'A-Team' Complete Series DVD Will Be Shaped as the 'A-Team' Van
by Danny Gallagher, posted Mar 2nd 2010 9:30PM
Did you ever want to own the 'A-Team' van but the missus wouldn't let you blow Junior's college fund on a GMC van, the fancy paint job or the ton of golden neck jewelry? This may be the closest you'll ever get. Universal Home Entertainment will release the entire series run on DVD on June 8th, just a few days before the big screen remake from director Joe Carnahan hits the screens.
Just look at it! It's the shape of the freakin' 'A-Team' van, quite possibly the coolest van in the history of vans. If Universal would be willing to sell just the box, I would gladly buy it just so I can store my bootleg 'Spaced' DVDs in it.

7 TV Shows That Shouldn't Be Made Into Movies
by Chris O'Connell, posted Nov 17th 2009 11:00AM
Ever since 'Gilmore Girls' creator Amy Sherman-Palladino recently disclosed to Entertainment Weekly that she isn't ruling out a movie adaptation of the coming-of-age mother-daughter dramedy, we've been thinking of the other television shows rumored to become movies in the not-so-distant future. Mostly, we've been thinking about how much we will hate them.
Behold, the seven worst (maybe) upcoming TV to film adaptations and why they are bad ideas.
A-Team movie has almost come together

I love it when a cast comes together, except this one. Joe Carnahan's cast for the big screen A-Team remake has three out of the four main team members cast and is awaiting confirmation on the fourth.
So far, Liam Neeson has been confirmed to play Hannibal, Bradley Cooper has been fingered for Faceman, and mixed martial arts and UFC fighter Quentin "Rampage" Jackson will play B.A. The director has approached but not yet confirmed Sharito Coplay to play Murdock, debunking rumors that Jim Carrey, Robert Downey, Jr. or Woody Harrelson would be the team's fourth man.
The A-Team: I love it when a plan comes together (not)

The A-Team movie has become the fabled Citizen Kane of our times, which doesn't say a whole hell of a lot for our times. The movie has been passed around and played with more than a bongo at Matthew McConaughey's house. It's gone from production staff to production staff, studio to studio, and now director to director.
Several outlets have reported that the project now has a new director. The megaphone has been passed from Ridley Scott to Smokin' Aces writer and director Joe Carnahan.
