He was just days out of prison when Swift invited him to join her Atlanta concert. While he wrestled with a dilemma, saying, "The dilemma becomes street cred [or] Hollywood." He even went so far as to think about some people calling such an appearance "career suicide."

But T.I. decided to do it, though he was still cautious to make sure he kept it clean for this performance. "I could see the headline now," he said. "T.I. corrupts the minds of 20,000 youngsters at the Taylor Swift concert."

Taylor Swift on Dating While in the Public Eye (VIDEO)

by Donald Deane, posted May 11th 2011 9:00AM
As a celebrity, it must be difficult for Taylor Swift to maintain a relationship while the media scrutinizes her every move. But, Swift doesn't seem to be complaining. On 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' (weekdays, syndicated), she seemed resigned to public scrutiny and criticized celebs who claim invasion of privacy.

"I think it's just obnoxious if I complain about anything. I hear people talk about, like, 'Oh, and the intrusions on my privacy.' It's like, there are a million other jobs you could have had. And, for me, I've just come to an acceptance of the fact that this is my life," Swift said.

Taylor Swift, 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno'Taylor Swift thinks Jay Leno is hilarious. Only maybe not in the way he hopes he's funny. As evidenced on 'The Tonight Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC), Leno clearly bombed with what he was hoping was a rather charming and funny little impression of a fashion photographer.

He was talking to Swift about her recent work for Cover Girl, which she says is a great deal of fun, and even involves a thing called a "leaping coach."

But then Leno decided to ask her if those photographers really act the way we see them in the media, saying things like "Come on, baby! Gimme a smile!"

Dane Cook Goes Shirtless, Flashes His 'Taylor Swift Tattoo' at ... Taylor Swift (VIDEO)

Dane Cook Goes Shirtless, Flashes His 'Taylor Swift Tattoo' at ... Taylor Swift After appearing on 'The Tonight Show' (weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC), singer Taylor Swift may no longer be so 'Innocent.' Though she might be a little 'Haunted' after gazing upon comedian Dane Cook's naked chest. ( ... Are these Taylor Swift song references working for you, by the way?)

While talking to Jay Leno, the comic revealed the depths of his love for the singer -- the utter, utter depths. "I'm a huge fan," Dane gushed. He then called Taylor "America's Sweetheart." How flattering! Let's stop right there, shall we? But it was not to be. "Here we go!" Cook added, suddenly pulling his sweater off. Uh-oh.

Dane tossed the sweater away, revealing a perfectly hairless chest -- emblazoned with a huge tattoo of the singer's face, with "TAYLOR" written underneath in an "airbrushed T-shirt-style" script. Next, Cook picked up an acoustic guitar -- and started to play. "Taylor Swift ... " he sang, then paused for a long time. Wait. What rhymes with "Swift?"

In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, Kanye appeared on live TV and notoriously said: "George Bush doesn't care about black people." Taylor Swift Shows Off Her Japanese Skills on 'Late Show' (VIDEO)

by Oliver Miller, posted Oct 27th 2010 3:38AM
Taylor Swift Shows Off Her Japanese Skills on 'Late Show'Singer Taylor Swift is a world traveler these days. And she's taking pains not to be an "ugly American" while touring in support of her new album. Recently, Swift traveled to countries like Italy, France and Japan. But as the singer told David Letterman on 'Late Show' (weeknights, 11:35PM on CBS), when she's in a foreign land, she makes an effort to speak the local lingo.

Swift's efforts went so far as to include mastering enough Japanese to talk during an entire 90-minute concert. Dave couldn't believe Taylor knew that much Japanese: "No you don't!" But the young woman was blasé about the whole thing. "You just memorize some of it ... you figure out what it means."

When Letterman asked for examples, Taylor favored him with such phrases as "Nippon saikou," "Tanoshii, ne Osaka?" and "Kawaii!"* Pretty impressive!
