'Law and Order: SVU' Preview: Ripped From Twitter

'Law & Order: SVU' returns with two new episodes tonight (9PM ET, NBC), one of which is not just ripped from the headlines -- but ripped from star Ice T's Twitter.Ice T told us in November that the show planned to write an episode around a Twitter war he was involved in over the sale of a book called 'The Pedophile's Guide to Love and Pleasure.' During a recent conference call with reporters, executive producer Neal Baer said, "I rewrote a scene for Ice-T to take that position, or Fin to take that position, which actually reflects his own point of view that he says something like, 'I got to tell you that I'm all for the First Amendment, but not when it lets perverts do stuff like this.'"
Taryn Manning guest stars in the episode, 'Possessed,' which is the second of tonight's episodes.

(S08E09) I can't decide what I liked better about this episode-- Bob Saget or the return of Mariska Hargitay. Det. Olivia Benson comfortably slipped back in to being Det. Elliot Stabler's partner without much fanfare. No fanfare, really. She barely got a "Welcome Back" from Elliot. Casey was cold toward her, even though Olivia came back in time to help her get a conviction on a rape case. I think Det. Munch gave her the warmest reception. All these police types: bottling up their emotions! Sheesh!TV Squad Hot Topics
