Snooki's poof apparently doesn't work its magic on Republicans.

A new study by Experian-Simmons found conservative-leaning viewers tend to favor reality programming like 'Dancing With the Stars,' 'The Bachelor,' 'The Biggest Loser,' 'MythBusters,' but one exception to that trend was 'Jersey Shore.' Also among GOP favorites is the History Channel's block of programming: 'Only in America with Larry the Cable Guy,' 'American Pickers,' and 'Swamp People.'

Two other popular liberal shows, 'Glee' and 'Modern Family,' topped the conservative list last year, but are no longer two of the favorite shows among Republican viewers, according to EW. They did, however, still rank high with those on the more liberal end of the political spectrum.

The latest Superman actor, Henry Cavill, may have wound up playing a couple of very different pop culture icons had the stars aligned differently. On 'The Tonight Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC), Jay Leno asked him about rumors that he was nearly cast as one of pop culture's oldest roles, and one of its newest.

Cavill confirmed that for his understanding, the role of James Bond was narrowed down to him and Daniel Craig. On the other end of the spectrum, it was his impression that Stephenie Meyer wanted him for Edward, but by the time they got around to making the movies he'd gotten too old.

Kristen Stewart is getting down and dirty for her new film 'Snow White and the Huntsman.' On 'The Tonight Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC) she admitted that she hauled off and clocked Chris Hemsworth for real in one scene. Neither used a stunt double, though Hemsworth might have wished he had.

"Girls, if you've ever wondered if it works, it works," Stewart said. "I mean it literally spun him right around." She proceeded to smack her fist into her hand multiple times trying to mimick the sound. But then she said, "I'm not proud, though."

Jay Leno called her on this lie immediately, though. "You were just bragging," he pointed out. "You were proud." And she is, even if she does feel bad. She can feel both at once!

When Taylor Lautner chose to stick around 'The Tonight Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC) for Martha Stewart's interview, he couldn't have anticipated the sexual tension that would soon be filling the air.

Stewart says her favorite time to entertain guests is in the morning, so when Jay Leno asked her about that, she immediately offered to make him breakfast in bed. "Will you be there?" he hinted.

Later, when asking if Lautner was too young for Stewart, she insisted that he was. "Jay, I like men like you," she said, at which point Lautner got up and said, "I'm gonna give you guys some room."

Usually, when a guest sticks around on the late night talk shows, they slide down to the couch and stay relatively quiet during subsequent interviews. But Eddie Murphy couldn't stay out of Jay Leno's interview with Ernie 'Turtleman' Brown, Jr. on 'The Tonight Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC).

It was when Brown matter-of-factly explained that he'd lost some of his teeth by saying, "I walked into a chainsaw."

"They're kind of loud," Murphy said. "How do you walk into it?"

Justin Bieber wanted to take girlfriend Selena Gomez on a memorable and special date. Dinner and a movie is certainly a classic, but when you're a worldwide superstar, you don't just do dinner and a movie. As he explained on 'The Tonight Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC), you have to go big.

"I decided I kind of wanted to have dinner and I kind of thought that maybe we should do it in the middle of the Staples Center," he explained. So Bieber rented out the Staples Center -- as he said, the Lakers aren't using it right now -- and the couple enjoyed a romantic dinner together, and then snuggled in to watch 'Titanic' on the jumbotron. Kind of makes you want to try a little harder on your next date, doesn't it?

Jay Leno was fascinated with Chelsea Handler's love life on 'The Tonight Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC). First, he wanted to talk about her ex-boyfriend who's currently Leno's boss.

"He's your boss, too," Handler said. "Yeah, so you're going to have to start sleeping with him."

Leno called it on Handler being attracted to older men, though she tried to deny it at first. But she says "everything is possible," citing her phase where she dated mostly black men.

John Cho and Kal Penn are starring in their third 'Harold & Kumar' film this holiday season, but that doesn't mean they do everything together. John Cho clarified this for Jay Leno on 'The Tonight Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC) when the host asked him if he'd ever worked in the White House like Penn did.

Cho has been to the White House, though, and got a special treat while he was there. Both he and his father were born in Korea -- his father walked from North to South when war broke out -- so they were honored to met the president of South Korea, and then the president of the United States.

Barack Obama has managed to do something that many Americans are finding quite difficult. He's managed to avoid both the Kardashians and the current GOP field of candidates vying to take his job. On 'The Tonight Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC), he admitted that while he doesn't want his daughters watching the Kardashians on television, he's never seen the show.

"I am probably a little biased against reality TV," he admitted. "Partly because there's this program on C-SPAN called Congress."

This new, skinnier Jonah Hill is much more confident and aggressive than he used to be. Or at least, that's become more an aspect of the stories he likes to tell on talk shows like 'The Tonight Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC).

When he's not feuding with Matthew Morrison, Hill is standing up for his right to privacy and a peaceful meal at his favorite sushi restaurant. By standing up, we mean quite literally standing, shouting and eventually getting into a shoving match with a middle-aged man in a suit.

President Obama is stopping by 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' on Tues., Oct. 25.

This will be Obama's fourth appearance on the late night talk show.

Obama first stopped by to chat with Leno on Dec. 1, 2006. He followed up that visit in October of 2007 and according to NBC, in March 2009 he became the first sitting president to appear on a late night talk show.

Zachary Levi was in training for a possible new gig once 'Chuck' is over. 'The Tonight Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC) followed him as he suited up and got to work at the drive-thru of a local Chik-Fil-A.

Levi was chipping in for charity, and had a lot of fun with the customers as the day progressed. Some of them knew him, which genuinely touched him as he appreciated their enthusiasm and excitement. Others seemed to have no idea who he was.

All they know was this tall guy was acting wacky and crazy. At one point, he told a customer that Chik-Fil-A had the freshest chicken, and then chastised a live chicken for wandering around in the drive-thru. It certainly looked like he was having fun, and bringing it to Chik-Fil-A's customers, too.

J.R. Martinez has managed to come back from a near-fatal explosion in Iraq and go on to star in a daytime soap opera and is now competing on 'Dancing With the Stars.' He talked about what happened to him in Iraq, and the two-and-a-half year recovery that came after, on 'The Tonight Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC).

One of the hardest things for him was coming out of the coma and seeing his body for the first time; he suffered severe burns on 40 percent of his body. Only 19 years old at the time, he recalled, "Coming out of a coma and seeing your body for the first time and thinking to myself, how am I ever gonna get a beautiful girl?"

Proving that she lives the show every day for which she won an Emmy this year, Julie Bowen related the story about how her children have already broken the statue on 'The Tonight Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC). Apparently, it makes a great football tee.

It may have seemed bizarre, then, that Jay Leno wanted to talk about her time working on the syndicated show 'Acapulco H.E.A.T.' The series ran for two seasons in the mid-1990s and starred Fabio, who Bowen lamented she never got a chance to meet.

It looks like having studios that bump up against one another can be good for romance. Julianne Hough met boyfriend Ryan Seacrest repeatedly while they were on their respective shows, 'Dancing With the Stars' and 'American Idol.' On 'The Tonight Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC), she talked a little about how he wooed her, and his dancing skills.

According to Hough, she could tell Seacrest was into her during a radio interview she did on his show. The only slightly awkward part was that she was there with her then-boyfriend at the time.
