the real housewives of new jersey
According to Bravo, the live tour will give fans "the chance to get up-close and personal with their favorite cast members." Look for the ladies to discuss their biggest televised moments and fights, reveal cast secrets and interact with the audience in a question and answer format." The live tour, like many fan conventions, will feature various packages to give fans access to the Bravolebrities. The Red Carpet Package will give fans access to a pre-show cocktail party, hosed by 'The Real Housewives,' walk a red carpet, receive a tour laminate and premium seating.
Cast members from 'New York,' 'New Jersey,' 'Orange County,' 'Atlanta' and even 'Miami' are scheduled to appear. Good news for 'Real Housewives of Miami' fans. See a full list of scheduled attendees below.
She is, however, consistently rude to every one of her parents, acting like the worst kind of spoiled rich kid you could ever imagine. Now, we'll concede that staging an intervention to talk to her about her horrible behavior at a fancy public restaurant isn't the best idea. That said, the cameras might not have helped either.
Suddenly, Ashley has to also be concerned about what the people in the restaurant are thinking and what the viewers at home will think when they watch the footage. It's hard to have a real conversation and get her to let down her defensive walls when she feels like she has to "perform" for the audiences.
I refuse to believe that people really bother them about their fame on a daily basis. Then again, you have to have a healthy sense of self and a ton of confidence to go on one of those shows anyway, so it shouldn't be that surprising.
The latest housewife to delude herself into thinking she'll have a recording career is 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' star Melissa Gorga. Listen to 'On Display,' then judge me for having enough of a working knowledge of 'Housewives' singles to declare that she might actually have the best voice of them all.
(Remember the Battle of the Brownstone back in May after Kathy criticized Teresa's parenting skills?)
Teresa sat down with Melissa to explain the origins of the bad feeling between the two. Turns out that Kathy did something unforgivable and unfamilial: "I was her only cousin on her mother's side here, in America, and she didn't ask me to be in her wedding."
Heinous. So, Teresa got her revenge by not asking Kathy to be in her wedding. And anyway, as Teresa said, she'd already gotten tired of hanging out with Kathy's husband Richie.
He's a good-looking guy from a successful family, so what should he fear from Billie Joel's daughter, Alexa Ray Joel? It's not that he's starstruck by her, but that "she's a pretty good-looking girl."
As such, he wants to take the next step and ask her out. But that's making himself vulnerable, as she can respond in whatever way she wants to. He's the one who has to make a move. And because he's so caught up in that, it cripples his ability to talk socially, or apparently say things that don't come across horribly.
This is Caroline's third season, and the proud mama bear of the group said it's been a crazy couple of years.
"It's been a tremendous experience," she said. "I wanted something interesting to do with my family and I got a whirlwind of an experience."
Melissa, sister-in-law to Teresa Giudice, has been involved with the season's biggest storyline, the feud between her husband Joe, and Teresa. While the cameras showed some clashes between Melissa and Teresa, Melissa said it's not exactly accurate.
"[The feud] really is between a brother and a sister, "Melissa said. "And I do get caught in the middle."
Check out the full video interview below.
This week, though, things got dramatic when Kim G. was abruptly asked to leave. She must have anticipated it, because she brought her own -- ultimately ineffective -- bodyguard. Does that mean Caroline was right to say she only went there to hurt people and stir the pot?
Of course it does!
Joe was asked to switch outfits with Jacqueline, and she was game for it. And then he came out and looked either absolutely ridiculous or perfectly dressed for a high-flying trapeze act.
"Am I supposed to put that back on when his balls are flopping in there?" Jacqueline asked as Joe danced around. Then, when he was asked to do a high kick, he obliged yet again. Now Jacqueline has even more to worry about going on inside that outfit.
We don't usually tune in to 'Live With Regis and Kelly' (weekdays, syndicated) for hard-hitting, emotionally raw interviews, but Reeg stepped up Friday and got real with 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' stars Teresa Giudice and her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga.
They've been feuding on the show this season, and Regis zeroed in on how the reality TV drama was affecting their real-life families, particularly Teresa and Joe Giudice's parents.
"What do your mother and father say about this?" he asked Teresa.
"I don't think they ever want to be on the show again, because they're disgusted. Look, my legs are shaking now, just saying that about my parents."
Apparently, Teresa is not as good at the oral service as Jacqueline. Maybe it was the drinks. At first, Teresa seemed to be taking the news well enough, telling Jacqueline, "You gotta give me pointers."
Later, though, she turned on Joe a bit. "I'm really insulted. You better say sorry to me."
But Joe had no idea why. He was just being honest. "While you're doing it I tell you your good, but I lied." Maybe he'd have been better of to continue lying about this.
She opened this week's episode by having a sit-down lunch with Joe where she tried to get past the enormous emotional walls he put up. She found a crack in his defenses when she asked him if he wanted to have regrets should their ailing father not pull through.
"Call my wife and you work it out with your mother and my wife, because you're the one that's involved," Joe told Teresa. As determined as she is to mend this relationship, Teresa set out to do just that.
Adolfo Arreola, a law enforcement officer at the University of Illinois in Chicago, alleges that he suffered a broken arm, cuts, bruises and had blurred vision after members of the 'Housewives' cast "savagely beat, kicked, punched, scratched" and cracked a glass over his head during an altercation that began with Teresa Giudice in a Hard Rock Hotel & Casino bar in Punta Cana on Feb. 23.
According to the 'Chicago Tribune', the police officer's cousin, Jason A. Gomez, also alleges he suffered a broken leg while trying to help out Arreola.
This week, however, it seemed like Joe might be ready to bury the hatchet and start trying to rebuild a relationship with his sister and her kids.
He called Teresa on the phone and said that seeing her daughter Gia crying at the Christening had broken his heart. So now he'd like to come and see her perform at her upcoming gymnastics meet.
A gym meet's a big deal for a little girl, and Gia cried with sheer happiness at the thought of her uncle finally getting to see her perform. Even Teresa shed a tear or two at the thought of the family coming together, and it looked like this could be an end to the Giudice-Gorga family feud.
But would Uncle Joe come through for Gia? This is 'Real Housewives' after all ...
The Jersey housewives were given the unprecedented early pickup just a handful of episodes into Season 3. 'Real Housewives of New Jersey,' known for its big hair and big drama, has performed incredibly well by Bravo standards. The Season 3 premiere was watched by 2.9 million people, with subsequent episodes hovering around 2.7 and 2.5 million viewers.
Season 3 stars Caroline Manzo, Jacqueline Laurita, Teresa Giudice, Teresa's sister-in-law Melissa Gorga Teresa's cousin Kathy Waklie.
We love that Melissa was scared already simply when Joe said he had a surprise outside. While she told him she suspected it was a puppy instead of a mechanical bull, you knew she was prepared for the possibility of something outlandish and crazy.
When the party guests came out, Joe made sure he'd been given enough time so they'd walk out and see him sitting astride the bull. "It keeps our marriage alive, baby doll," he said of the crazy contraption.
