Ann Coulter has the most annoying voice ever

by Jane Boursaw, posted Oct 19th 2009 10:33AM
Ann CoulterI don't fit neatly into any one political category. There are things I like about the Republican party and things I like about the Democratic party. I watch Fox News and CNN equally, and there are talking heads on both networks that I like and don't like.

I will say this, though: Ann Coulter has one of the most annoying voices on TV right now. It's hard to listen to what she's saying, because her whiny voice is so distracting. Sometimes when I'm just listening to her but not watching her, I almost expect to look over at the TV and see a cartoon character droning on about ... whatever.

I don't watch Saturday Night Live regularly, but surely someone must have spoofed her by now. With her nasal voice, hair fixation, and political opinions, she's like a skit waiting to happen.

Aside from their political views, what other commentators just bug the heck out of you? (Yes, I realize I'm going to be in the eye of the storm here; keep it as clean as possible!)

All Jay wants for Festivus - VIDEO

by Jay Black, posted Dec 24th 2007 11:41AM
Nice pole. Hehhehehehe. This works better if you think of me saying it like Beevis would.Like Moe from The Simpsons, I usually spend Festivus time with my head in an oven and a "no funeral" sign taped to my back. This year, though, is a little different, because a) I just found out my oven is electric and b) TV Squad asked me to compile a list of the things I wanted for Festivus. There's no time for holiday depression when an editorially-mandated list of things-that-will-never-come-to-pass is waiting to be written!

So, off with the noose and on with the list...

Fred Armisen's iTunes playlist

by Anna Johns, posted Jan 9th 2006 9:32AM
Fred Armisen, one of few funny things about Saturday Night Live these days, has a celebrity playlist on iTunes that is about unusual as Fred seems to be. The strangest track has to be "====" by Oval (pronounced o-VAL, according to Fred). I'm not even sure that it's music. It sounds like a sound check with an over-modulated microphone. Second most unusual track: Pocket Calculator by Kraftwerk. It sounds like a video game. Fred says he saw the band recently and "For their encore, they didn't appear on stage. It was robots of them. What is better than that? Seriously, what?" Okay, I have to agree that would be pretty awesome. The rest of the list includes familiar groups like Wilco, Talking Heads, Gorillaz, The Clash and Sleater-Kinney. And, of course, he included a Prince song. After all, Fred does a kick-ass impression of the guy.
