by Oliver Miller, posted Apr 6th 2010 9:20PM
Ryan Seacrest appeared on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' (weekdays, syndicated) on Tuesday in order to take audience questions about 'American Idol.' Also appearing with him, as you may have guessed, was his 'Idol' co-star ... Ellen DeGeneres! A question from an audience member named Yolanda centered on Seacrest's stormy relationship with Simon Cowell. Seacrest and Cowell have recently been fighting during this past season of 'Idol.'Watch the video after the jump.
Stump the King - Bernie Mac
by Paul Goebel, posted Aug 11th 2008 7:29AM
One day in 2001, I was having lunch with a friend and we were talking about the new fall shows. We discussed shows that we thought weren't going to make it as well as shows we really enjoyed. Towards the end of the meal we started to discuss The Tick and how we were both excited to see the live version that was premiering later in the season. I remember turning to my friend and saying, "Isn't there another show premiering on FOX later in the season?" We couldn't think of which show it was and so went back to discussing The Tick.
The show we were trying to think of was The Bernie Mac Show and five years after The Tick had come and gone Bernie's show had become one of the funniest family sitcoms on television.
Sidekicks and Supernova: Entertainment Weekly in 60 seconds

EW picks the 50 Best Sidekicks of All-Time. Ed McMahon is number 1, but I know people are going to think there are some choics left off this list.- Gary Susman just doesn't understand some of the contestants on Rock Star: Supernova.
- What TV show music makes you want to tune in?
- New DVDs: The Ellen Show gets a B+, while the first season of Weeds gets the same. The Adventures of Brisco County set gets an A- (review not online).
- And the EW PopWatch blog has a few things to say about Retro Crush's list of the 30 Best Game Show Hosts of All-Time. Me too. Sorry, Gene Rayburn should probably be on the list, but not #1, and Bill Cullen should be higher than 7.
