by Donald Deane, posted Apr 19th 2010 4:00PM
We're not quite sure why Chris Kattan appeared on 'The Bonnie Hunt Show' (weekdays, syndicated) today sporting a shirt that changes color along with his body temperature. And, apparently, neither is he.Kattan demonstrates the color-changing power of the shirt by breathing on a portion of it, creating a patch of white. "Why did I buy this stupid thing? Like, if I'm sweating it's going to go .... " Kattan said, lifting his jacket to reveal streaks of white starting at his armpit that run the length of his shirt. Eww.

David Duchovny Says Parents 'Too Involved' in Kids' Lives (VIDEO)
by Donald Deane, posted Apr 16th 2010 4:00PM
We're glad you're not our daddy, David Duchovny. According to Duchovny, the problem with kids today is that parents are far too involved in their lives, and not hands-off like his father was with him, he said on 'The Bonnie Hunt Show' (weekdays, syndicated)."Parents are just way too involved in kids' lives now," Duchovny said. "It's true. My son, when he was three-years-old, he was in t-ball, and there were forty parents watching these kids miss a t-ball. I had to beg my father to come to the little league championship game, right? So, by the time these kids are five, their parents have seen them in 700 sporting events. And it's too much."

'Deadliest Catch's' Sig Hansen Insults His Older Female Fans (VIDEO)
by Harley W. Lond, posted Apr 9th 2010 6:54PM
Man overboard! The 'Deadliest Catch's' Sig Hansen didn't score any points with Bonnie Hunt-- or the audience -- on Friday's edition of 'The Bonnie Hunt Show' (weekdays, syndicated). Hunt likes the show -- "Why are we so hooked on this show? I love this show" she said. But the captain wasn't sure about his show's popularity. It's a "guy's soap opera," he said. Then he added, "We have a lot of fans who are women in their later years." Offended, Hunt said "Well I watch it all the time." Sensing he had put his foot in his mouth, the captain put it in even deeper. "You're in the younger crowd. So you're more after my brother Edgar," he said. "I get the older ones -- the ones that gravity has affected." Those were fighting words for Hunt.

Jennifer Love Hewitt's Worst Date Ever (VIDEO)
by Donald Deane, posted Apr 9th 2010 4:30PM
If this story by Jennifer Love Hewitt is any indication, then dating for celebrities isn't any more pleasant than it is for the rest of us. On 'The Bonnie Hunt Show' (weekdays, syndicated), Hewitt said her worst dating experience was with a man sporting snakeskin loafers and hair like Donald Trump, who presented her with a childish *NSYNC backpack and brought altoids "for their kiss at the end of the night." As if things could get any worse, Hewitt said that, during their date, the man got hit by a ball while in a batting cage and fell to the ground "crying for his mommy." At the end of the night during their goodbye kiss, Hewitt feigned a sore throat. But, this didn't seem to deter her suitor, who proclaimed that Hewitt "might be the one."

by Donald Deane, posted Apr 8th 2010 4:30PM
We imagine that, for most kids, visiting dad at work isn't as exciting as when Thomas Gibson's kids stop by the set of 'Criminal Minds.' In fact, Gibson's two boys were once lucky enough to have a makeup artist for the show place fake latex bullet holes on their hands on arms, he said on 'The Bonnie Hunt Show' (weekdays, syndicated).

Smoove has a thing for mosquitoes -- he hates them (but then who doesn't) and riffed some funny bits on the insects. "I never trust mosquitoes at all," he told Hunt. "Ever see a mosquito?" Smoove jumped up and imitated a mosquito flying; mosquitoes, in his opinion, move "like horny old men."

Things on 'The Bonnie Hunt Show' (weekdays, syndicated) got a little risqué ... while the crew celebrated the birth of stage manager Alec Potter's baby. We like spicy food too, but this is ridiculous! Bonnie Hunt polishes off a half-filled bottle of hot sauce for charity on 'The Bonnie Hunt Show' (weekdays, syndicated), then attempts to cool her seared taste buds by splashing herself in the face with a glass of milk.To her credit, Hunt makes her way through the hot sauce in record time and only seems to regret her decision toward the end. Note Hunt's pained expression and the delighted applause from her guests and audience when she douses herself with milk.

by Chris Harnick, posted Apr 1st 2010 4:50PM
No part is too small. Rob Corddry learned that early on in his career.Corddry stopped by 'The Bonnie Hunt Show' (weekdays, syndicated) and Bonnie surprised him with video from his first TV acting gig. "I'm so excited to be on TV -- 'I made it, mom!' -- and I'm fully covered in this like amusement park costume." Corddry played the "happy muskrat." As if that wasn't embarrassing enough, the TV show didn't use his voice. Only the actor's leg made the cut.
Poor Rob, we're sure it didn't help to have Bonnie laughing so hard after watching the clip.

Ever wonder what a Russian version the 'The Bonnie Hunt Show' (weekdays, syndicated) would be like? Well, you're in luck because here's a special glimpse!Somehow we don't think slapping a blonde wig on a burly Russian man makes the host as charming as Bonnie Hunt, but we did enjoy those vodka cupcakes -- yes, it's just a small bottle of vodka in a cupcake, it's still funny.

by Oliver Miller, posted Mar 30th 2010 5:20PM
Legendary 88-year-old actress Betty White appeared on the season finale of the ABC sitcom 'The Middle,' alongside 11 year-old star Atticus Shaffer. And so, as a guest on 'The Bonnie Hunt Show' (weekdays, syndicated), Shaffer got the question: Since you're so young, do you even know who Betty White is? The precocious actor handled the question with aplomb. "I like to know who I'm working with, so I looked her up... she's like an icon, basically."Shaffer also recognized White from a recent "Snickers" commercial, which is great. But truly, we hope that the younger generation doesn't only remember White for her one-time job selling candy bars.
