by Laura Prudom, posted Nov 4th 2011 8:45AM
Conan officiates gay weddingIn case you hadn't heard, Conan O'Brien decided to "push the envelope" on late night TV last night, when he celebrated the one year anniversary of his TBS show by officiating the marriage between 'Conan' costume designer Scott Cronick and his partner David Gorshein.

The ceremony marked the end of O'Brien's visit to New York City, where the comedian hosted 'Late Night' on NBC for 16 years.

Apparently, Cronick and Gorshein were already planning to wed while the show was visiting New York, since gay marriage is still not legal in California, but instead of marrying at city hall, O'Brien suggested they perform the ceremony on stage at the Beacon Theater instead.

Eva Longoria Introduced Victoria Beckham to the Fun That Is a Baby Shower (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted May 17th 2011 5:07AM
Eva Longoria, 'Lopez Tonight'Victoria Beckham may look like she has it all, but there was one thing she knew nothing about. Of course, it was more of a cultural thing, but Eva Longoria still rectified it, as she explained on 'Lopez Tonight' (Weeknights, 12AM ET on TBS).

She threw Beckam a baby shower. "They don't do showers in England." To make matters worse, "she was really nervous because she's not a game person."

Longoria's hairdresser egged Beckham on, advising her to wear a waterproof dress and bring an umbrella. But Beckham clearly had fun, as evidenced by a photo she Tweeted of several party-goers dressed in toilet paper dresses.

Ralph Macchio Goes on 'Lopez Tonight' to Prove He Doesn't Wear a Toupee (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted May 13th 2011 6:26AM
Ralph Macchio, 'Lopez Tonight'Way back on March 22, during the first week of the current season of 'Dancing with the Stars,' George Lopez took to the stage on 'Lopez Tonight' (Weeknights, 12AM ET on TBS) and implied that Ralph Macchio was wearing a toupée.

Macchio went back on the show to defend himself, because apparently the story had gotten a little out of control.

"It was like 'The National Enquirer' calling, 'People' Magazine. Is he wearing a toup'? Is he wearing a toup?'" Macchio lamented. "No, it's real."

He even allowed Lopez to give it a good tug and prove that it was real hair.

Nick Cannon Jokes About Mariah Carey and Their Twins in the Delivery Room (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted May 12th 2011 5:36AM
Nick Cannon, 'Lopez Tonight'If George Lopez was hoping to talk to Nick Cannon, the excited new father of twins on 'Lopez Tonight' (Weeknights, 12AM ET on TBS), he may have been disappointed. Instead, he got Nick Cannon the comedian, talking about his experiences in that delivery room with wife Mariah Carey.

Of course, we suspect that's exactly what they were looking for, and it was funny. But we still don't know what happened.

We suspect this part didn't: "I had a camera in one hand, I had the iPod in the other, the video camera, the doctor was holding the light for me," Cannon said. "I was like, 'Get that angle.'"

George Lopez Dethrones Chris Hemsworth After Epic Whac-a-Mole Battle (VIDEO)

Chris Hemsworth, 'Lopez Tonight'Somebody tell Kenneth Branagh he needs to go back for re-shoots on 'Thor.' With Chris Hemsworth as his guest, George Lopez decided to challenge his hammer prowess on 'Lopez Tonight' (Weeknights, 12AM ET on TBS).

"I want to challenge Thor, the God of Thunder to see if he can beat me at a game of Whac-a-Mole," Lopez said.

Complete with viking hats for "safety," as Hemsworth indicated, it was a brutal challenge. Sure, Hemsworth and Lopez spent as much time hitting one another with their mallets as they did the moles in the game, but in the end there could be only one.

Paul Walker Tells Lopez That The Rock and Vin Diesel 'Lubed' Each Other Up (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted May 5th 2011 5:08AM
Paul Walker, 'Lopez Tonight'Paul Walker may have busted open a trade secret he should have left buried about the set of 'Fast Five' during his appearance on 'Lopez Tonight' (Weeknights, 12AM ET on TBS). He certainly seemed pretty worried about the bizarre details he laid out there for us all to imagine.

According to Walker, there were scenes in the film where the actors might have wanted to look sweaty, but it wasn't hot enough to have it occur naturally.

"You gotta use some body lube," he said. "You got Dwayne [Johnson] and Vin [Diesel] doing a lot of lubing each other up."

Kaley Cuoco Didn't Tell Her Parents About Her Nude Photo in 'Allure' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted May 4th 2011 5:58AM
Kaley Cuoco, 'Lopez Tonight''Allure' continued their annual tradition of celebrity nudes tastefully done, with Kaley Cuoco of 'The Big Bang Theory' appearing in this year's issue. She talked about the shoot on 'Lopez Tonight' (Weeknights, 12AM ET on TBS) and seemed quite confident and comfortable in her decision to do it.

Unfortunately, that confidence didn't come on early enough or strongly enough for her to tell her parents about it before the issue hit stands.

Actually, she did tell them she was doing a photo shoot for 'Allure' magazine, she just neglected the nude part. That way they'd be sure to pick up a copy and flip through it looking to find her and then find way more than a parent probably ever wants to see of their grown child.

On 'Lopez Tonight' (Weeknights, 12AM ET on TBS), McBride talked about the video, which is a follow up to the 1987 smash '(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party!).'

'Make Some Noise' features McBride as MCA, as well as Seth Rogen and Elijah Wood to round out the on-screen representations of the Beastie Boys themselves.

Terrence Howard Plays Spanish Music With the Band on 'Lopez Tonight' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Apr 7th 2011 5:26AM
Terrence Howard, 'Lopez Tonight'Terrence Howard proved on 'Lopez Tonight' (Weeknights, 12AM ET on TBS) that music knows no boundaries. He professed a great love for music in general, saying "That's all I think about!"

But the actor has a special affection for Spanish music, despite the language barrier. He never learned to speak Spanish.

"So I've made up a lot of words ... with a lot of songs," he admitted.

When George Lopez asked him if he wanted to take the stage with the band and perform, Howard was all for it. While we thought he was capable enough on the guitar, his voice wasn't the strongest. We have heard worse among finalists on 'American Idol,' though.

Drew Carey Honors LeBron Bet, George Lopez to Present 'Price Is Right' Showcase (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Apr 6th 2011 6:59AM
Drew Carey is a man of his word. It was proven on 'Lopez Tonight' (Weeknights, 12AM ET on TBS) when George Lopez reminded him of a bet the two of them made the last time Carey was a guest. To give you an idea of the bet, it was before LeBron James had announced he was leaving Cleveland for Miami.

"I'll bet you $1,000 I think LeBron's staying in Cleveland," Carey said at the time. "And if he leaves, I'll let you come on 'The Price Is Right' and present a Showcase of your choice."

But that was then, and this is now. "Can I present a Showcase?" Lopez asked tonight.
