willis: "Trouble is, we're gonna end up looking like that one day."

But guess which famous (publicity-shy) actress dissed Geoff?

Jason Schwartzman Talks Sly Stallone -- and the Cheeto on His Suit (VIDEO)

by Aimee Deeken, posted Aug 12th 2010 6:35AM
Jason Schwartzman's Cheeto on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'Talia Shire, Mrs. Rocky Balboa, is Jason Schwartzman's mom. Schwartzman has had only one run-in with Rocky, er, Sylvester Stallone, but it altered his teen psyche forever.

"I was cocky, and I would answer the phone to try to throw people off," he shared on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (weeknights, 12:05AM ET on ABC). But when Sly called, let's just say that didn't pan out.

"I'm distracted by what appears to be a Cheeto on your suit," noted Jimmy Kimmel. It's the actor's fake Cheeto pin, and it apparently gave him some trouble at the airport's security checkpoint.

Sly Stallone Changes Iconic 'Rocky' Scene Due to Farting Dog (VIDEO)

by Donald Deane, posted Aug 10th 2010 12:30PM
Imagine if the iconic scene of Rocky running up the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art had instead featured the fighter carrying a farting dog. Sylvester Stallone said on 'Live With Regis and Kelly' (weekdays, syndicated) that he originally envisioned his character carrying a 115-lb. dog while training, but had to nix the idea due to doggy flatulence.

Sylvester Stallone Talks About Schwarzenegger, Respect, and Being on Fire (VIDEO)

by Bob Sassone, posted Aug 5th 2010 2:59PM
Sylvester StalloneIf you've seen commercials for the new action movie 'The Expendables,' you know that the film stars Sylvester Stallone, and he got a couple of other big action stars -- California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis -- to make cameos in the new film that seems to star every movie hero of the past 20 years.

Stallone stopped by 'Good Morning America' (weekdays at 7AM ET on ABC) to talk about the new movie, how stunts might cost him his life one day, and how just five years ago people would have roasted hot dogs on his head if he was on fire instead of putting him out.

Sylvester Stallone Talks Arnold Schwarzenegger's Acting on 'Expendables' (VIDEO)

Sylvester Stallone Talks Working with Arnold Schwarzenegger on 'Expendables'Sylvester Stallone says working with Arnold Schwarzenegger on 'The Expendables' was 30 years in the making.

"I've tried to work so many times with him ... I've always been turned down for one reason or another," explains Stallone when he visits 'The Tonight Show' (weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC).

This time, Schwarzenegger readily accepted the offer to appear in a big scene with other iconic action heroes. "Just to hear you and Schwarzenegger have a conversation --" says Jay Leno, launching into a Schwarzenegger imitation. "Just to watch you two talk is fantastic."

Stallone joins in with his impression of Ah-nold, and says the governor can imitate him, too. As the 'Expendables' director, Stallone was a little worried that Schwarzenegger's acting skills would be a bit rusty. But, as he joked in mock-Arnold: "I kill cue cards."

Sylvester Stallone Shows Off Daughters, Broken Neck on 'Late Show' (VIDEO)

Stallone Shows Off Daughters, Broken Neck on 'Late Show'Sylvester Stallone revealed two very disparate aspects of his life on the 'Late Show' (weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS). There was the macho, kick-ass side with which we're all familiar. (He had the X-ray of his broken neck for those needing a visual aid.)

And then the estrogen-packed family side: His wife and three young daughters were introduced from backstage. The girls bounced up and down on the green-room couch. "A...D...D," crooned Stallone. They waved and yelled "hi" to the camera. "Keep that sugar goin', honey!" joked their father.

David Letterman then showed Stallone's X-ray, asking him to explain the "foreign object" in his neck vertebrae. During a fight scene for 'The Expendables,' wrestler "Stone Cold" Steve Austin gave Stallone a hairline fracture.

"So they had to take cadaver bones -- which means I have a couple of ghosts walking around in my neck -- cadaver bones put together, and screw it in," explained the actor, who also directed the film.

Seven people we'd like to see on Dancing With The Stars - VIDEO

by Eliot Glazer, posted Feb 9th 2009 9:11AM
Jackie StalloneWell, it's official. Yesterday, ABC announced their new line-up for the eighth season (!) of Dancing With The Stars. And, as usual, the names chosen range from weird to ... even weirder (really, David Alan Grier?). Not that we necessarily disagree with the producers' choices, but we'd like to take a moment to suggest seven potential choices of people we believe to be fully primed for a spot on the dance floor.

Listen up, DWTS producers. Season nine is just around the corner, and Alan Alda is probably waiting by the phone. (...In our wildest dreams, that is.)

everhart jackson maples divorceWhat do Shar Jackson, Angie Everhart and Marla Maples have in common? They're all the ex-wives of famous men (or famous by proxy if you're talking about Kevin Federline). That alone is enough to land them a show on television. ABC will soon launch a reality series called The Ex-Wives Club, where the celebrity ex-wives will help other recent divorcees reclaim their lives. With the help of a counselor, Jackson, Everhart and Maples will take a week to re-build the self esteem of men and women who have recently split from their partners. The divorce rate in this country is so high that this show has the potential to appeal to a lot of people.
