Larry King Always Wanted to be a Comedian: Making People Laugh Is 'Better Than Sex' (VIDEO)
by Oliver Miller, posted Dec 17th 2010 12:35AM
On 'The Fran Drescher Tawk Show' (weekdays, syndicated on Fox), Fran welcomed Larry King, who's stepping down after 25 years of 'Larry King Live.' While talking with Fran, Larry revealed that what he loves most in the world is making people laugh -- not necessarily a wise thing to say to Fran Drescher, but okay. Larry said that if he hadn't fallen into the world of TV and radio, he would have become a stand-up comedian. (Which is a dream he still has, by the way.) Mr. King expressed respect for the difficult task of being a stand-up comic. He added that when you step on a stage as a comedian, no one can help you: "There's the audience and there's you -- and they're saying 'Make me laugh.'"
Fran Drescher Tawks About Her New Daytime Gig, 'Nanny' Similarities & Reuniting With Old Co-Stars
by Maggie Furlong, posted Nov 26th 2010 9:00AM
Fran Drescher is well known from shows like 'The Nanny' and 'Living With Fran,' but her trademark will always be her voice. So it's only fitting that her signature sound -- and that trademark-worthy laugh -- get its own arena. Enter 'The Fran Drescher Tawk Show,' her new daytime show which premieres in several markets today (Fri., Nov. 26; check local listings).
I caught up with Drescher to get the scoop on her new show, which she describes as a mix between 'Oprah,' 'Rosie' and 'Charlie Rose,' with a splash of 'The Nanny.' So what's it like being the interviewer after years as the interviewee? And can we expect some cast reunions of her old shows? Check it out ...
The Show Girl's Got Scoop on 'Top Chef All Stars,' 'The Fran Drescher Tawk Show' & 'Glory Daze' (VIDEO)

I seriously cannot wait for 'Top Chef All Stars.' Seeing cheftestants from seasons past, going head-to-head to prove they deserved to win is my idea of good TV. Add new judge Anthony Bourdain to that equation and I'm practically giddy. I caught up with Tony and head judge Tom Colicchio to find out who's changed the most, and who they'd want to hang out with outside of the show.

Plus, fans of 'The Nanny' can stop watching their box sets on a loop -- Fran Drescher is back on TV with a new daytime talk show. Excuse me, tawk show. So who's her dream guest? Well let's just say she's aiming pretty high ...
I also get totally '80s with the stars of 'Glory Daze.' What's their stance on the bright clothes and crazy hairstyles? And what would their characters' '80s theme songs be? Yep, making people sing on the spot is never not entertaining.
