New 'True Blood' Poster: VILF
HBO sure knows its audience. As part of a 12-part weekly marketing campaign, the cable network has released a teaser poster for 'True Blood' season 3 with four simple letters: VILF.The new poster simply states "VILF" in big, bold white letters on a red background with a smaller bit of programming information in the bottom right corner. The acronym is a play on the popular slang term MILF, replacing "mother" with "vampire."

David Simon's Treme gets a teaser trailer and a premiere date

David Simon, creator of The Wire, is shifting his lens from the mean streets of Baltimore to post-Katrina New Orleans with Treme. The HBO series is set in a Crescent City neighborhood rich in Créole and African American history. Unlike The Wire, Treme will tighten its scope to focus on the musicians and working class people living among the city's ongoing reconstruction efforts.
The Wire was a dense and sprawling tale, unearthing corruption and secrets everywhere from grimy back alleys to city hall. Treme's reportedly smaller scope recalls Simon's first series, Homicide: Life on the Street. The pioneering NBC drama centered on the tough and streetwise detectives sweating away at a Baltimore police precinct. Simply put, the show was a masterpiece that offered a rich, compelling and sometimes avant-garde micro-study of overworked cops.
The Sex and the City 2 movie trailer is out!
In mid-October, spoilers about the Sex and the City movie sequel started to leak as shooting begun. It won't spoil the fun if I confirm that the four ladies -- Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall and Kristin Davis -- are back and so are Chris Noth, Evan Handler and Jason Lewis.Today, it's time to open your first Christmas gift as the first Sex and the City 2 trailer has been released!
Trailer and a few slight spoilers coming up!
Venture Bros. Season Three teaser sans shrieking laughter - VIDEO
Those of you Venture Bros. fans that watched the Season Three teaser I posted in my NY Comic-Con report probably didn't catch all the jokes. After all, the footage was a recording of a recording and the massive auditorium was packed with people screaming and laughing throughout the entire thing. Heck, I was actually there in-person and I could barely tell what was going on.Quickstop Entertainment has finally posted high-quality versions of the exclusive teaser. Now you can watch it crouched over your laptop, ears pressed to your cheap speakers, the way media is meant to be enjoyed. Regardless, it looks like we are in for quite a season. According to Jackson Publick, Doc Hammer only had three and a half completed episodes to use for this trailer and this is definitely not a collection of the best of Season Three. If the best is truly still to come, then I'm sure the new season, starting June 1, will be nothing short of crazy spectacular.
NBC releases teaser-trailer for the new Knight Rider series
I'm sure that someone, somewhere is annoyed that, with the release of the new Knight Rider, NBC is completely ignoring the Knight Rider continuity established in Knight Rider 2000 and Knight Rider 2010. If you're that person, I'd highly suggest a) not following the link and b) finding the help you so desperately need. For the rest of us, enjoy this teaser trailer for the new Knight Rider series. There's not much to be gleaned from it except the obvious: KITT is no longer a TransAM, but rather a Ford Mustang. The other big news that might come as a shocker (Spoiler Warning): it's no longer Michael driving KITT, it's Mike. That's right, Knight Rider, welcome to the name-shortening 21st century!
There are other questions that we can only guess at until the show premiers in February...
Promo for Battlestar Galactica: Razor movie - VIDEO
Last night, SciFi aired the first promo for the upcoming Battlestar Galactica movie and today it's up on YouTube. We all know Battlestar Galactica: Razor is about the Pegasus and what happened to it between the time the Cylons started a war and it met up with the Galactica. Our favorite characters (Starbuck, Admiral Adama, Apollo) are also in the movie so it appears to start as the war with the Cylons begins and then the Pegasus somehow gets separated from the rest of the group. Of course, the promo doesn't reveal much, but it was enough to
Battlestar Galactica: Razor airs on Sci Fi in November.

New teaser for Simpsons movie
The first part of this new teaser features the same dancing CGI bunny and flowers as the other teaser for The Simpsons movie, but keep watching, because this is in fact brand new. Click here to watch it (WMV file), courtesy of Empire. I found this one much funnier than the last teaser, and I'm still as excited as child in a peppermint robot store* to see this movie in its entirety instead of all these little tidbits they keep tossing out to fans like bread crumbs tossed before pigeons. I can't really say much about it without giving away, so if you're still reading this, stop and click on the link and enjoy. Aside from the Comic Con footage that was leaked online, this is the second time I've laughed out loud at clips from this movie. Stoked is what I am. The movie hits theaters July 27, 2007.
*Robots made of peppermint. You can play with them and then eat them. That would be awesome.

ABC to pacifiy Lost fans during long break
Lost is over until February 7th. Tonight, ABC is filling Lost's time slot with a new series, Day Break. (Think: Groundhog Day meets Die Hard) To keep Lost fans murmuring about the show, the network plans to air teasers from next year's episodes during the entire run of Day Break. But, you don't have to watch Day Break because the 30-second clips will also be available on ABC's Lost webpage every Thursday... and probably all over the internet immediately after they air. The network is also keeping the first six episodes of Lost available on its website for refreshers or in case you want to watch that Sawyer/Kate sex scene again. And to keep fans from bitching about the big, fat hiatus, the network has also started up its own Lost wiki, which it wants fans to create the content.Watch the Strangers with Candy trailer
Who got the Strangers with Candy movie teaser trailer? Adam got the Strangers with
Candy movie teaser trailer. Well, okay, actually ThinkFilm, the film's distributor, has it, but they posted the
bad boy on YouTube and I've stuck it up here for your viewing pleasure. Check it out after the jump. The voiceover on
the trailer describes the movie as the prequel to the "hit" Comedy Central series. Well, I wouldn't call it a
"hit" because I think it actually did quite poorly in the ratings. But then, that just meant more for those of
us who thought this was one of the smartest, funniest comedies to hit television in the last several years. I am
infinitely stoked. Awash in a sea of stoke, I am. Anyway, click below and enjoy. The movie will open nationwide in
July. Death Clock Metalocalypse teaser
If you never saw Home Movies, you missed one of the best shows to hit
the airwaves in the last several years, animated or otherwise. The show fared okay on Adult Swim for a short time,
after being rescued from UPN, but viewers gravitated toward weirder shows like Space Ghost and Aqua
Teen, leaving Home Movies to eventually whither and fall off the vine. Well, as I mentioned before, creator
Brendon Small is bringing a new show to Adult Swim in August called Death Clock Metalocalypse. The new
show is about a world-famous death metal band and may seem a far cry from Small's other show about a shy but
quick-witted kid who makes movies with his friends, but Small's love of RAWK was evident even on that
show, especially in the form of older kid Dwayne and his garage band. Death Clock Metalocalypse sounds like
the perfect mix of over-the-top, ear-busting chord thrashing mixed with the same dry and subtle humor as his earlier
work. YouTube has an extended teaser for the new series, which you can watch after the jump. I've seen segments of this
teaser on Adult Swim, but I'm not sure if they've ever played the whole thing or not. Enjoy, regardless. Is The Simpsons movie finally happening?
How long have they been talking about a Simpsons movie? About twenty
billion years now? It seems us fans have been bombarded with supposed "real news," rumors, and gossip about
our favorite yellow family making it to the big screen for longer than we can remember. At one point I even heard they
would be coming to the big screen in the form of short segments to be shown before the feature.
Well, according to reports, a teaser for an honest to goodness, bona fide Simpsons movie was shown before Ice Age 2: The Meltdown. I didn't see this movie because I hated the first Ice Age, but did any of you happen to see it? Can you verify the claim? If eveything they're reporting is true, we should be seeing the film in July 2007.
